Day 4 in BB08 Airlines was high on drama. The arguments and the infamous bitching in the Bigg Boss house have already begun among the contestants. Interestingly, they had to nominate each other in this episode and we must say the procedure added the much needed masala to the show. Here’s taking a look at some highlights that made this episode of Bigg Boss 8 engaging and fun.

Gautam Gulati and Diandra Soares blooming romance irk other contestants

Gautam and Diandra’s proximity has become a point of discussion amongst other yatris. Some contestants like Karishma Tanna, Upen Patel and Soni Singh raised questions on the couple’s relationship. While Diandra chose to ignore the gossip in the BB house, Gautam wanted to know who those gossip mongers were.

Secret society punish Gautam and Sonali

Speaking in Hindi and not sleeping during the day are two very important rules in the BB house. The two ‘mahaan’ (as referred by the secret society) contestants to break these rules were Gautam and Sonali Raut. Sonali was caught conversing in English and Gautam was found taking a nap. The SS punished the two yatris and asked them to stand on the airplane wings. They were debarred from speaking to anyone and vice versa. Now that’s harsh SS, we must say!

Nominations create a stir

This was the most dreaded moment in the house of horrors. The 12 contestants had to nominate each other. Natasha Stankovic (6 votes) and Sukirti Kandpal (5 votes) were nominated by the yatris. However, the secret society also sent Gautam and Sonali in the danger zone. Reason being they found Diandra’s ‘cute-heart’ and Sonali’s behavior inappropriate and arrogant.

The dude who hails from a well off family was in a relationship with this actress, but he was also dating his co-star at the same time. When the truth came out the actress dumped the dude and walked away and swore never to get in touch.

According to sources, both the actors have made peace with each other and decided to superficially renew their relationship. Well this time they have decided to be friends with benefits. The two actors, who were all set to marry at some point in time, have now opted to enjoy their friendship as long as it lasts.

The couple who is busy with their respective shows often meet during their day off.

If you like watching horror genre films despite the fact that you get scared easily then 3 A.M. will give you goosebumps but not too many…

What’s it about: The film basically revolves around three childhood friends who are colleagues as well. Sunny (Rannvijay Singh Singha) is a successful reality TV show host and his buddies Raj (Kevin Dave) and Cyrus (Salil Acharya) are producers. At the success party of their show, Sunny proposes to her long time girlfriend Sarah(Anindita Nayar). His life is perfect untill Sarah is found dead at Rudra mills – The most haunted place in the country. Sunny is shattered but he decides to start a new horror reality show along with his two friends. With this show, he wants to prove that ghosts do exit. So Sunny, Raj and Cyrus then head off to the infamous Rudra mills to capture paranormal activities. As the clock strikes 3 A.M. (which is known as Devil’s hour), things aren’t the same, the three friends are terrorized and one of them gets possessed by an evil spirit. So do Sunny and his friends survive the night? Or do they get killed? Well, you have to watch the film for that.

What’s hot: While the first half is hardly spooky, there is loads to watch out in the second half. Some of the scenes are indeed spine chilling. Also, Rannvijay, Kevin and Salil have played their parts well. However, Kevin and Salil do steal away show with performances. Though it’s a horror flick, there are few comic punches which are really funny and original and Kevin Dave mouths them to perfection with his bang on comic timing. As for Salil, lets just say he should do more horror films. Also, the music isn’t bad.

What’s not: I wish the script was as good as some of the performances in the film. While the first half was hardly spooky, the second half started with a bang and managed to keep me on the edge of my seat, but not for too long. Some of scenes reminded me of quite a few Hollywood flicks like The Conjuring, Exorcism of Emily Rose, Insidious, Insidious 2 and lastly Sixth Sense. Since I am a horror movie buff, I feel this film could have been better if the script was tighter and sharp. Also, there were quite a few moments when I regretted entering the theater.

