Zee TV’s Kumkum Bhagya is set for a new innings. For long now we saw that Abhi’s girlfriend and sister were the baddies, but soon there will be another person the rockstar will have to be worried about!

Abhi and Pragya’s life is already complicated. But looks like there si still more in store for the couple who is handling Tanu’s pregnancy issue right now. We hear that the makers of the show are planning to introduce a new character on the show. And mind you this one is not a good one. What’s worse is he is here to create more issues for the rockstar. In fact this character will be on the show to take away fame, money and more from Abhi. But will Pragya as usual come and shield Abhi from worse? Well, read on to find out…

This new villain in Pragya and Abhi‘s life is not Tanu’s baby, but he will be brought into Abhi’s life through his girlfriend. The new villain will also be shown as someone is who is a non-threat. But beware Pragya, like Tanu’s baby there are a lot of things that do not appear the way they really are. In the upcoming episode Pragya will accuse Daasi of theft. After which she will declare herself pregnant. Clearly creating more confusion for Abhi. An insecure Tanu insists on testing Pragya for pregnancy which will turn out to be positive. After which Tanu feels threatened.

Hush hush buzz is that Pragya has either learnt the truth about Abhi not being the father of Tanu’s baby or this is yet another trick of hers to bring Tanu closer to Abhi. Whatever the case looks like more drama will unfold on the show soon. Who will be the new villain on Kumkum Bhagya? Well, come back right here to find out!

The leap has happened and the couple has decided to part ways for good

The recent leap of Itna Karo Na Mujhe Pyaar has been met with mixed reaction. There are some who love the new twist in the tale but sadly the number of people hating the leap is way more than that.

In the recent episode, it becomes clear that Nishi (Rhea Sharma) can never get pregnant and when Ragini (Pallavi Kulkarni) informs this to her daughter, she lashes out at him. Nishi blames her mother the reason for all her troubles and accuses her of stealing all her happiness. She tells Ragini that since she could never be happy in her life she can’t see her daughter happy too.

When Jignesh’s family comes to know about Nishi’s situation they are sympathetic to her feelings, but their kind gesture is misconstrued by their daughter-in-law. She screams at them and asks them to stay away from her. Nishi is obviously upset that she can no longer deliver a baby. She goes into depression and in a weak moment slits her wrist.

Luckily her family members see her at the right time and immediately take her to the hospital. When Ragini hears this news, she breaks down and feels extremely helpless and starts missing Neil (Ronit Roy). Ragini calls Neil and tells him about Nishi, she begs him to talk to his daughter as she listens only to her father. But Neil says that Nishi is not his daughter and Ragini is not his wife and hence should keep him away from all this.

While we agree that Neil wants his space and distance from Ragini, but we think it is extremely wrong for him to stay away from his own daughter. Parents fought, decided to split, then came back after 15 years and separated again – due to their own egos. In this scenario what wrong did the kids do? Why are they kept away from the love of their parents, and why are they forced to live away from their siblings. The entire show is interesting to watch but excruciatingly irritating ‘coz the leads fail to see sense and behave appropriately. Both Neil and Ragini are so absorbed in what they want and wish; they fail to see the situation from another viewpoint. Agam (Rohan Shah) and Suhani (Palak Jain) have more than their parents put together.

Like we told you earlier, the couple is finally coming back together

In the recent episodes of Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi, Ishani (Radhika Madan) figures out that her mother’s death was not an accident, in fact it was a calculated murder. Ishani tells Shikhar (Arjun Bijlani) that her mother was murdered and the onus of proving who the killer is is on them.

In the next episode, Shikhar organises a masquerade sangeet party where Ishani comes dressed in a red hot dress and Shikhar wears a black tie suit. Just before the party, RV (Shakti Arora) rescues Ishani from being hit by a speeding car. They share a moment but Ranveer snaps out of it and he walks back in to the party.

