History was created on Indian television for the first time when the opening episode of Sajid Khan and Riteish Deshmukh’s Yaaron Ki Baraat hit the small screen. It was nostalgic as last time the two were seen together on screen was in 1981’s multistarrer Naseeb. The episode was a boon for film fanatics like me as the two legends share various funny and interesting anecdotes of their heydays. Be it the first time they met when Shatrughan Sinha was already a known name and Amitabh Bachchan was a mere struggler. Their friendship passed the test of time, though they had their ups and downs. Amitabh Bachchan shared how Shatrughan Sinha was famous for never being on time and becasue of that almost all the time they used to miss functions and movies. When both were asked to name a film of eachother’s they wish they’d done, Amitabh Bachchan named Kalicharan and Shatrughan Sinhan named Sholay and also shared how he was the first one to be offered the role of Jai but due to some human error he passed it on and regrets it till today but in someway happy that it made Amitabh Bachchan the legend he is today.

The two then played the game to check how compatible they are as friends. Both took turns to play Heads-Up and the result was hillarious. The two were a laugh riot. Somebody cast them in a film already. The two gave another to fans when they enacted an iconic scene from Kaala Patthar. The two were asked to say each other’s dialogue and that was plain EPIC.

The emotional moment of the show happened when a fan requested them to name his daughter and Shatrughan Sinha suggested him to name her “Shamita” after him and Amitabh Bachchan. After the fun fans interaction, Sajid and Riteish asked the two legends to say few lines and Shatrughan Sinha in his legendary voice gave the show the apt ending. Sajid Khan and Riteish Deshmukh as hosts were amazing and looked like having the ball of their life. And they were in just awe of the two legends and rightly so. I could totally relate to them.

The show then showed us the preview of what to expect from it in coming episodes and I must say I am on board.

First look poster of Telugu veteran star Nandamuri Balakrishna’s 100th film Gautamiputra Satakarni is out and we are intrigued. The poster has NBK sitting on a throne in a completely different look. The look does justice to his role as Emperor Satakarani in the movie. After his last few films like Legend, Lion and Simha will be seen in a completely new look for this film. The poster looks quite regal and the teaser will be out on October 11 at 10:15 am.

This mythological, historical film is helmed by National Award winning director Krish. The movie also stars Shriya Saran and Hema Malini. And now we have official date doing the rounds on Twitter – January 12, 2017. So it’s going to be a Sankranti release! Looks like Nandamuri fans are in for a treat! For all those who don’t know, the movie is based on the life of a 2nd century ruler. Reportedly, this project is being made on a budget of Rs 45 crore. The team completed two shoot schedules in Morocco and Hyderabad. Its final shoot in Georgia has been completed as well. Apparently, the climax sequence is going to be grand – it will comprise 1000 junior artists as soldiers, 300 horses and 20 chariots.

Here’s what Krish had said to a leading portal –  “Rajamouli’s Baahubali has opened doors. We can now look at making films that we wouldn’t have dared earlier due to prohibitive budgets.” In the first schedule, they had shot a war sequence that appears before the interval, in the second schedule, they shot for a sequence that opens the film and of course, the last schedule had them shooting for the mighty grand climax. Moving from schedules to looks, Shriya Saran’s first look as Vaashishtha Devi had a regal air about her. She carried off the traditional yet royal look with elan and style. She simply looked stunning! This is the first time, she will be paired opposite the veteran actor. So fans are curious to see how their combination will work. Interestingly, another senior actor is teaming up with a gorgeous actress for the first time. We are talking about Khaidi no 150’s  lead pair Chiranjeevi and Kajal Aggarwal. Now another similarity between both movies is the release time – Both are set for a Sankranti release. So both actors set to clash at the box office? What a clash that will be! The much-awaited Naagin Season 2 finally airs on TV! The episode starts with a precap of what happened in the first season. After a gist of how Shivanya (Mouni Roy) and Hrithik (Arjun Bijlani) end up living happily ever after, the show takes a leap of 3 months. They are shown being chased by few people and are running for their lives. Shivanya falls in the forest somewhere and her tummy starts aching since she is pregnant. Hrithik diverts the people chasing them by throwing a stone in another direction and hugs Shivanya. She is writhing as he wonders why they are being chased by people. He takes her to the hospital where the doctor says that she is in labour.

