Celebs tweeted about Bollywood’s big wins at the 60th National Film Awards, announced on March 18
As the 60th National Film Awards were being announced yesterday, Bollywood celebs including actors and directors began congratulating their colleagues on Twitter. Karan Johar was one of the first ones to react, writing about Parineeti Chopra‘s Special Mention for Ishaqzaade. He tweeted, “Congratulations @ParineetiChopra….what an honour at such a young age!!! Keep the great work going….” He also mentioned Nikhil Advani and Sujoy Ghosh’s wins for Delhi Safari and Kahaani.
Celebs like Akshay Kumar, Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi, Siddharth, Aditi Rao Hydari, Nikhil Advani, Prakash Raj, Dia Mirza, Parambrata Chatterjee, Mukta Arts, Onir, Bhawana Somaaya, Anurag Kashyap Films and many others took to social networking sites like Twitter and Facebook to express their happiness over their friends’ victory at the prestigious awards. Vicky Donor director Shoojit Sircar thanked everyone who congratulated him on Twitter. Some journalists, public relations executives, managers and producers also tweeted.
