The promo talks of a tale of two lovers who have to choose between love and practicality in a modern setting
The handsome hunk is back on Indian TV. Yes, Shaheer Sheikh who made women in Indonesia go mad with his sculpted physique and good looks is making a comeback with Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi. The promo is a short one and shows a modern couple at crossroads. Shaheer (Dev) and Erica Fernandes (Sonakshi) have to take a decision on their relationship as Shaheer’s mother is apparently not very happy with his choice of a life partner. The two are clearly an urban couple, who think practically and have a lot to deal with it. He is a business tycoon while she is a modern working woman.
What we loved the most was the subtlety. No over-the-top emotions here but an undercurrent of tension, which is conveyed through the actors body language and eyes. Shaheer has clearly grown as an actor and it clearly shows. Pyar Ke Rang Kuch Aise Bhi is a far cry from his previous shows. It has a premise that every youngster can relate to. Erica has worked in the South Indian film industry before and this is her first daily show.
Sony TV is reportedly set for a makeover and will launch a bouquet of new shows. Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi is produced by Yash Patnaik, who also made Sadda Haq, Veera and Junoon. The title track of the show will be unveiled soon. Shaheer has a considerable fan following in India and Indonesia, so the anticipation is higher.