Oh no, don’t be shocked yet! Shivanya gives birth to a baby girl and Hrithik stands outside the labour room confused. They are happy to be with their daughter and hope she doesn’t turn out to be a Naagin. They name her Shivangi. The show then takes a leap of 24 years and 11 months. Shivanya is a widow now and Shivangi is a Naagin but doesn’t know that she is one. The only way for Shivangi to never become a Naagin is to marry a human being which makes Shivanya worry about getting her married in a month. What’s hot!

I love the fact that they started the episode with a quick precap of what happened in the last season and also showed a little bit of Arjun Bijlani. (P.S. I’m a fan of his who is going to miss him in the show terribly) I was not left wondering why whatever is happening just happened. Yes, there is mystery but the makers revealed the important things making it easy for the viewers. Shivanya now lives with a set of relatives and their daughters. Karanvir Bohra does what he’s best at. The first episode was definitely a treat for all the girls out there since he was showing off his abs and biceps and that was actually his introduction. What was more interesting was the precap of tomorrow’s episode where we see Adaa Khan. Can’t wait to watch her in action!

What’s not!

Having followed Season 1 diligently, I was prepared to watch the most bizarre things that can only happen in your head when you are high. But Shivanya gives birth to kid who is twice the size of normal newborn kid and NOBODY bothers looking into how a 3-month-old pregnant woman can go into labour. If this had actually happened, it would have been all over the news no matter how small the town or village is. The makers have introduced most characters in the first episode itself and it seemed like it was going too fast.

Verdict: All said and done, the show is entertaining and gripping. Hopefully it will maintain it’s charm and keep the audience hooked for longer! I would definitely recommend this show.

Oh how much we’re waiting for Baahubali 2! Rana Daggubati has been in the news ever since he revealed his look for Baahubali 2. The actor’s fierce transformation took the internet by storm. The actor beefed up to 108-110 kgs to play the older version of Bhallala and lost weight to around 92-93 kgs to play the younger version of  Bhallala. The actor has been training for over 5 months. The actor’s mind-blowing transformation was appreciated not only by celebrities like Suriya and Akhil Akhineni but also his fans. Baahubali was one of the biggest movies made in India and the sequel is going to be equally thrilling and intriguing.

Well, even after taking all the necessary precautions, some pictures from the shoot got leaked and got us guessing about what to expect in Baahubali 2. This is director, S.S. Rajamouli’s special project and obviously, the director must have been baffled looking the leaked pictures. But this is exciting for all the fans out there who are waiting for more scoop on the movie. And not just Rana Daggubati but Anushka Shetty, too, looks fierce and beautiful in these leaked pictures of Baahubali 2. Why Katappa killed Baahubali is the biggest question of the year. Prabhas looks simple and at ease in the pictures. We’re guessing he is going be the simple, cheerful guy in the sequel who was betrayed by his most trusted people. The first look of this sequel will be out on 22nd October 2016 which was tweeted by the filmmaker himself. As for the movie, it is all set to release in April 2017. The movie stars Prabhas, Tamannaah Bhatia and Anushka Shetty among others. For all those crazy fans out there, the magnum opus doesn’t end with the two movies but is actually being converted into a multi-episode animated series and also comic books! There are also talks about a part 3 as well! Isn’t that exciting?

Farah Khan finally joins the show with all the X-Factor she has. She brings along 5 wild card entrants. Yep! There are 5 challengers on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, and they are all kids. To give a tough competition to the remaining 5 contestants on the dance reality show, 5 little dance champions have made an entry. And oh boy we can’t even sum up how talented all these new entries are.

First contestant is Teriya, who gives a fantabulous performance with a little classical touch to it. But this performance is merely the beginning, the rest of the performances blew our minds away.