During the party, Shikhar and Ishani indulge in some romantic dances, which makes Ranveer extremely jealous. Even though Ishani is physically present at the party, her mind is elsewhere. Ranveer also experiences the same thing and that’s when he realises that no matter how hard he tries he can never forget that he will always love only Ishani. In the party, someone tries to kill Ishani, but RV rescues her in the nick of time.

No one realises this but RV is shocked to know that someone wants Ishani dead. He decides to never leave her side and to keep loving her. But he also makes up his mind to never express it until Ishani says that she loves him too.

Will Ranveer figure out who wants to harm the love of his life? Will the boys find out the person behind the attack? Will the secret come out? Stay tuned to find out.

Bigg Boss 8 jodi Upen Patel and Karishma Tanna got together on the controversial reality show. They were roped in on Nach Baliye 7 as a couple. However, the doubt whether they are a real couple or a reality couple is not yet solved. Just when our doubts were getting cleared, Upen went down on his knees and proposed marriage to Tanna.

Last weekend, Upen proposed to Karishma and she agreed to marry him. In fact, their parents came on video and more or less confirmed their decision. Yes we are happy for the couple, it is indeed a beautiful step in any relationship. According to the latest update, the contestants of Nach Baliye 7 and Rithvik Dhanjani will put up a few dance performances for the couple and celebrate their sangeet on the show itself. They are planning to make this day extra special for the couple and where best to do this than the Nach Baliye house.

If you remember, a while ago Sara Khan and Ali Merchant got married on Bigg Boss. They became the talk of the town when they got married and even when they got divorced a few months later. Well we see history repeating itself with Upen and Karishma’s impending nuptials, not that we’d wish it for any couple.

We wonder if they will get married on the show just to boost TRPs. It seems like an interesting idea and considering they’ve already gone so far, it seems like a waste to not do it on air. However, considering it’s not yet proved whether they are real or reel couple, we still hope this marriage works for them in the long run. Kudos to reality TV and drama!

Yes, Kushal Tandon last night made an announcement that he has bagged a Bollywood film as the lead actor.

The actor tweeted, “sined my first Bollywood movie ……. Beautiful script … Kushalians u wil get news in a day or two til then. ” This is definitely great news for the actor who has always expressed how he desperately wanted to do Bollywood films.

Before this, Kushal was seen as one of the lead actors on Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behnaa Hai and in several modelling projects. After his stint in Bigg Boss, the actor was more in news for his on and off relationship with Gauahar Khan than anything else.

It is indeed a dream come true for Kushal , guess all his antics on Bigg Boss and on social networking sites finally paid off, especially those shirtless pictures. Ahem… ahem! This mini clip is spectacular indeed. Just one thing though…it’s copied! Anita’s entry on stage is a rip off of popular American singer Katy Perry’s act on Super Bowl, the annual championship game of the National Football Laeague! Now check out THIS video and we bet you will agree with us.

In both the videos, Anita and Katy can be seen making an entry on a giant locomotive modal of a lion, having red fiery eyes. Much like Katy, Anita is atop the moving lion and is seen taming him with a rope!

Now we wonder if Anita was aware that her act is a blind copy of the one pulled off by Katy or otherwise. Either way, it seems originality seems to be a lost concept in the entertainment industry these days.

Being a big Aamir Khan fan, the Baahubali director spoke at great lengths about his respect for Aamir Khan and his work

Being the director of India’s most expensive film is not an easy place to be. Despite the humongous expectations from Baahubali, and praises being showered at the brilliant trailer, director SS Rajamouli comes off as a really cool and down to earth person to talk with. 

Recently I had the opportunity to speak with him, where he spoke about his awe for Mr Perfectionist Aamir Khan. Talking about what impresses him most about Aamir, Rajamouli said,” He is a great actor. But more than an actor what I like about him is his passion towards the films, the kind of nuances which he has introduced in filmmaking like giving importance to pre-production, screenplay and the kind of innovative-ness which he brings to the publicity of the film. I would like to work with him to learn so many things from him. Rather than actor Aamir Khan, I would love to work with Aamir Khan the filmmaker”.

