Bhabho’s dream seems to be taking a positive turn, will the happiness continue to dwell in the Rathi family?

In the last episode, we saw how Mohit and Emily go ahead to perform the rituals during Meenakshi’s (Kanika Maheshwari) baby shower, but Bhabho (Neelu Vaghela) stops them and ask Sooraj (Anas Rashid) and Sandhya (Deepika Singh) to do it first as they are elder.

While performing the ritual, Sandhya tries to get closer to Sooraj but he doesn’t reciprocate. Bhabho is happy to see Sandhya’s efforts of coming closer to Sooraj but Babasa is still doubtful about their union and does not feel good about all this.

Meanwhile, Chhavi sees a necklace in Meenakshi’s mother’s hands and gets tensed as it is the same one gifted to her by Sandhya. She is worried that Bhabho will find out that she had sold the necklace and it might hurt her feelings.

In the upcoming episode, we will see Bhabho trying to help Sandhya to bring her closer to Sooraj. She will ask Sooraj to make Sandhya wear the anklet. Sandhya will happily wear the anklet. Sooraj, who has been wanting to talk to Sandhya, makes use of this opportunity to do so. Assuming that Sooraj will talk about getting back together, Sandhya blushes.

What is it that Sooraj wants to talk about? Is he really going to ask Sandhya to move back with him? Or is it something else? For all these answers, stay tuned!

While Jr Kapoor has always maintained that he is just playing a supporting role in Roy, his co-stars Arjun and Jackie feel the film belongs to him as much as to them…

A lot has been written about how Ranbir Kapoor is staying away from his upcoming release Roy which also features Arjun Rampal and Jacqueline Fernandez. In fact, the Kapoor lad is not even promoting the film as he apparently wants Rampal to take the charge since he is the lead actor. When we last interviewed him during Besharam, RK had said, “I play a supporting character in the film and lead stars are Arjun and Jacqueline. Vicky came to me with the film and as a friend and an actor I appreciated what he brought to the table. But it’s not my film. I am just play a supporting role. So I want to make it clear ‘coz people are saying that I am grabbing the headlines. I am part of the film but it stars Arjun Rampal and Jacqueline Fernandez.”

However, Arjun and Ms Fernandez believe otherwise. We say so because the leading lady of Roy recently said to a portal that Katrina Kaif’s beau indeed plays an important role in Vikramjit Singh’s directorial debut. The babe said, “There is no Roy without Ranbir’, his role is very crucial to the plot.”

As for Ranbir not promoting Roy, the RA.One actor said to the same portal, “Ranbir is shooting for Jagga Jasoos, so he can’t yet be promoting Roy. He is a professional, and at the right time, closer to the film’s release, he will be speaking about it.”

In that case, let’s hope we get to see the Rockstar actor promoting Roy pretty soon!

The Alone actor talks about his fascination for dark characters

Karan Singh Grover, who is making his Bollywood debut with Bipasha Basu starrer horror film Alone, hopes to play dark characters in Bollywood after establishing himself as a romantic hero on the small screen.
Alone, directed by Ragini MMS 2 director Bhushan Patel and produced by Kumar Mangat, releases this Friday. ”I want to play someone really dark, like a real bad guy on screen. But I am sure I won’t be able to do so because my fans will not let me do it. They are aggressive. My image is such that no one will allow me to do a negative character,” Karan said in an interview here.

The actor did not feel it was a risk to make his big screen debut with a horror film, even though this genre is not very popular with the audience. ”I really liked the script of Alone. I thought there were a lot unexpected things in the film, which I would want to watch as a viewer. I did not think like I was doing a horror film, I did not think in terms of genre. I decided on the basis of the script.”

Karan is all praise for Bipasha and said she was a very encouraging co-star which helped him perform better as he was quite nervous as a newcomer. ”Bipasha is a very encouraging co-actor. It was great working with her. She is immensely beautiful, you are always in awe of her. She is inspirational.

“I was nervous because all the names associated with the film were seasoned and known. Bipasha is a star, Kumar Mangat has been producing film for years and Bhushan had two hits to his credit so I knew only I could go wrong. I was cautious about not letting anything go wrong,” he said. .

