When Baahubali: The Beginning’s first ever look was out, there wasn’t as much fanfare around it, but it did create curiosity. Because SS Rajamouli released a picture of a baby boy held by a hand whose body was submerged in water. The Tweet read: He has to fulfil his destiny, come what may!!!#LiveTheEpic#TheDestinedOne. Who was this boy? What was his destiny? What was he meant to be? The genius filmmaker also explained the reason for this first look – Every story has ONE single moment at its core which defines & drives the entire plot What follows is the HEART of #Baahubali the beginning. Little did people know, this magnum opus would change the face of cinema. It would go on to be the highest grossing south film. Little did fans know, they would be left with a question that would be answered only in the next part!
After the success of the first part, look at the kind of reception the second part has received, the first ever sneak peak was unveiled in a grand launch with most of the cast present – SS Rajamouli, Rana Daggubati, Prabhas, Tamannaah Bhatia. And now the Baahubali 2 first look is about the one and only Prabhas. While the first showed us Prabhas the baby, we know see before us the full grown fearless warrior who just might avenge his father’s death. He has worked on that impressive physique for years now, as SS Rajamouli revealed today at the MAMI movie meal discussion. It was not an overnight process.

So which look did you like better? Also, was the second look exactly what you expected or were you taken off guard? And looks like, the first looks from both parts have come a full circle as they first showed us Prabhas the infant to now the fearless warrior! Also when Baahubali released its first look, the posters of all the characters were released one after the other, will they do the same with Baahubali 2? Although we are now familiar with the characters, it would be awesome to see what their look will be like in the sequel.Considering the sequel is going to be grander, we can expect some fancy garb and armour.
Well for now, we only have this sneak peek to hold on to until the trailer releases in Jan 2017. Now that’s a looong wait. The movie is officially set for release on April 28,, 2017. Stay tuned for more updates on Baahubali 2!
