It was time to honour the greats and smear the red carpet with chicness….
It is that time of the year when the good, better, best get awarded and praised for their job throughout the year. It rarely spins a surprise since movie buffs like us can now easily figure out who deserve the coveted trophies. These days, more than the winners, it is the celebs’ red carpet appearances that make us more interested. There is glamour, attitude, poise, fun, naughtiness and little scandals unfolding right there! Fashion statements are made which becomes a reference point. Only recently, we were left enamoured by Salman and Shah Rukh Khan along with Varun Dhawan and Kajol on red carpet of Stardust Awards and here comes a new one. Yesterday, the Guild Awards were held and the style statement on the red carpet would make many reconsider their wardrobe choices. Check it out!
It has to begin with Priyanka Chopra as she was looking simply breathtaking in an Alexis Mabille off-shoulder velvet gown. She paired it up with smokey eyes and bold lips. She is a sight for the sore eyes. But more than that it is her banter with Sonam Kapoor and poses with Sunny Leone that made us really interested. Sonam had donned a beautiful Paolo Sebastian gown while Sunny wore a blue Sonakshi Raj gown looking ravishing. Kriti Sanon’s Gauri and Nainika gown was so refreshing on the red carpet. But we particularly liked the milkmaid braid updo! She looks amazing! Ranveer Singh sans a proper moustache and Shahid Kapoor with the moochie were the dashing dudes of the whole event.