After Chennai Express, Shah Rukh Khan is once again joining hands with Rohit Shetty. The superstar will be seen in latter’s next production venture with is yet-to-be titled. The film will go on floors pretty soon and we hear the Singham Returns director is apparently eyeing Christmas release for the same. Well, if that’s the case then SRK’s untitled flick will clash with Ranbir Kapoor’s Tamasha and Ranveer Singh’s Bajirao Mastani. Now it would be interesting to see three big banner production ventures releasing during the same period, hai na?

While talking to a leading tabloid, a source said, “Shah Rukh and Rohit have finalised things and he is planning to release the film on the occasion of Christmas but it depends on how the project shapes up,”

Since festive seasons have always proved to be lucky for filmmaker, we are pretty sure all the three films will rake in moolah, even if they release on the same day or during the same period. But at the same time, we also know that when films clash at the box office, they end up eating each other’s business. So its always better to avoid competition at the ticket windows, hai na?

The popular rapper and singer was admitted to a rehab and is out. Read on to know the details!

The once seen everywhere Yo Yo Honey Singh has been missing from the limelight for a while now. We hear that the popular rapper cum singer was suffering from alcoholism and had to be admitted to a rehab for treatment. He reportedly has been battling with the substance abuse for several years and our sources tell us that a recent incident made him realise that he needed help.

We hear that the Chaar Botal Vodka singer was sitting in a bar abroad when he was getting constant calls to make his scheduled appearance for a show. He kept getting repeated calls from the organizers but a careless Yo Yo, ignored them all. Things turned ugly when the singer kicked up a fuss to leave and smashed a glass bottle on his own head!

He was bleeding profusely and needed to be taken to the hospital but that couldn’t be done as it would invite police charges against him. Thus, we hear that an Indian doctor was brought in to put stitches to a bleeding Yo Yo’s head.

The entire affair was kept hush hush and we hear that  Yo Yo is reportedly out of rehab now where he spent a few months in recovery. Remember how he was missing from the SLAM tour and has been missing from the scene since quite a while now? There were speculations that the singer was undergoing depression but the case was different all along…

Is this it, will Sooraj and Sandhya finally come together? Or will there be another twist in this tale?

In the previous episode, we saw Rathi family enjoying the function wholeheartedly. Chavvi and Dilip are dancing together on a famous dance number, meanwhile Sandhya (Deepika Singh) realises that Bhabho (Neelu Vaghela) is not feeling well and rushes towards her. Looking at the worried faces, Bhabho makes sure that her pain doesn’t come in the middle of the function.

Suddenly, Dilip and Chavvi bring Sooraj (Anas Rashid) and Sandhya on the dance floor and tie the two together with a dupatta. Looking at the romance brew between the two, Bhabho prays to god for her dream to come true.

Sandhya slips while dancing and Sooraj catches her elegantly. While the duo are looking at each other the title song starts in the background and both go into a romantic dream sequence.

In the upcoming episode, we will see Sooraj takes Sandhya to his room,where the walls are covered with photos and hand prints. Sandhya starts talking to Sooraj overwhelmingly about the whole scenario. Sooraj looks away from Sandhya and realises that their shadows appears as if they are close to each other.

What will Sooraj tell Sandhya after her overwhelming reaction? Will the couple reunite? Stay tuned to find out!

The actor talks about his new film in the popular

Actor Ali Fazal, who participated in a drag race Aamby Valley City to promote Furious 7, is confident that he won’t disappoint his fans with his appearance in the upcoming Hollywood action thriller movie.
The new film in the popular Fast & Furious franchise is all set for release April 3 worldwide. Ali is doing his bit to promote it. On Jan 11, he participated in a drag race. ”The Furious 7 producers Universal Studios had arranged the drag race as part of the film’s promotion in India. Audiences in India won’t be disappointed by the length of my role. I’ve enough footage to make my presence felt,” he said.

The young actor who started his career with an unbilled appearance in 3 Idiots, is looking westward to expand his horizons. ”I was offered a role in the series Homeland which I couldn’t do because the dates clashed with my film with the Bhatts — Khamoshiyan. But I wish I had done it. Look at how much notice the series got Nimrat Kaur,” he added.

At a recent event, music composer Anu Malik got a tad bit too warm while greeting the 24 actor!

