This Farhan Akhtar-Amitabh Bachchan movie is creating a lot of buzz all thanks to its dhamakedaar teasers…

Amitabh Bachchan and Farhan Akhtar maybe coming onscreen together for the first time in Wazir, but the two have worked previously—in Lakshya. Similarly, John Abraham and Neil Nitin Mukesh will be coming together onscreen for the third time in Wazir. The two actors have an important cameo in the Amitabh Bachchan-Farhan Akhtar starrer film. Interesting, hai na?

Neil and John have previously played the best of friends in Kabir Khan’s New York. They were once again together in Saat Khoon Maaf, where both played husbands to Priyanka Chopra. Now they will be seen again in Wazir.

While Neil plays the character with the grey shade and will be seen pertinently as the villain of the movie, on the other hand John will be seen as a fellow ATS officer of Farhan Akhtar. From what the promo looks like John’s character might die in the due course of the movie and that may be the instigating factor for Farhan to go up against Neil. To add to this, Farhan’s wife Aditi Rao Hydari was also murdered by Neil. So a lot of hurt on Farhan’s perspective and a lot of angst against Neil.

Nargis Fakhri is on a holiday in Kenya, where she met the only ‘eligible’ male around for miles, it seems. He is sturdy, strong and intimidating, and people travel from various countries just to have a glimpse of him. Apparently, like a typical love story, the Rockstar actress was scared of him first, but soon warmed up to him. She even tweeted a picture of hers cosying up with ‘him’. His name is Sudan!

Nargis admirers and secret lovers, need not worry! The ‘love’ she was referring to is a Northern White Rhinoceros, found in the famous Ol Pejeta Conservancy in Kenya.

Sudan is the only male in his rare species, which only has five members, sadly. Therefore, great protective measure have been placed to ensure the safety of the animal from poaching, and natural diseases. In March 2015, an initiative was started to bring celebrities all over the world to visit Sudan, so as to generate maximum revenue to save the last surviving male.

Nargis is the first star to visit this place to save the animal and bring more recognition to the project, so this trip wasn’t exactly a holiday for her – She is a part of a global campaign to help protect Sudan.

The film is the launch pad for Tina Ahuja…

A huge star in Punjab and a new star in the reckoning come together for the funniest romcom this season. Second Hand Husband marks the Hindi film debut of the ‘Desi Rockstar’ from Punjab, Gippy Grewal, and also is a launchpad for Govinda’s daughter, Tina Ahuja. A quirky family comedy about marriages, divorces and everything in the middle, the movie also stars Dharmendra, Rati Agnihotri, Ravi Kishan, Geeta Basra, Sanjay Mishra and Vijay Raaz.

The trailer of the film was launched recently with much fanfare with the cast in attendance. Before the launch, Gippy and Tina touched veteran superstar (and their co-star) Dharmendra’s feet and sought his blessings. Dharmendra, who plays a flirtatious yet lovable character in the film regaled everyone with his shayari (poetry) and his tongue in cheek one liners. The trailer launch also saw other celebrities who came in to support the film. Govinda walked in with daughter Tina and was extremely emotional to see the trailer. Kapil Sharma also attended the trailer launch to support his good friend Gippy’s Hindi film debut.

All eyes will be on Gippy, the superstar of Punjabi cinema, whose films have not only broken records in India but have also become blockbusters in international markets like USA, Canada, London and Australia. His singing skills are no less popular and Hindi movie buffs will remember his Angrezi Beat from the film, Cocktail. Says Gippy, “I’m very excited about Second Hand Husband. I feel very blessed to have received the love and support of my fans for my Punjabi films and music. I hope it keeps growing as I make my debut in Hindi films.”

Second Hand Husband also marks the debut of Govinda’s daughter, Tina Ahuja. “Like any newcomer, I am both excited and nervous as my film comes to release. I’m aware that there will be a lot of comparisons with my father but I just hope audiences like me for who I am,” says Tina. Second Hand Husband has been directed by Smeep Kang and produced by Gakhal Brothers Entertainment. Says Amolak Singh of Gakhal Brothers, “Our film is a fun story with a fresh pairing. I am sure everyone will love the chemistry between our very talented lead actors.”

Two days ago a news from Goa shook Bollywood and seems like it will continue to haunt the industrywallahs for sometime now…

An actress who has worked in films of Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar was recently arrested from a five star hotel in Goa in a prostitution racket case. According to reports the actress who has worked in Hindi and Telugu films was arrested along with Ayesha Sayyed a 30-year-old Mumbai resident, who is said to be the mastermind behind this racket.

The Panji police had planted a dummy customer to bust this prostitution racket. Reports also suggest that Ayesha had demanded 3 lakh for the actress out of which 50 percent of the money was paid as advance. When Ayesha arrived with the girls in Goa, the cops along with an NGO carried out the raid. The actress was sent to a remand and will be released and sent back to her mother after completing the procedures. While Sayyed has been arrested. Ayesha has already applied for a bail. A police case has been registered against Sayyed under Section 4, 5 and 6 of Immoral Trafficking Act.