Next up, Sawsti and Preetjot garner great praise from the judges. Ganesh wanted to give the duo full points, if only it was allowed. At this point Manish turns to the original remaining 5 contestants to take their case. All the contestants are clearly stressed about this new twist in the show. They all look visibly scared of all the chota packet bada dhamakas. Karishma quips why isn’t she allowed to go, and is made to sit there and watch such tough competition. Then came a ghani bawari performance by Gracy. Hands down, the best performance of the evening. Trust us, the performance was do damn good that all the contestants, jokingly, get up to leave the show. But host Manish Paul would not have it. He makes them sit bavk in their seats. While referring to Gracy’s expressions, Farah takes a dig at Deepika Padukone that the actress has never given a total of those expressions that Gracy gave in one performance. Manish asks audience to pick the better dancer between Gracy and Nora. Thankfully the results are a tie. Karan Johar compares Gracy with Kareena Kapoor’s character Geet from Jab We Met.

The makers of P.O.W Bandi Yuddh Ke unveiled the look of the show in a grand press conference in the city. Nikhil Advani’s Indian version of the acclaimed series Hatufim stars Purab Kohli and Satyadeep Mishra. The show will start from Diwali on Star Plus. Given the current political scenario in the country, the series seems to be made for the situation. The question of whether Pakistani artistes should be allowed to work in India also cropped up. When filmmaker Nikhil Advani was asked if the show cashes in on the situation he said, “Our show was decided two years earlier. What is happening now is uncanny and unfortunate. It is very sad. We want this hostility to end. Maybe you can ask our writers if they had foreseen this situation (jokes).”

When BollywoodLife asked him if he felt any sympathy for makers like Karan Johar whose films were stuck due to this fiasco and the political pressure to ban Pakistani artistes, he said,” I knew I would face this question. I have come prepared with my answer.  Karan is a great friend and mentor. However, I feel people should reflect on what Akshay Kumar tweeted two days back. He said people should first know the names of the 19 soldiers who died in the attack before talking about the ban.” In fact, Nikhil also showed us a piece of paper where he wrote all the names. Actor Manish Chaudhari who plays a national security head in the show opined that the decision to ban Pakistani artistes should be solely left to the armed forces of India. He stated that the average Indian was too far from the actual scenario to make a real judgement. Actress Amrita Puri who plays the role of Harleen Kaur on the show refused to comment. She enacts the role of a woman whose husband is in the Sikh regiment. He goes missing in the war and returns after 17 years. Nikhil Advani spent two years working on this ambitious project and hopes that it appeals to the Indian audiences. The show aims to bring forth a true sense of patriotism.

Rocky (Karanvir Bohra) comes back in the cave to see a dead wolf and a semi-conscious and shivering Shivangi (Mouni Roy). He ignores the wolf and wonders why he is so attracted to her and lifts her in his arms. He takes her out of the forest and they lie under a tree hugging each other. Shivangi asks Rocky to leave and he gets emotional. The police eventually find them and take them to their individual homes. Enter Sudha Chandran as Badi Maa but secretly she still is Yamini from Season 1. Rocky is clearly her favourite kid for selfish reasons obviously. Badi Maa has already fixed Rocky’s marriage with Ruchika aka Shesha aka Adaa Khan. Adaa Khan enters as Rocky’s fiance and a possessive lover. Shivangi, along with her sisters, goes to a disco to meet Aditya (her future fiance) and obviously, runs into Rocky and Ruchika over there. Ruchika asks the DJ to change the song when he flirts with her asking her to dance with him and asks him to meet outside for ‘doosra wala’ dance.

Aditya enters only to see Ruchika in her Naagin avatar as she is killing the DJ. A shocked Aditya runs away without meetin Shivangi. Rocky is busy flirting with Shivangi in Ruchika’s absence. He asks her to dance with him and she refuses. Meanwhile, Anand and his wife are wondering how Hrithik died. Hrithik’s death is the biggest mystery that will be revealed soon in the show. Anand recalls how Hrithik had left asking Anand to take care of his wife and children. He gives him a calendar saying 25 years later, something terrible will happen. Badi Maa surprises Rocky on his birthday by announcing his engagement as Shivangi agrees to marry Aditya. (ALSO READ: 10 secrets you didn’t know about Mouni Roy)

What’s hot!

Hrithik’s death, Yamini and Shesha’s intentions and Rocky’s actual avatar make the show gripping and keep the shock factor alive. It will be interesting to watch how Shivangi might turn into a Naagin despite Shivanya’s multiple attempts at keeping her away from it. Also, will Aditya accept her when he finds out about her? To add to the ‘What’s hot!’ Adaa Khan looks very sexy in her human form.