Verdict: As I said earlier, if you get scared easily then watch this film and have fun. And the rest of you, well watch it if you have nothing else to do this weekend!

BollywoodLife caught with Rajan Shahi to confirm rumours about his next project for Star Plus. The director confirms the story and reveals the sub plot of the show. He said, “Yes, I am doing another show for Star Plus. I am already mid way through it. We’ve shot 15 episodes till now. The story spans three cities – Mumbai, Paris and another city that I don’t want to reveal now.”

Well that definitely sounds interesting. But will this be similar to the movies that have been based on three cities like London Paris New York, Hum Tum, and a few others? “(Laughs) Frankly, I cannot talk about that now. It’s a different concept and I really do not want to reveal anything about it now,” replies Rajan.

Well looks like this one is going to be very interesting and very hatke from all his previous shows, right BollywoodLifers?

In fact, I was offered Bigg Boss three times, but I was always busy with some shoot or was travelling and could never be a part of it,” said Anuj.

So who are you rooting for this time in the controversial house? “I had a lot of friends in the house last year. I haven’t got much time to catch up with it, but I do watch BB8 whenever I can. I watch the show for Karishma Tanna. I know her the most compared to anyone else,” concludes Anuj.

Puneet has entered BB08 Airlines after being thrown out of the Secret Society

Tonight’s episode of Bigg Boss 8 will mark the entry of Puneet Issar in the BB08 Airlines. With lights going out and smoke covering the ground around the flight, suspense will grip the passengers as Puneet will make a larger than life and dramatic entry into the house. He will be welcomed with loud shouts and cheers.

After entering the flight, Puneet wouldn’t stop praising Praneet for his patience and his chai making skills. He will tell him, “I was so tired of having the tea that was served in the Secret Society chambers that every time I saw you making chai, my mouth would water..” Amongst other things he will also praise him for his cheerful demeanor and carrying on with his Shakuni look without any complaints. Only time will tell whether Shakuni will control Duryodhan or vice versa..

Being with the Secret Society, Puneet was keeping an eye on the passengers, noticing their every move and action. Giving reference of Mahabharat, he will referer to each passenger as a character from the mythological series , where Upen Patel seems like Arjun, Gautam Gulati like Karan, Arya Babbar on the other hand resembles Bheem. Sushant Divgikar is similar to Nakul and Praneet bwould suit better as Yudhisthir. He will end by referring to himself as Bheeshma Pitamaha. Hmmmm. Interesting.

Farhan Akhtar was challenged to wear the skydiving jumpsuit from Zindagi na Milegi Dobara and cycle around the town. Farhan finished the deed with elan. He even stopped at places to chit chat with people walking on the streets. However, with his suit and headgear and his moustached look people were hardly able to recognise him and that saved him from getting mobbed.

And it was a close fight between Sukirti and Sonali. However, 34 percent of our readers feel that it should be Sukirti who should leave the BB08 Airlines.

The viewers got to witness the first nomination in last night’s (September 25) episode of Bigg Boss 8. And it was super dramatic as all the contestants had to burn the picture of the person they were nominating. While Natasa and Sukirti entered the danger zone because of the contestant’s votes, Gautam and Sonali were nominated directly by the Secret Society.

Certain reports claim that Deepika was to star opposite Ranveer Singh in Shaad Ali’s next

Yes, you read that right! Before signing Parineeti Chopra for Shaad Ali’s Kill Dil, the makers had initially approached Deepika Padukone for this upcoming romantic action film. As reported by an entertainment portal, The Happy New Year actress was to star opposite Ranveer Singh in the film. However, the makers later zeroed in on Pari to play the role.

While Parineeti had made her film debut with Ranveer in Ladies vs Ricky Bahl, Deepika has given one of her biggest hits Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela with Mr Singh. The real reason behind Ms Padukone turning down the film still remains a mystery. However, if she would have accepted the role, wethinks the couple would have sizzled on the big screen yet again after doing Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s adaptation of Romeo and Juliet.