The unnamed actress’ mother spoke to a leading daily and claimed her daughter was innocent and has nothing to do with flesh trade. This heroine’s mother told the daily that her daughter was clueless about Sayyed’s activities and added, “My daughter was approached by a lady about an audition in Goa.”

The actress in question has not only worked in Salman Khan’s Dabangg, but was also a part of Akshay Kumar’s OMG! (Oh My God!) Not so long ago National Award winning actress Shweta Basu Prasad also found herself in a similar situation last year in Hyderabad. However, she denied all allegations and said that she was misquoted. Shweta also found support in her onscreen mother Sakshi Tanwar who spoke up for the young girl while everyone else stayed mum. Another Telugu actress Divya Sri also was in news recently for her alleged involvement in prostitution racket.

While the sets are getting fired up with more and more performances, the celeb entries are only adding fuel to this fire. While almost everyone has landed in Malaysia for the grand night, Shahid Kapoor’s late entry made us take note. We expected a very cool and hot actor to serenade everyone at the airport but it seems Shahid wasn’t in the mood. If we consider his many sweltering clicks on Instagram, this hoodie look is so not happening Shahid!

Yes, we know you need to keep it comfortable during the journey but hiding your fabulously carved muscles behind those clothes is a sin. His Instagram clicks were jaw-dropping hot. If the towel hung dangerously around his waist soared the heat, the many debonair clicks made us gush. Plus, his muscles on full display on his account really can inspire the boys to get that look.

Jackky Bhagnani’s last release Welcome To Karachi couldn’t do that well at the box office. However, the actor received a lot of praise for his funny Gujarati act. He has been facing similar response from the audiences and critics since his past few films all of which have been backed by his father Vashu Bhagnani. So why does the actor always pick up such scripts? Why does he work with his dad’s banner always? We ask…

The actor says, “Yes, I feel I have a responsibility towards my home production. They are the banner which launched me. So whenever they need me, I will always try and make time out for them. Welcome To Karachi also happened in the same way. Just three days before the release, Irrfan Khan sir decided to walk out of the film. He was having some issues with the dates and all and it was understood as well. So in such a short period of time who could be fit in the character? Obviously, I was a part of the production team which did all the pre-production work for the film. So I knew the character inside out. So naturally the production house approached me and I was happy to fill in the shoes. It is true that dad backs all of my projects. After all he’s my dad and would want my work to come forward to the world. But yes, sometimes I feel because of that other filmmakers don’t approach me that much.”

Well that’s true for all sons and daughters in the film industry whose parents are established producers. We definitely hope to see Jackky coming out of the shell in flying colors and do a film with some other production house. We hope that day will be the real test of his acting skills. The female-oriented masala flick is produced by the lead actress herself.

Puri Jagannadh’s fans were surprised when he announced his next flick will be a female-oriented one, with Charmme Kaur in the lead. This was a unique project for the man who helmed several testosterone-driven blockbusters like The Businessman and Temper, and who has even directed Amitabh Bachchan in the actioner Bbudah Hoga Tera Baap. This movie, Jyothi Lakshmi, will be presented by the heroine, Charmme herself.

However, the trailer of the film released a couple of days ago, kind of dampened the expectations of his fans, with its loud, garish, seen-before visuals. Charmme plays a prostitute who falls in love with an outsider, and leaves her old profession behind, only for her past to catch up with her. Now that’s what we are were able to catch from the promo, and that has already been a plot for several other flicks, most notably being the Sanjay Dutt-starrer Sadak. I do hope the maverick hit-maker has something different to say in the final product, though nothing of that sort is visible in the released trailer.

The movie has got a U/A rating with the director tweeting about the same. He also confirmed the release date being 12th of June.

The filmmaker went all out to recreate the festive season of Diwali while shooting for the film

Director Mohit Suri took the vibe of festival of lights Diwali to Dubai for a scene for his forthcoming film Hamari Adhuri Kahani. Suri says after the sequence the crew felt like they were at home.

The director decked up a hotel in Dubai for a sequence which required a romantic setting as the film’s lead actor Emraan Hashmi professed his love for Vidya Balan in the scene.

Suri recreated Diwali and also got firecrackers for the shoot. Post the shoot, the entire team bonded with each other and they even got the hotel staff to celebrate this sequence with them, read a statement.

“The team had worked really hard to light up the entire hotel and had organised firecrackers too. It was feeling like Diwali that night. Vidya was trying her hand at rangoli, fully dressed in a traditional attire. We were shooting our song ‘Humnava’ and the script demanded that it was Diwali,” Suri said in a statement.

The director added that the “entire Indian crew felt closer to home as they had shot for a long time outside India”.

“We bonded post the shoot. The entire crew chilled together. It was great that the entire team that believed in the story, the film were hanging out. It was a nice moment for us all,” he said.

The film is a love story that tries to define the true meaning of loving someone selflessly. It also stars Rajkumar Rao and will hit theatres on June 12.

