While Arjun Kapoor–Ranveer Singh and Varun Dhawan-Sidharth Malhotra’s friendship is well known not many are aware of the bonding Arjun shares with childhood buddy, Varun Dhawan. On tonight’s episode of Yaaron Ki Baraat on ZEE TV, Sajid Khan and Riteish Deshmukh brought out their friendship before fans in a fun-filled manner. While Varun looked dapper in denims, a blue shirt and a leather jacket, Arjun rocked his smart semi-formal look in a blue t-shirt and jacket. The two made a rather unusual entry with brooms.
Both are born into film families and it’s no surprise that they have grown up attending the same birthday parties and get togethers. As they grew up together, Arjun revealed that he was thick with Varun’s elder brother but it was only when the two joined Barry John’s acting studio that their friendship grew. Talking about their early struggle days, Arjun shared that Varun was an extrovert and would interact with everybody in class, especially all the girls. While Arjun was the introvert who would only sit and see Varun charm his way into all the girls’ hearts.

Did you know that Varun Dhawan had collaborated with Arjun Kapoor for a film called White Mountain (which they do not endorse today) way before they entered Bollywood ? What’s more, Varun was Arjun’s director in the film which is why he calls him guruji.
# Arjun and Varun used to like the same girl in their acting school
Arjun revealed that Varun was very extrovert and outspoken when it came to flirting with girls. While Arjun who seems very confident today, Varun told, used to be very shy as a teen. They both used to like the same girl in their acting school and because Varun was a pro he asked her out for a dance. But, she refused his proposal and said that she loves Arjun!
# David Dhawan made Varun Dhawan cry on the first day of his shoot
Varun Dhawan had got badly hurt on the first day of his shoot. He couldn’t bear the pain which is why he started crying. His father and veteran director, David Dhawan, scolded him for crying and asked him to leave the set. His brother came and told him then, that on the sets he is not his father but only a director. This when he learnt his first lesson.
# Arjun’s mother died before the release of his first film Ishqzaade
Very few people know about this that Arjun’s mother, Mona Shourie Kapoor, died before the release of his first film Ishqzaade. Sadly she couldn’t live long enough to see him getting all the success.
# Varun and Arjun’s marriage dates
When asked about his marriage plans, Varun quipped that his girlfriend his not sure about him. But he later said that he might get married within the next two years. He even insisted Arjun Kapoor to get married. But, Arjun avoided it saying he hasn’t found the right person yet.