None the less, Pari and Ranveer are looking fab in the trailer as well as on the film posters. We truly can’t wait to see the film, how about you peeps?

Actress Kristen Stewart is reportedly dating Nicholas Hoult, her co-star in upcoming movie Equals.

The rumours went rife after Stewart was seen getting cosy with Hoult on the film’s set, reports hollywoodlife.com.

“Kristen and Nick (Nicholas) are inseparable. They are constantly hanging out together when they aren’t on set. They’ve really bonded with each other and are like best friends now. It wouldn’t surprise any if us if it turns into something more serious, something romantic,” said a source.

“When Kristen is on location for long periods of time, she usually has a good friend come stay with her but not this time because she has Nick,” the source added.

The rumoured couple also likes to play pranks on the film crew.

“They love playing practical jokes on the cast and crew, playing pool, just exploring and hanging out,” said the source.

The Ekkees Toppon Ki Salaami actor has teamed up with Kher for the second time after Chashme Baddoor

Actor Divyendu Sharma says it is a privilege to work with Anupam Kher, who is playing his on screen father in the upcoming film Ekkees Toppon Ki Salaami.

The Pyaar Ka Punchnama star has teamed up with Kher for the second time after Chashme Baddoor.

“It’s always a pleasure to work with Anupam Kher. In fact, it’s a treat to share screen space with him. He’s a very spontaneous and cooperative co-actor. It’s always very organic when you are acting with him,” Divyendu told PTI.

‘Ekkees Toppon ki Salaami’, releasing on October 10, is about a son’s journey of getting recognition for his father in the society.

In the Ravindra Gautam-directed film, they would be seen having conflicting views about life.

“The father and son both have very different point of views. He has his own reasons and his father has his own reasons to not to like each other. My character realises his father’s worth only after his death,” Divyendu said.

Divyendu started his career with bromance Pyaar Ka Punchnama and then he starred in David Dhawan’s buddy comedy Chashme Baddoor.

The two film old actor says it’s a conscious decision to star in Ekkees Toppon ki Salaami to breakfree of his previous image.

“The basic idea for every actor is to keep doing something new as no one wants to be stuck to one genre. I wanted to show people the other side of me as an actor. Ekkees Topon Ki Salami was just the right blend of things for me,” he said.

The Delhi-born actor, who started his career as a theatre artiste, is happy to have made a mark for himself in Bollywood.

“It’s difficult because when you come to Bombay, you don’t know what to do and whom to meet… But after two years, you start understanding the structure. I feel after your first film it’s only your merit which speaks. If you have something in you, people will like you and offer work,” he said.

The actor would be seen in thriller Zaalim Dill next, where he will be working with Jackie Shroff.

Suheena is about to face her tryst with fate as she juggles her choices.

Suheena (Karishma Sharma), a 12th grader from a small town of Rohtak is in a relationship for the last nine years with her childhood buddy, Ranvijay (Vikas Grover). Her life is plain and simple as Ranvijay has his plans ready for their future together. He is not very ambitious and does not believe much in academic achievements. Ranvijay has a strong belief that on the job training is indeed the real learning and college degrees are just a piece of paper. He is all set to join his family business right after junior college and settle down with Suheena. But Suheena’s father is not of the same opinion. He wants his daughter to finish her education and explore the world before being tied down with responsibilities. So he decides to sends Suheena to Mumbai – expose her to the world outside, over a mass congregation of Navratri, so that she gets her first taste of the world outside of their small town. That is when destiny plays its role and Suheena finds a new friend, Amar (Yuvraj Thakur) in the big city!

Here is what happened tonight at the BB 8 house

Tonight’s episode of Bigg Boss 8 was certainly full of drama as one member of the Secret Society, Puneet Issar, joined the other 12 contestants in the BB08 Airlines. It will so happened that Bigg Boss asked the Secret Society to choose a weakling amongst themselves and they picked Puneet.