Now this must have been embarrassing! We caught hold of a picture in Mumbai Mirror from the recent cast announcement of Hera Pheri 3 where we saw Anu Malik holding Anil Kapoor by his arms and planting a kiss on his lips!

The mix up happened when Anu Malik went in for a hug to greet Mr Kapoor but inadvertantly gave him a kiss! For all those who cannot figure how this might have come to pass, think of the FRIENDS episode TOW Rachel’s inadvertent kiss and you’ll get what happened.

We wonder how Anu Malik would have recovered from the embarrassing episode but Suniel Shetty who can be seen shaking Anil’s hand in he same picture does look positively scandalized. After all, Anu Malik planting a warm one on Anil Kapoor’s lips is the last thing you’d want to see!

According to sources, Mallika Sherawat‘s ex will be seen romancing popular South Indian actress Srishti Sharma. The young heartthrob will be seen as an insatiable lover in his upcoming movie. The actor was pretty kicked to be working with Mahendra Dhariwal and says that he was made to feel comfortable on the sets by the filmmaker and his co-stars. He seems to have had a fun time shooting for the film.

The Welcome Back actress talks about her sister’s debut film

Actress Shruti Haasan, who is gearing up for the release of six films — four in Bollywood and one each in Tamil and Telugu this year – says she is excited about her sister Akshara Haasan’s debut film Shamitabh.“I like the Shamitabh trailer very much. I am very excited for the whole team, especially for my sister (Akshara). (I’m) Very proud of her and I wish the whole team all the best,” Shruti said.

Directed by R. Balki, Shamitabh also stars southern star Dhanush, veteran Bollywood actress Rekha and megastar Amitabh Bachcan in key roles. The film is set to release Feb 6.

The actress talks about her latest film with Ayushmann

After Besharam failed to evoke a positive response, Pallavi Sharda is confident that her new movie Hawaizaada will help her prove her worth as a versatile actress.In Hawaizaada, Pallavi stars as Ayushmann Khurrana’s on screen love interest. And while she doesn’t want to call Hawaizaada a “new start”, she feels that after Besharam, “I got another chance to show that I can play these kind of roles too”.

“I believe I’m a versatile actor. I hope people would love my work. Hawaizaada is mostly based on Ayushmann (Khurrana) and Mithun-da’s (Mithun Chakraborty) story, my love story…so, I just hope people like my part of the story,” Pallavi said.

Directed by Vibhu Puri, Hawaizaada revolves around an Indian scientist Shivkar Bapuji Talpade, who is credited with having constructed India’s first unmanned plane.

The film is set to hit the screens Jan 30.

Actor Sushant Singh Rajput-starrer upcoming crime thriller Detective Byomkesh Bakshy! will now hit the screens April 3, a week before its initial release date, Yash Raj Films (YRF) announced Wednesday.
Directed by Dibakar Banerjee, the film, based on the detective character Byomkesh Bakshi created by Bengali writer Sharadindu Bandyopadhyay, was previously slated to release April 10.

The film will also see actors Anand Tiwari, Swastika Mukherjee and Divya Menon in pivotal roles.

The lack of novelty in plot is compensated by engaging story telling filled with twists and turns to keep you engaged

Post Rajinikanth’s Robot, director Shankar has been away from big budget films for four years. With Vikram’s I, the director revisits his love for grandeur and visual spectacle, without sacrificing the elements of commercial cinema. With huge anticipation among the fans all over, I is sure to rule the box office for next few days. Backed by a great team of actors and technicians including names like Vikram, AR Rahman and PC Sreeram, Shankar has tried to sell the old wine in new package. Does it work? Read on to find out.

