Ram Kapoor will now be seen playing a tyrant dad in his upcoming film Mere Dad Ki Maruti, who gets furious when his son sneaks out his plush Maruti car and returns home saying that it got stolen! The title song of this movie tells the tragedy in a fun way. Punjabi singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh has sung this hilarious number. The colourful rendition gives a glimpse of what one can expect from the film.
Directed by Ashima Chibber and produced by Ashish Patil, Mere Dad Ki Maruti stars Saqib Saleem and debutant Rhea Chakraborty along with Ram Kapoor, who plays the khadoos dad in what can be called his first full-fledged comedy role.
