The Chakravyuh actors will interact with their fans who will upload the videos of their confessions online for the ‘Get Arrested’ contest
Prakash Jha’s next political thriller Chakravyuh is up for release later this month and the promotional campaign has already begun. Instead of focussing on this one, Jha has been talking about his multi-starrer Satyagraha, that brings Amitabh Bachchan and Kareena Kapoor together again. Just when we were beginning to worry about the fate of the Arjun Rampal-Abhay Deol-Esha Gupta starrer, we saw that the makers had cooked up a contest to promote the film.
According to an official statement, “The idea of the contest is to get people to confess their crime and Get Arrested. SP Adil Khan played by Arjun Rampal in the film persuades the participants to confess their mistakes in a short video in this digital tab. A genuine confession from the participant in the contest will get to meet the cast and crew of the film.” While we aren’t sure how much this will help Chakravyuh, we wonder why Abhay has gone silent over this film. Hope all is well…
