The actor, who starred in over 300 films, breathed his last on Monday morning in Mumbai
Veteran actor Brij Mohan Vyas passed away on Monday, March 11, at 7.30am at his residence in Kalyan near Mumbai. The actor, who was also a trained singer and had worked on theatre before making an entry into films, had starred in more than 300 films in his career.
Although he mostly played the role of a father figure, some of his most notable roles include that of Raavan in the 1961 film Sampoorna Ramayana, and in films like Do Aankhen Barah Haath, Maa and Daulat Ki Jung and Sarawastichandra. He stopped acting in the ‘90s, and one of his last biggest films was Oh Darling Yeh Hai India starring Shahrukh Khan and Deepa Sahi.