The 16th edition of the IIFA awards kick started yesterday with a formal business forum and moved into an evening of fun, fashion and music with IIFA Music and Fashion Extravaganza, popularly called the IIFA Rocks. Playing host to the show were actors Parineeti Chopra and Ayushmann Khurrana. Wearing a one-shoulder Gaurav Gupta gown, Pari looked simply fab. But there was something else that caught our attention more than anything else… her sunken cheeks and lean figure.

A few months ago, when the actress was doing city tours for Daawat-e-Ishq which also starred Aditya Roy Kapur, Parineeti had a visibly fuller face and a not-so-lean figure.

The actor will be seen doing a taandav in the upcoming song Mai Teri Chunariya in the dance film. It is the performance of a lifetime and here is all you need to expect from it!

Varun Dhawan has dabbled in a variety of dance forms for his upcoming film ABCD 2 but the most awaited performance of his is hands-down the taandav in the upcoming song Mai Teri Chunariya. The song will be very different from all the other tracks from the dance-based film. A source close to the film suggests that Mai Teri Chunariya is a heart-rending number about a son who years for his mother’s love. Here is what the source further adds about the song, “This is a very emotional song as the character is dancing in pain for his mother. This song is extremely close to Varun’s heart and he specially requested for Punit to choreograph it as he has seen Punit perform and really respects his dance style.”

Here are 5 things you should look forward to in the upcoming ABCD 2 song…

Varun’s eight pack abs: The actor will be revealing his ripped physique, especially his washboard abs in the song as he will be seen dancing shirtless.

Punit’s mind-blowing choreography: Punit has been a contestant on Dance India Dance and he has also been a part of the first ABCD movie. He knows and understands the nuances of contemporary dancing style. He has given Varun some amazing moves!

An intense ode to a mother: This is the most emotional and powerful song in the film. The song is straight from a son’s heart to his mother and the listeners will connect to it on a deeper level.

Aerial silk style of contemporary dance: This form of dancing has been seen in Dhoom 3 but in ABCD 2, it will be quite distinct and unique as it has been incorporated into a taandav.

Varun’s Taandav: For the uninitiated, a taandav is an intense dance of fury and we have never seen Varun do anything like that before! It will be quite interesting to watch him do an Indian dance form!

The popular actor from Dil Dosti Dance was apparently cheated by his own manager

It has been a bad day for TV actors. After TV star Karan Singh Grover got duped in an online lottery scam, another popular television actor falls prey to fraud.

I am talking about Dil Dosti Dance actor Kunwar Amarjeet Singh, who has apparently been cheated by his manager Primal Mehta. It is being said that the accused manager has absconded with a sum of Rs 15 lakhs. This led to Kunwar filing a police complaint against Primal Mehta. Our source informs us, “Amar has been busy in his shoots, events and performances due to which he had hired a manager named Primal and trusted him with his accounts, contacts and money.  However, Primal ended up misusing Amar’s money and is now after repeated attempts not returning the actor’s hard earned money.  Amar has filed a police complaint against his ex-manager and also warned all his friends in the industry to beware of him.”

Amar confirmed the news saying, “I had put in a lot of trust into Primal and even recommended him to my own friends.  Over time I found out that he was cheating me as well as my friends and when I asked him to give me my money which had accumulated with him, he kept giving me false reasons.  I started getting calls from my spot, make up, etc that they hadn’t gotten paid which made me realize that not only was my money with this man but he wasn’t paying dues to the people I owed money to.  After investigation I found out that he had wasted the money in dance bars, gambling, match fixing, etc.  I have filed a complaint and also warned everyone that I could.  I really don’t know if we’ll be getting our money back but I hope we do as its hard earned money.”

Ritesh Deshmukh: The actor looked dapper in the Kunal Anil Tanna suit. I loved the monochrome printed shirt; makes for a good change. And from the stubble and expression, Mr Deshmukh is wearing, I’m guessing he’s still has the Ek Villain hangover.

Genelia D’Souza: The pretty lady is looking even prettier in a Rimple and Harpreet Narula one piece. Usually, her dazzling smile is the highlight of her appearance but today she let her ring do the talking. The Razwada ring was every bit as beautiful as it was large. The actress rounded off her look with maroon lips and matching Jimmy Choo pumps.

Ayushmann Khurrana: The Dum Laga Ke Haisha actor went in for an indo-western look. The actor sported a longer version of a Jodhpuri by Tarun Tahiliani. It wasn’t particularly a bad one, but not a great one either.

Lauren Gottlieb- The ABCD 2 actress went in for a semi formal Hemant and Nandita piece. I like the layered frill pattern of the dress and given that I’m a sucker for grey, I’m totally loving the look.

Dia Mirza: The actress was seen sporting a Happy Heart white one piece. Between the ill-fitted dress and the tacky footwear, I’m not sure what is more disturbing. A heavy neck piece or bright earrings might have been some compensation for the bad dress, but the actress decided to make do with them as well. After her bright appearance at IIFA Rocks, I’m terribly disappointed with this one.