And naturally, being sent into the flight, Puneet has now become an ordinary passenger losing all control and immunity granted otherwise to a Secret Society member by Bigg Boss. Puneet was be thrown out of the Secret Society on the grounds of being more empathetic towards the contestants and renouncing the punishments and decisions. While Deepshika and Pritam continued to be members of the Secret Society, controlling the passengers, Puneet would now continue his journey as a member on the flight.

With lights going out and smoke covering the ground around the flight, Puneet Issar made a larger than life and dramatic entry. Puneet was welcomed with loud shouts and cheers. While other passenger did not know of him and they will be eager to know him, Arya and Minisha have had the experience of knowing Puneet from before. In spite of his familiarity, the feeling of uncertainty will grip Arya as he later doubts the purpose of Puneet being sent down to travel this journey with the rest of them. Hmmm.

Also everyone celebrated the birthday of Praneet Bhatt in the Bigg Boss house. Bigg Boss had kept a cake specially for Praneet and everyone sang the birthday song for him and fed him with the cake.

Director Gautham Menon and his team will be heading to the land of biriyanis to film an important part of Thala 55

The latest update on Thala55 is that the team is heading to Hyderabad in the first week of October for the last schedule of the flick. Apparently, Gautham Menon has working hard to complete the movie in time to release before the year end. Once the Hyderabad schedule is over, the team will head back to Chennai and after that the post production work will start.

The team will be in Hyderabad for about 15 days and they are apparently set to shoot scenes with Anushka Shetty. Thala55 stars Ajith, Anushka and Trisha in lead roles as stated earlier.

Ajith and the crew just recently returned from Sikkim where they had shot scenes between him and a small child. They also shot one song in Shimla. With the film’s first look out, the fans are expecting to catch Thala on big screen soon. If everything goes as per plan, we might see Ajith and Trisha together onscreen before end of the year.

Sonali Raut has been shown the exit door of BBO8 Airlines. And honestly, we are quite surprised. Sonali was indeed one of the strong contenders with the potential of providing a lot of drama in the high voltage reality show. Her mild fights with Arya Babbar were a proof of it.

While she gelled with the other contestants, the Secret Society found her behaviour quite inappropriate because of which through the special advantages given to them by Bigg Boss, they directly sent her in the danger zone.

And quite surprisingly even the viewers didn’t save her, as she received less number of votes, thereby becoming the first celebrity to leave the glass walled house.

The veteran singer shares his excitement on the digital restoration of Telugu cult classic which made his career

The digitally restored Tamil dubbed version of Telugu cult classic Sankarabharanam is slated for release in October. Playback singer SP Balasubrahmanyam aka SPB, who had crooned all the songs in the film, says that it’s an epic journey of his life.

Directed by K Vishwanath, Sankarabharanam released in 1980. ”The number of hours I have spoken about Sankarabharanam over 30 years would run into infinity and this is an epic journey in my life,” SPB said in a statement.

Recalling how he got an opportunity to sing in the film, SPB said, “I still remember the time when the film was shot in Telugu; my brother-like filmmaker K Vishwanath narrated the story to my father at my home. He requested my father to ask me if I could record the songs for this film before other tracks”.

“At that time, I was recording for around 4-5 songs a day. When Vishwanath wanted me to croon the numbers, I openly confessed that I’m not expert in classical genre and someone else than me would do complete justice,” he added.

It was Vishwanath’s assistant Pugazhenthi who trained SPB in classical music. ”I used to hear the songs recorded in the voice of Pugazhenthi relentlessly to get used to the track and then recorded the tracks,” said SPB.

Sankarabharanam is a very special film for the playback singer as it won his first National award. He feels that the film dubbed in Tamil with digital restoration will be a delightful experience for the present generation of audience. The film features late actor JV Somayajulu, Manju Bhargavi and Chandra Mohan in the lead roles.