What’s not!

The story is going way too fast and the editing is done haphazardly. There is too much information given in a short time without focusing on one or two particular characters. There is a scene where Rocky asks Ruchika her age and she says she is 118 years old. He then sees her old form and is shocked. What a rip off! The scene has been inspired by popular English series, Game Of Thrones and being someone who has watched Game Of Thrones, I laughed at this one!

Verdict: I still recommend you watch the show. There is a lot mystery and more drama to happen in the forthcoming episodes!

Celeb kids have always been under constant scrutiny by fans and media from a very young age. Navya Nanda Naveli being the granddaughter of megastar Amitabh Bachchan has also been under the spotlight. There have been constant speculations of her gearing up for her Bollywood debut. But turns out, the young diva has no interest in pursuing a career in acting, at all. Shweta Nanda opened up about the repercussions that her daughter has to face due to the celebrity status assigned to her due to her relation with a family of actors. She also wrote strong words against her daughter  being objectified by the media. She says there is so much more to Navya, and that she as simple at heart as any other teenager. “My daughter Navya likes reading, the Kardashians, rajma chawal, curling up next to her Naani while watching TV, teasing her brother and counselling her friends when their hearts are broken.” Shweta wrote. Further talking about her interests she says that Navya has no “particular interest in acting or pursuing a career in acting as of now”. So there! Shweta Nanda clears the air once and for all. “She is generous and kind and bright, but these attributes don’t make fetching headlines!” the doting mother adds. Shweta is clearly upset over the constant headlines surrounding her career in acting.

Shweta also slams the people who take to the comments section to talk badly about her daughter. She says that she she sits there “helpless” reading the nasty comments. “Navya has a strong sense of self, so perhaps, it does not hurt her as much when in the comments section, people judge her, deride her, call her unattractive or scrawny. But you can well imagine what it would do to the self-esteem of a young, impressionable girl, who hasn’t asked to be thrust into the spotlight in this way.” she says. “I can write about it in the hope that the people peddling this nonsense have some shame or at least accountability, though I highly doubt they will. US’ Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump will address a rally of Hindu-Americans in New Jersey on October 15 and half of the proceedings from the event will be used for the benefit of Kashmiri Pandits. The founder of Republican Hindu Coalition (RHC) Shalabh Kumar today claimed that this is the first of its kind event where Trump is scheduled to address only one specific ethnic community. “…This is a charity concert organised for the benefit of terror victims in various countries…The 50 per cent of the proceeds from this concert will go for the benefit of Kashmiri Pandits in India,” Kumar told reporters here. Kumar is also Chairman of Indian American Advisory Council to the Republican Party.

Donald Trump, the controversial presidential nominee, is recently facing the ire of everyone around from Hollywwod actors like Robert DeNiro and Arnold Schwarzenegger to the resurfaced tapes where he is seen talking trash about the women, including his own daughter Ivanka Trump. CNN on Sunday released a radio show excerpt from September 2004 in which radio jockey – or ‘shock-jock’ – Howard Stern asks Trump whether he can refer to his daughter as a body part. To which Trump replies “yeah.” This revelation comes a mere two days after Trump faced the toughest test yet to his Presidential bid, when a 2005 video+ surfaced showing him making extraordinarily crass remarks about women.

In another recording, Stern can be heard telling Trump that his daughter is “more voluptuous than ever,” and asking him if she has gone under the knife. Trump’s response: “She’s actually always been very voluptuous…she’s tall, she’s almost six feet tall and she’s been…she’s an amazing beauty.”

In another recording, Trump can be heard responding with an unequivocal “Oh, absolutely” to Stern’s asking him whether he could be having sex with 24-year olds. “I have no problem,” he says. By his own admission, he was 60 at the time. And in yet another clip, the Republican nominee can be heard calling 30 the “perfect age” for a woman, and 35 “check-out time”, presumably meaning that that is when the relationship should be ended.

