According to the latest report from a popular trade weekly, Sunil Shetty was signed on as the negative lead in the Salman Khan starrer Kick. But when we confirmed the story with the Bollywood’s favourite (and ours too!) Anna, he completely denied it. Hmmm…
Ever since Sajid Nadiadwala replaced Shirish Kunder and took on the job of directing his first project Kick, the film has grabbed attention in industry circles. Soon there were debates whether Sajid would be able to do full justice to his mega directorial debut, which stars his best friend Salman Khan.
When we stumbled upon the story, we got really excited thinking we would see our macho actor Sunil Shetty in an action-packed avatar in a masala entertainer doing serious dishum-dishum with Sallu on screen. And since we couldn’t control our excitement, we decided to verify the story with Sunil. The Hera Pheri actor preferred to get back to us with a text message saying “Not true”, without revealing any further details.
We guess maybe it’s too early for Sunil to comment on anything regarding Kick. But now when we know that he is not doing Sajid’s debut film, we wonder what could have been the real reason for the generous actor to say no to such big project. Watch this space for more.