Recalling about meeting with Aamir Khan, Rajamouli disclosed that he had discussed on many ideas with Mr Perfectionist but denied that Aamir had given any inputs for the story of Baahubali. After watching what Rajamouli can do on celluloid, I can’t wait for the day when two like minded geniuses like Rajamouli and Aamir Khan to come together for a film.

We all know how Ananya and Kabir have constantly been at loggerheads. However, finally the two will be seen patching up. Yes! The current plot surrounding the two is the traitor Madhav’s case where Ananya has been given the lead to carry out his interview. Ananya of course doesn’t want any favor from Kabir this time. But Kabir who is now very concerned for Ananya, forcibly becomes a part of it saying he is her senior and will have to accompany her for Madhav’s interview. Ananya has no choice and decides to take him along. On their way, they see a set of men following their car, who later also keep them at the gun point. Ananya looks worried and holds Kabir’s hand. Seeing this, Kabir assures he’ll handle it and tells her that its usual in such big shot cases.

Soon after, they meet Madhav who asks Ananya as to why did she get someone, when he had specifically asked her to come alone. Again, Kabir defends this one saying its their company policy to send juniors in twos’. To which Madhav quips saying this man (Kabir) has mainly come for Ananya’s safety. But will he be able to save her from me? Kabir gets impatient hearing this and asks them to start with the interview before it gets too late. However, Madhav randomly walks out of the room, leaving Kabir and Ananya puzzled!

Now what next? Will the two land themselves into some serious trouble? Well, the precap of the episode has been kept as a suspense. But with this new twist in the plot, we are sure Ananya and Kabir’s concern for each other is raising to an all new level. Bajrangi Bhaijaan song Selfie Le Le Re is out! But here’s something that might leave you a little baffled…

Salman Khan until recent did not know what a selfie is! Yes, that’s true. This despite the superstar being on social media. While we have seen the actor pose for selfies with his industry friends, heroines and even fans, seems like Salman was not really aware about the term ‘selfie’. It seems that when his Bajrangi Bhaijaan heroine Kareena Kapoor Khan asked for a selfie click with the actor, a confused Salman had quizzed her as to what that was? A source close to the actor revealed, “Salman did not know what’s a selfie. When everyone was busy participating in this trend Salman was unawares. In fact for the longest time he did not know until his sister told him about it.”

That was quite sometime back, but now Salman has become one of the first Bollywood actors to do a selfie with a twist in a song. The Selfie Le Le Re song in Bajrangi Bhaijaan is out and Salman has got everyone grooving. In fact we hear that the actor has also planned a contest around selfies the winners of which will get a chance to feature with the actor in the remix version of Selfie Le Le Re song that will be shot in a while.

Looks like all the hype around Daadi becoming a great grandmother on Kumkum  Bhagya is just another TRP upping gimmick!

Pragya will be pregnant just like Abhi’s girlfriend Tanu! Well, looks like Abhi is the new Vicky Donor in town. Just kidding. We had told you earlier that Pragya will get pregnant and Daadi will go crazy with this happy news and start distributing sweets in her family. However, here’s an update. Pragya’s pregnancy is just a misunderstanding! That’s right, in the upcoming episode a comedy of errors will unfold that will create some solid tension and confusion in the Mehra house. We will see Tanu asking Pragya to prove that she is indeed pregnant. Abhi will be shocked on hearing this good news, but once everything clears we will understand that this is nothing but a big goof up!

Pragya has planned to trick Daasi and accuse her of theft in the house. While Daadi asks Pragya for the money she handed over earlier Abhi’s wife refuses to do so. She indirectly tries to imply that it is Daasi who has robbed the money. Will Tanu’s pregnancy report create this misunderstanding?

We think that Tanu’s pregnancy reports will be labelled as Mrs Abhi Mehra and the family will assume that it is his wife. Tanu without understanding any of this might end up believing that this is Pragya trying to double cross her. What Abhi and Pragya should be more worried about is the entry of a new villain their lives. In fact, Pragya instead of helping Tanu should try and get rid of her husband’s girlfriend asap. Coz it is Tanu who will bring the new enemy  into their lives.