As was anticipated after a dismal day one figures, Mirzya failed to grow on its day 2 which in turn has helped MS Dhoni: The Untold Story in its collection, which saw an upward trend. Senior journalist Taran Adarsh tweeted the collection, “#Mirzya FAILS to witness growth on Day 2… DECLINED on Sat, after a DISMAL Fri… Fri 2.20 cr, Sat 2.10 cr. Total: ₹ 4.30 cr. India biz.” The movie two day total could not even touch Rs 5 crore. Amidst huge promotion and expectations, the Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra directed movie was released in 1700 screens across the domestic market on Oct. 7. Mirzya opened to a lukewarm response in both the single screens and Multiplexes and fetched disappointing numbers on Friday. The movie had collected Rs 2.20 crore nett at the Indian box office on the first day of its release.

The Harshvardhan Kapoor and Saiyami Kher starrer couldn’t do much at the box office as it received mostly negative reviews from the critics and even the word of mouth was negative. Mirzya is one of the most-talked Bollywood movies of 2016 and it was hyped for several good reasons. Firstly, the movie marked debut of Anil Kapoor’s son Harshvardhan Kapoor and actress Usha Kiran’s daughter Saiyami Kher. Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s direction, Gulzar’s story based on Mirza Sahiban’s folklore and its brilliant production values featured in its promos are some of other aspects for the hype. Our editor Tushar Joshi in the review had said, “Mehra’s biggest flaw in the film is his technique and narrative. The concept of two worlds, two parallel timelines, two different characters just doesn’t work. There are moments when you are drawn into the fantasy Mirzya world and want to stay there a bit longer, but a song or a background score comes out of nowhere taking you back into the real world. Neither here nor there, the film ends up being a case of too much flavour can sometimes spoil a good dish. Also Mehra doesn’t give Harshavardhan or Saiyami any big scene or moment to play up. Instead there are fleeting moments that have some spark. I can’t think of one big stand out scene in such a long film. The songs are great, but were they required at such regular intervals? The awkwardness between switching from one world to another finally gets to you and there is very little damage control that a director can do in his last 20 minutes. Mirzya despite being a hardcore love story doesn’t draw touch any emotional chord, because the emphasis is so much on the format and technical aspects that the writing takes a major backseat.”

After the dismal start and no growth on second day of it’s release, things are looking difficult for the film.

Anushka Sharma will be next seen in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. The film has created a positive buzz, a big thanks to its trailers and songs. The last song released was Channa Mereya. The melancholic melody talking about love and heartbreaks, has been picturised on Anushka and Ranbir Kapoor. The backdrop of the song is the wedding of character played by Anushka. Of course it required the actress to wear a gorgeous lehenga to look like a Bollywood bride. Anushka recently took to Instagram to share a snippet from the making of the song, and talks about the 17 kg lehenga she wore for the song and completely ignores to mention Manish Malhotra, the man behind designing the gorgeous outfit. Manish seems to have taken a serious offense over this as he took to comments section of the post to express his displeasure and take a dig at Anushka.

“I was wearing such heavy clothes that everyone felt sorry for me. Because it was like…oh God” Anushka says in the video. She further elaborates that she had to walk around in the lehenga that weighed around 17 kgs, and how it was very difficult for her. “I was looking like a beautiful bride, I was not feeling like a beautiful bride.” she concludes. Well, anyone would feel bad upon hearing such words about their creation. It was Manish’s turn to take a dig at Anushka after this video.

“You looked beautiful and made a stunning bride my dear” Manish wrote in the comments. Now, all seems fine with this comment, but wait for it…the real dope followed in the next comment by the ace designer. Taking an open dig at Anushka, Manish wrote “And thanks for not even tagging me or mentioning my name considering the passion love and hard work we put in the outfit (sic)” Now that is pure gold. Sarcasm in its very best form. And Manish does make a valid point. The credit to make an actress look like star goes to designers and stylists just as much as the actress. What character of a film would look alive on the screen, if their costumes didn’t match the part? Ouch! Manish Malhotra definitely felt pretty bad about it, naturally. The actress didn’t just snatch away the credit but was also complaining about the gem of a dress that she was privileged to wear. C’mon a mention in the description would have been a very responsible thing to do.

Ae Dil Hai Mushkil features Anushka, alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. From the trailer the movie looks stunningly beautiful. The songs of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil are all hit. They are trending on top on all charts. The movie is all set for a Diwali release. We heard from the industry-wallas Karan aimed at making the most ‘good-looking’ film Bollywood has seen in the longest time. From what the songs and trailer of the movie have revealed, he is halfway there. Rest we would be able to comment on once the movie releases.

