The Jab Tak Hai Jaan stars got together at the music launch of their film recently. And guess what Kat didn’t spare a single opportunity of pulling SRK’s leg, even though she was miles away shooting for Dhoom:3 and talking through virtual video calling service – Skype
Katrina Kaif thinks that Shahrukh Khan’s guitar strumming act in the song Challa didn’t look very natural, just like we did! She unabashedly spoke her mind and said that the least SRK could do is learn the chords and try and make it look more realistic, instead of simply flitting around with his six strings. Now, although King Khan took that comment with a pinch of salt, he made sure he gave it back in his trademark silly-humour style.
Khan asked her if she managed to do justice to her playing-the-guitar-act in Mere Brother Ki Dulhan and also ordered her to stop behaving like a typical method actor. Phew! Although the conversation had almost reached a stalemate, Kat was determined to prove that she was hands-down better than him in this domain. And what ensued after this super funny and light-hearted argument? Well, SRK challenged Kat to learn the chords of Challa and play the guitar in the next press conference. And obviously the challenge was accepted without any reluctance.
We are glad that King Khan was made to realise by his own co-star that he looks very amateurish in the song, trying to wield a musical instrument without doing any kind of homework beforehand. But we are sure hardcore SRK fans like us are too awestruck by him to even notice his onscreen shortcomings…what say?