The role of the judges of the dance reality show finally comes to an end

For weeks we’ve seen the contestants of Nach Baliye 7 battle it out every weekend to stay in the competition. They’ve worked on their romances and their dancing techniques. The judges Preity Zinta, Marzi Pestonji and Chetan Bhagat are very impressed with the jodis and have been giving them spectacular scores. Now it’s the junta’s turn to vote for their favourite contestants and for the participants to exercise their PR machineries.

We’ve just heard that this week one more contestant from the last six jodis will be evicted. The contestants will stay in the Nach Baliye house for two more days. Considering they’ve already shot for three weeks in advance the contestants will be now leave the their safe house and prepare for their live performances. The semi finale and finale of Nach Baliye will happen between the top five couples – Upen Patel-Karishma Tanna, Rashami Desai-Nandish Sandhu, Amruta Khanvilkar-Himmanshoo Malhotra, Sana Saeed-Deepesh Patel, Mayuresh Wadkar- Ajisha Shah and Aishwarya Sakhuja-Rohit Nag (One of these contestants will be eliminated this week).

The jodis will be away for about 21 days and meet directly at the semi finale which will happens sometime in the last week of the July. With their fates in the hands of the junta we are sure things will get very interesting. Live performances and votes will finally give us the right verdict and make this competition worth the watch.

Salman Khan has captured everyone’s attention after the trailer of his upcoming Bajrangi Bhaijaan hit the screens. Now, he just came up with the first song from the film called Selfie Le Le Re. It is a completely typical Salman song, which makes you wanna leave everything and just dance your heart out. Salman’s signature steps will definitely make his fans go gaga. However, it is the main theme of the song, Selfie, which catches your imagination. In the song, Salman is seen taking a ton of selfies with loads of Bajrang Bali bhakts!

Selfie is not a new thing for people in Bollywood. It has been the favourite thing for every actor and actress these days. But getting Salman do a full song on Selfie, takes the thing to a completely different level. I have a slight feeling that Salman’s Selfie le le song might be taking inspiration from the insanely popular Katthi song Selfie pulla, which is danced on by the Tamil superstar Vijay and Samantha Ruth Prabhu. Quite like the BB Selfie song, Selfie pulla is also about the lead character’s obsession with taking a lot of selfies every time he goes anywhere!

The new song from this week’s release touches a emotional chord…

All eyes are set on this week’s hottest release – the multi-starrer Dil Dhadakne Do. Though the movie releases in a couple of days, the makers behind this fun-romp are still not done in offering its fans more goodies to entice them to the theatres. Today, they have released the video of a song that’s kind of different from the previous songs we have witnessed from the movie – It’s more melancholic.

What’s it about:

The song features Priyanka Chopra and Farhan Akhtar prominently, with Ranveer Singh, Anil Kapoor, Shefali Shah and Rahul Bose also appearing in the same. Anushka Sharma is surprisingly missing here. As mentioned before, unlike the earlier songs that we have seen and heard, Phir Bhi Yeh Zindagi is about pathos, separation and about hard choices made in life. Sung by Farhan Akhtar, Vishal Dadlani, Divya Kumar, Alyssa Mendonsa and Sapna Pathak, the song may be the penultimate ditty in the narrative, if the title song is played in the post-credit portions.

What’s hot:

It’s a refreshing change from the peppy songs that we have seen from the film till now, though I am not saying sad songs are always good. Another fresh perspective brought in here is that it focuses on the dilemma of Priyanka-Farhan-Rahul track, instead of the other love-birds of the tale, Ranveer-Anushka. I loved the idea of the song, that everyone is on the fun and frolic on the outside, yet no one is actually happy about what’s going on in their lives. The singers do a good job in rendering the track, while the beautiful bare locales help in giving a distinct personality to the song. BTW, is it me or does Shefali Shah look really beautiful in here?