Twitteratis are always on the edge of losing their cool and slamming celebrities. Priyanka Chopra becomes a victim to yet another social outburst and this time, it’s for the T-Shirt that she donned in cover of Condé Nast Traveller. The actress wore a top that said “Refugee, Immigrant, Outsider, Traveller” only to invite the wrath of the social media. Twitteratis immediately demanded an explanation to why she would wear that top. Though the actress has not reacted over it yet, people are losing it on social media. Priyanka Chopra’s top simply puts it out there that she is a traveller and loves to travel but a lot of people are calling it insensitive.

People called her insensitive and asked her if she could ever relate to refugees and that refugees don’t really have a choice. Some people even called her shallow on Twitter. PeeCee decided to don the top to make a statement about travellers. Little did she know that it would hurt people’s sentiments and send out a wrong message. Neither Priyanka Chopra nor the magazine has responded to the comments yet. But we’re guessing once the issues dials down, PeeCee will speak up since the actress has always given it back. Remember the whole armpit incident with Maxim? We’re waiting for the Quantico actress to clarify and speak about the issue.

Sonam Kapoor recently revealed on a chat show that she would like to play the Rebecca, aka the girl in green scarf, in the Bollywood version of Confessions of a Shopaholic but also thinks Kangana Ranaut would do a better job.

The 31-year-old fashion diva appeared on Neha Dhupia’s chat show, where she was asked who she would cast in the Bollywood adaptations of movies including the famous 2009 American film, Confessions of a Shopaholic. “(She’s) one of my favourite actresses. I would say me but again, I would say Kangana Ranaut,” the actor admitted.
The movie is romantic comedy based on the shopaholic series of novels by Sophie Kinsella, directed by PJ Hogan, the film stars Isla Fisher playing Rebecca Bloomwood, a shopaholic.

Sonam was also given other Hollywood movies to think on who, from Bollywood, would play the best roles.
For 50 Shades of Grey, her choice is Alia Bhatt and Siddharth Malhotra. “I haven’t seen the film and it was one of those books that I read and I’m sorry to say, I enjoyed it. It was so bad that it’s good! I actually like the characters a lot in that. Who looks virginal? Maybe Alia and for the boy, someone really hot. Siddharth!” she said.

For The Devil Wears Prada, the Neerja star imagined Shabana Azmi and Shraddha Kapoor sharing the screen as the notoriously practical Miranda Priestly and the young Andrea Sachs played by Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway respectively. “Obviously for Meryl Streep’s character, I would say Shabana Azmi because she is so brilliant and for Anne Hathaway’s character, I would say Shraddha Kapoor,” she said. The reason for Sonam choosing the 29-year-old actor was because she felt “Anne Hathaway has this vibe which Shraddha has and the Aashiqui 2 star is cute which Anne Hathaway totally is”.

Actor Varun Dhawan was in an accident earlier today. No don’t worry he is safe but it’s his car which is damaged. A Twitter user who witnessed the accident took to Twitter and laughed it out. The tweet read, “Just saw @Varun_dvn car dashed a honda city at juhu  10th road #VarunDhawan #accident @bombaytimes @timesofindia” He wouldn’t have thought that he’d get a reply from Varun Dhawan. Varun Dhawan didn’t take this mockery in stride and rightly so, he clarified that he had not been in the car while the incident occurred and that he’d come to help out his family member who, unfortunately had been in the car while it happened. Varun also said that his was the car that had got damaged. He tweeted, “The car that is damaged is my car. I had come to help someone in my family who had an accident.i suggest you shutup”. Varun Dhawan seemed very angry as he further tweeted, “@thelimuas you want to get famous  by making up things. Now your claim to fame is you got trolled by me #jackass.”

Varun Dhawan then responded to his fans’ concerned queries and revealing that there was no injury and his family was absolutely safe. On the work front, after the success of Dishoom, Varun Dhawan will be next seen in Badrinath Ki Dulhaniya, alongside Alia Bhatt. The film is next in series of Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania. And if the new film is anything to go by the previous one then we are sure it’s gonna be fun.

