Rajkumar Hirani has postponed Sanjay Dutt’s biopic, read on to know why…
Sanjay Dutt’s biopic is one of the most important films for Rajkumar Hirani. He roped in the Kapoor scion Ranbir Kapoor for this special film and we were expecting that the ace filmmaker will leave no stone unturned to start this dream project soon. But looks like we are mistaken. Alas, the film has been put on hold and here’s why.
Apparently, Hirani wants to concentrate on his production venture starring R Madhavan, Saala Khadoos. Well, this is a sad news for the fans of the Tamasha actor. Saala Khadoos is about a banished, temperamental boxing coach essayed by R Madhavan and his struggle to train some kick ass boxing talent in the country. The film will be out by January 29 next year and only then will he concentrate on Sanju’s biopic.
This film is an important film for both Hirani and Ranbir. Ranbir needs a blockbuster hit to wipe out some dismal flops in his career graph since last couple of years. It would be interesting to see how the original bad boy Sanjay Dutt’s good friend portrays him on the big screen. Will Ranbir do justice to Sanju’s rockstar image? only time will tell.