What’s not:

Though the visuals of the song were captivating, the same cannot be said about the song as a composition. It has this heard-this-before vibe in it. Though the singers do a great work in here, the song in itself does not make us crave for repeated hearings. This is just another plain Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy melody, especially when you compare it to the much beautiful Pehli Baar from the same album.

What to do:

Though the song may not be strong enough as a composition, Phir Bhi Yeh Zindagi will certainly look better on screen when we see the film in theatres, with the beautiful locales, superb acting display and the picturisation.

Life has taken 360 degree turn for Ragini and Neil but they’ve not stopped loving each other yet – or so we’d like to believe

In the upcoming episode of Itna Karo Na Mujhe Pyaar there will be a new entry and she may just help the estranged couple come back together. So Vidya Balan is coming on the popular Sony TV show to promote her film Hamari Adhuri Kahani. From what we hear, the actress will meet Ragini (Pallavi Kulkarni) and they’ll have a heart to heart talk about their married lives.

Vidya, who plays a florist in the movie, will talk about her marital woes, while Ragini will be seen talking about her problems with Neil (Ronit Roy), how they separated, came back together to separate again. Vidya will be seen advising Ragini about how she should get back with Neil or at least give him a call. It’s been only nine months and she still has the time to make it all right between them.

Ragini has been trying to get in touch with Neil to tell him about Nishi’s (Rhea Sharma) medical condition and her attempt to commit suicide. The first time she tries to call him, he is unable to answer the call as he was busy with Suhani (Palak Jain) in New York.

Back in India, Nishi has been asking for her father and he seems to be the only one to bring Nishi out of depression. It remains to be seen if Ragini’s forgoes her ego and calls Neil and brings him back to India.

Neil’s daughter needs him desperately and this is the time that he needs to be by her bedside no matter the issue in his marital life with Ragini. Only time will tell if Ragini convinces Neil to come back.

At the recently concluded Arab Indo Bollywood Awards, Dabangg Khan made a lot of cheeky remarks in his trademark style but what he said about Shhuddhi was something that caught everyone’s attention. Read on to know what exactly happened…

Just a while back, we told you that Salman Khan confessed at the Arab Indo Bollywood Awards 2015 that Jacqueline Fernandez has been kicked out of Kick sequel. Guess what, the Being Human superstar also spoke about Karan Johar’s bid budget film Shhuddhi at the starry event. Well, Khan is known for his wisecracks and that’s how he entertained the crowd at the AIBA 2015 in Dubai. At the event, the Bajrangi Bhaijaan actor first teased Varun Dhawan for taking away KJo’s film from him. Here’s how: The superstar first called VD on the stage and shared few funny anecdotes about his father filmmaker David Dhawan. But just when the ABCD 2 actor started going backstage, Bhai said, “Ye dekho, Shhuddhi leke chale gaye.” While this didn’t seem a snide remark, what he said next certainly left Johar embarrassed.

Salman, who was supposed to play the lead in Shhuddhi, told the crowd that instead of cutting the budget of the film, Karan ended up cutting him out of the film. Thus left everyone in splits except for the Dharam head honcho of course. Here’s what the Prem Ratan Dhan Payo hero exactly said, “Ye (Karan) itne bade budget ki film bana rahe hain, iska thoda sa budget kam kar lo par inhone mujhe hi kam kar diya. Budget to kam kiya nahi, mujhe hi kam kar diya film se. How sweet of you Karan.” And Johar immediately replied, “How wrong of you Salman.”