It’s festive time and celebrities are also taking time out to visit pandaals and attend Durga pujas. There is a lot of celeb spotting during festivals and our fashion police has the most fun during this time. Alia Bhatt, Kajol, Sushmita Sen, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan with the entire family and a lot of other celebrities. It’s a treat to the eyes to watch celebs all dressed up attending poojas. Ranbir Kapoor and Ayan Mukerji’s friendship is quite famous in the B-Town. In fact, once in an interview Ranbir said that he can take a bullet for Ayan. We spotted Ranbir attending a Durga pooja with best bud Ayan, and his family. The actor was dressed in a maroon kurta, and looked quite handsome. He also took out time to interact with a few fans.

Armaan Jain, who is Ranbir Kapoor’s cousin was also spotted at the pooja. He looked utterly handsome in a white kurta pyjama. He is killing it with the simple look! Ranbir and Ayan are teaming up for a superhero flick soon. The movie has been titled Dragon, and stars Alia Bhatt as the female lead. After Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff, Ranbir Kapoor will be joining the superhero brigade. The actor will also be seen in Jagga Jasoos with ex-girlfriend, Katrina Kaif and Ae Dil Hai Mushkil with Anushka Sharma and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan which will be releasing this Diwali. Ranveer Singh’s next release is Befikre. The steamy hot posters of the movie already have us excited. The trailer launch of Befikre will take place in Paris. At Eiffel Tower! We just found out something very interesting about Ranveer and Paris. The story of Befikre, primarily takes place in the city of love. And much like his character in the film, Ranveer is also a big fan of Paris. He even has a favourite restaurant, which he visits every time he is in the city, and the name of the place is Miss Ko.

Miss Ko is a beautiful neo-Asian themed restaurant. The interiors are spellbinding, and the food is utterly delicious, and ambiance is lively. There might be a strong reason why Ranveer has a soft spot for this place. Miss Ko is super funky, and has a crazy ambience. Their website reads “In the world of Miss Kō, nothing is normal, not even us. It’s contagious”. Okay! We know Ranveer’s energy is contagious as well. Maybe that’s why Ranveer and Miss Ko clicked. We also know what the actor’s favourite food there – CHEESECAKE! That was not even hard to guess! Who doesn’t like cheesecake? Looking forward to trying out the cheesecake at Miss Ko sometime soon.

Talking about Befikre, the film has been directed by Aditya Chopra. His last directorial was Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi starring Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma, and it was big hit. People are eagerly waiting to see his next work. So that is another reason everybody is looking forward to Befikre. Who else could catch the essence of Bollywood romance like Aditya himself. Also, we will get to see Vaani in a film after such a long time. She was last seen in Bollywood in her debut film Shuddh Desi Romance, alongside Parineeti Chopra and Sushant Singh Rajput. In all these years she only did one Tamil film, Aaha Kalyanam, which was a remake of Band Baajaa Baarat, that interestingly was Ranveer’s debut film. Talking about Ranveer we are really stoked up to see him in a glamorous role after Bajirao Mastani.

Yay! We just got the first glimpse of Bigg Boss season 10 first episode. Deepika Padukone will join host Salman Khan at the premiere of Bigg Boss 10 on October 16. The lady seems to be pretty thrilled and so is the team at Colors. We had earlier informed you that Deepika will kickstart the promotions of her Hollywood venture, xXx: The Return Of Xander Cage on Salman’s high voltage reality show. The actress recently shot for a promo for the same, Deepika looks hot in a revealing leather dress with a thigh high slit. Looks like Deepika will be promoting the film in her Serena avatar from the film. Her co-star Vin Diesel we hear will also be here in India soon. The actor already shot for the Bigg Boss promos in August ahead of his filming schedule. BollywoodLife in an EXCLUSIVE report revealed how the star is planning to take a paycut. Salman has chosen a different mode of payment and asked Colors to give a part of his remuneration as a contribution to his charitable foundation Being Human. The actor was initially planning to quit the show, but the makers managed to woo him back. Post Bigg Boss Salman will start work on his next film with Ali Abbas Zafar, Yash Raj Films’ Tiger Zinda Hai which is set to release in December 2017. Salman Khan is currently filming for Kabir Khan’s Tubelight in Manali. As soon as the news of Aditya Chopra directing a film came under the spotlight, fans couldn’t stop gushing about it. The film titled Befikre soon became the talk of the town and people were wondering who would be cast in Adi Chopra’s next. And as we know, Ranveer Singh and Vaani Kapoor have bagged the opportunity and with the latest bold teaser release, we are certain they are going to whip up a storm! Not to mention, their sizzling chemistry is evident.