What’s it about:

I recounts the age old saga of love and revenge, keeping in mind the taste of mass audiences. The story revolves around body builder Lingesan, whose goal in life is to become Mr Tamil Nadu. Apart from training restlessly in gym, Lingesan’s only other job is to fantasise about hs favourite super model Diya, night and day. Meanwhile Diya, played by Amy Jackson, appalled by the behaviour of fellow ad model John, played by Upen Patel, has a chance meeting her fan Lingesan. In order to resurrect her drowning carrer in ad world, Diya seeks Lingesan’s help, asking him to star in a high profile perfume commercial with her. Love blossoms between the two leads, which irks transgender stylist Osma, who loves Lingesan. Lingesan turns into Lee, an ad world sensation with in just few months time. Jealous of his rising career and blossoming love life, John, Osma join hands with Diya’s family doctor, who has a thing for Diya, to bring Lee down. The detractors evil plan works as Lee soon becomes hunchbacked cripple due to influenza virus injected in his body. How does severely deformed Lee aka Lingesan, takes revenge from his enemies forms the rest of the story. Will Diya accept him in the crippled form?

What’s good:

I is technically a very sound film, backed with sprawling sets, breathtaking make up, amazing camera work, nicely choreographed stunt sequences and some great background score from AR Rahman. Though the story has nothing new to tell, an interesting twist and turns keep you engaged. Vikram has given a stand out performance pulling of three different roles – body builder, model and hunchbacked cripple with great conviction. Be it comedy, romance or action, Vikram is game for it. The amount effort he has put to get into the shoes of body builder’s character is commendable. Amy Jackson looks hot and sexy at the intial stages of the film and has shown a lot of improvement from her previous performances. Upen Patel has good screen time in the film and the Bigg Boss star has utilised it well by giving a decent enough performance. Suresh Gopi is the surprise element of the film. The songs, composed by Rahman, are brilliant, especially Tum Todo Na( Ennodu Nee Irunthaal) song will leave you mesmerised. The portions shot in China are extremely beautiful.

What’s bad:

Contrary to it’s amazing trailer, I does not have an exhilarating story to tell, as Shankar rehashes the old clichés and packs them in a new way. The film’s three-hour run-time your tests you patience, as I found myself checking my watch more than once. While watching I, at times I thought, if so much of grandeur was required for the film to work. The scenes with transgender’s feelings and heart break, have not been dealt subtly as I found everyone in the audience laugh at her dismay, leaving me cringing in my seat. When the credits roll, we get to see Vikram slowly getting cured from his crippled ailment, which I felt was unnecessary as I felt the makers are trying to force a happy ending down my throat.

What to do:

I is not a great film and you are bound to be disappointed if you go in with huge expectations. But Vikram’s I is far from bad film. Watch it as a regular entertainer and the chances are there that you would end up liking it. I is a visual spectacle which should not be missed on big screen. Watch it for Vikram’s efforts, Shankar’s grandeur and some amazing make up work by WETA.

The birthday plans have been finally revealed…

As Javed Akhtar turns 70 on January 17, his son Farhan Akhtar, is planning a special get together. This multi-talented personality of our industry does not leave a chance to make the people close to him feel special. Farhan has personally planned a cozy get together for his father Javed’s birthday in his Lonavala farmhouse.

Farhan’s farmhouse, which is called Sukkoon is a perfect mini getaway for close friends and family. It is a beautiful place away from the city and it is exactly what the name suggests. He had celebrated his own 40th birthday there last year with a day long celebration. A source close to the actor says that whoever has seen the place keeps raving about how aesthetically it’s been done up and that Farhan has such good taste.

The few names who will be there to mark the occasion are Shabana Azmi, Ritesh Sidhwani, Zoya Akhtar, Reema Kagti along with some colleagues of Javed Akhtar. Special arrangements have been made for the guests and Farhan has been overlooking all the preparations himself.

Sushant Singh Rajput was last seen romancing Anushka Sharma in PK. Though he had a tiny role in the film he exhibited true acting prowess and his director Rajkumar Hirani was mighty impressed by his talent. As a gift for performing so well in PK, Raju Hirani decided to surprise Sushant with something special.

Back while they were shooting for PK, Rajkumar Hirani observed that Sushant is an avid reader of books and in his spare time he really enjoys reading bestsellers. So after the film released and became the path-breaking success, Raju decided to gift Sushant a carton full of great books on film-making to gorge on!

Naturally, Sushant was overwhelmed by Raju’s gesture. A source close to the actor reveals, “Sushant was surprised by Raju sir’s gesture. He had noticed Sushant’s love of books while working with him, but not many would expect him to remember it and arrange for so many bestsellers.” Now isn’t that a totally aww-worthy thing to do?