The filmmaker is all praise for the Shaitan director…

Wazir is a movie which has the rare classification having four world renowned directors coming together for the film. Firstly Farhan Akhtar, who has been credited with superb directorials like Dil Chahta Hai, Lakshya, Don and Don 2, is the lead actor is the film. Secondly Vidhu Vinod Chopra, who has been giving us films like Parinda, 1942: A Love Story, Broken Horses and all, is the producer of the film. Thirdly Rajkumar Hirani, who has given us films like PK, 3 Idiots, Munnabhai, is editing the film. Finally we have Bejoy Nambiar, who gave us films like Shaitan and David is directing the venture. So when Vidhu was asked as to why he didn’t direct the film and got Bejoy on board, here’s what he had to say…

“Bejoy is a far better director than me. The kind of films that he has made is proof of the fact that he can direct way better than what I could ever imagine. During the edit, I have seen scenes which he has shot and I know it for a fact that I would have never been able to visualise the scene in that manner. That’s why I think it was a very great decision that Bejoy is directing this film and not me. Abhijaat Joshi and I have put in a lot of effort over the past five years to write this film’s story and script. Now that we are seeing the story come alive on the edit table, I think we were not wrong in getting Bejoy to direct it” informs the Eklavya director.

The Wazir teaser has definitely piqued everyone’s interest and we are expecting a lot of from the film. Bejoy definitely is a great director and we are expecting him to deliver another cult film like Shaitan. What about you BollywoodLifers?

Television’s onscreen couples make our daily routines rather interesting with their romance and drama. Be it Diya Aur Baati Hum’s simple pair Sandhya- Sooraj or Kaisi Yeh Yaariyan’s hot and happening jodi Manik and Nandini, there are love stories from every age group and culture out there, for people to like or dislike. TV’s two most popular onscreen couples today are Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’s Raman- Ishita and Kumkum Bhagya’s Abhi- Pragya.

Actor Divyanka Tripathi and Karan Patel play Raman- Ishita aka ‘Ishra’ on YHM and this married couple is well liked for its unique combination. Where Raman is a naughty Punjabi, Ishita is a coy damsel hailing from South India. Their pairing is much like Alia Bhatt and Arjun Kapoor’s in 2 States. Raman and Ishita are adored for their bitter sweet relationship. Though IshRa are constantly indulged in some or the other kind of nok jhok, they surely know how to make up! The couple’s chemistry and romance can put all the Raj and Simran’s to shame. IshRa continue to rule the small screen and be loved for their special bond.

But this pair faces some serious competition from Kumkum Bhagya’s Abhi- Pragya. This controversial jodi has tons of issues and somehow love, comes to their rescue each time. Played by actors Sristi Jha and Shabbir Ahluwalia, Abhi- Pragya are a misfit for each other and yet so perfect together! Abhi is a notorious rockstar whose popularity knows no bounds. Pragya on the other hand is a teacher and an agony aunt to probably every member in the family!

Though Raman and Ishita have accepted their feelings for each other, Abhi Pragya are still struggling in that department and the odds are currently against them. But we are sure these two love birds will come around as well.

The ace filmmaker talks about the lead actor of his coming magnum opus…

Vidhu Vinod Chopra chooses a sprint chase over bike chase for Farhan Akhtar in Wazir. We have all seen Farhan Akhtar play the Flying Sikh in the highly acclaimed film, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag. For the same he had taken training from the man himself, Milkha Singh.

He did not know back then, that this would help him in his future project too. The makers of his next film, Wazir, have taken advantage of this and included a chase sequence of Farhan sprinting instead of a more comfortable bike chase. However, there is a bike chase sequence later on as well.

When Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Bejoy Nambiar saw him running, they realised that his run was extremely intense, so they tried the sequence in a rehearsal. They were more than convinced that this is how it needs to be shown. The makers and Farhan himself are quite happy with the sprint chase sequence.

Vinod confirms and adds “It’s a mind blowing sequence and has actually turned out better than we expected. It is a crisp shot and even when we saw it later on the projector we felt the adrenaline rush. There is a lot of intensity in the sequence which we are certain will hook the audiences.” The film will showcase Farhan playing an ATS cop for the very first time.

Wazir marks the coming together of two power house performers Farhan Akhtar and Amitabh Bachchan for the very first time on the silver screen. Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Abhijat Joshi have written the film. After the buzz created by the first tease, the second teaser came out with yesterday with a bang. Produced by Vinod Chopra Films and Rajkumar Hirani Films, Wazir is all set to release in December this year.