So Vishal and Shekhar announced their collaboration with the film in a short video in which they shared their excitement to be a part of the ace-director’s team. The crew had already begun their preparations for the music. The songs are choreographed by none other than Vaibhavi Merchant and as per her the songs would be never seen before. The songs were shot in breathtaking locations which will really add an edge to the entire film, upon its release.

When sometime back BollywoodLife had exclusively gotten in touch with Vaibhavi Merchant, she had spilled the beans about Befikre. She told us, she was leaving for a schedule for Befikre. She further discussed about the preparations of Befikre. Here’s what she had told us when th shoot of Befikre was on, “I can’t really talk much about it right now but all the songs are planned to be shot overseas. We may have reached October but we still have a few exciting movies to watch for till the end of 2016. Aditya Chopra’s Befikre is one such movie, that all the romantics at heart are quite waiting to watch in theatres. After all it is directed by the man who gave Bollywood one of its most epic romances in Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge. However, Befikre stars not Shah Rukh Khan, but Ranveer Singh and Vaani Kapoor in the lead. The romantic drama is a said to be an ode to Aditya Chopra’s father, the late master director Yash Chopra, who is often called the auteur of romance. The film has already grabbed enough eye-balls thanks to the kissy kissy posters, where Ranveer and Vaani are seeing engaging in passionate, playful and romantic kissing in all posters that are taken at various places in Paris. The film is reported to have more than 20 kisses in the film. Wow! That could be a record when it comes Bollywood movies, is it?

Anyways, the film is set in Paris so the it is apt that the trailer launch of the film also happens to be in the city of love and romance. Not just any place in Paris, but in front of Eiffel Tower, often said to be the monument of love. Both Ranveer and Vaani Kapoor have arrived at the venue. Paris is also known for fashion sense so the stars have done complete justice to their style statement. Ranveer has worn a three-piece suit that’s designed by Rohit Gandhi and Rahul Khanna. Aditya Chopra is back! And he is still that young romantic at heart, the touches of which we have seen in his past films like Mohabbatein, Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi and of course, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, the biggest romantic movie of all time. He also penned Dil Toh Pagal Hain, Veer Zaara and Jab Tak Hai Jaan, so there’s that as well. Though all his past movies had Shah Rukh Khan in the lead, Befikre has Ranveer Singh and Vaani Kapoor in the lead. Interestingly, both the stars were given the big break by Aditya Chopra through Band Baaja Baaraat and Shuddh Desi Romance respectively. This is the first time Ranveer and Vaani are paired together in a film. The film is said to be a vibrant young romantic movie that is about two young people meeting in the city and falling in not in love, but hours of playful sex and flirting. The film’s music is composed by Vishal Shekhar  and you could hear the title song, that sounds so casual and energetic. With the anticipation of the Befikre trailer, Ranveer Singh has been posting quite a lot of videos on his Twitter timeline. Knowing the man so well, we also realise that each of his videos has his quirky taste of doing nothing normal per se. Ranveer Singh and Vaani Kapoor are now in Paris for the trailer launch of the film.

What’s hot

After a long time have we seen such a fresh pair looking so hot and setting the screen on fire. Ranveer Singh and Vaani Kapoor are looking absolutely ravishing in the Befikre trailer, as they have gone bold beyond everyone’s expectations. With the amount of kissing and lovemaking scenes in the film, we are sure the film will work well with the masses and the classes. And in those chic clothes, they are just smoking hot. After Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, which was more of a mature love story, it’s great to see Aditya Chopra handle such a young love story. Seeing Ranveer in that skimpy underwear strutting it off was a hoot. Aditya Chopra even took  a dig at his own pathbreaking movie, DDLJ towards the end, which is so with the times.

What’s not

We can’t find much to complain here, but if you expect something on the lines of Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, you might be disappointed!
