There is a lot of turmoil in Ishita’s life in the coming episodes. Last night, we saw how Sarika Dhillon (Sarika Dhillon) gave Raman (Karan Patel) poison. However Ishita (Divyanka Tripathi) and Romi (Aly Goni) managed to rescue him in the nick of time. We also saw Ishita’s doubt on Sarika intensifying after she heard Ashok’s (Sangram Singh) conversation with her. In the mean time, Sarika filled Mrs Bhalla’s ears against Ishita and Shagun and how they have betrayed the entire family. Mrs Bhalla gets angered with the developments.

In the coming episodes, we will see Mrs Bhalla throwing Ishita out of the house. Mrs Iyer will also close doors on her. She will have no option but to move out. Shagun (Anita Hassanandani) will come to her aid. Then, we will see her bringing the police to Bhalla house. She will accuse them of domestic violence and get them arrested. Everyone will be shocked, including Raman. Through this, she will take help to trap Sarika and Ashok and put them behind the bars.

In the mean time, the cast and crew of Yeh Hai Mohabbatein has fallen ill due to the work load and Mumbai climate. Many of them fell ill after the crocodile episode where the lead actors had to stay underwater. There is no bank in place, which is why the cast and crew is facing this problem. People are singing praises of the leads, who have been shooting non-stop.

Rajkumar Hirani has postponed Sanjay Dutt’s biopic, read on to know why…

Sanjay Dutt’s biopic is one of the most important films for Rajkumar Hirani. He roped in the Kapoor scion Ranbir Kapoor for this special film and we were expecting that the ace filmmaker will leave no stone unturned to start this dream project soon. But looks like we are mistaken. Alas, the film has been put on hold and here’s why.

Apparently, Hirani wants to concentrate on his production venture starring R Madhavan, Saala Khadoos. Well, this is a sad news for the fans of the Tamasha actor. Saala Khadoos is about a banished, temperamental boxing coach essayed by R Madhavan and his struggle to train some kick ass boxing talent in the country. The film will be out by January 29 next year and only then will he concentrate on Sanju’s biopic.

This film is an important film for both Hirani and Ranbir. Ranbir needs a blockbuster hit to wipe out some dismal flops in his career graph since last couple of years. It would be interesting to see how the original bad boy Sanjay Dutt’s good friend portrays him on the big screen. Will Ranbir do justice to Sanju’s rockstar image? only time will tell. Here is what happened at the domestic box office during the second week…

Tongues have been wagging since it was announced that Ranveer Singh-Deepika Padukone’s Bajirao Mastani and Shah Rukh Khan-Kajol’s Dilwale were clashing at the box office on December 18. Both the film’s were equally anticipated and everyone predicted a loss of money for both the films. As the day came, Dilwale opened phenomenally well as it zoomed to Rs 21 crore on day one, while Bajirao Mastani collected just Rs 12.80 crore. However, since then the latter has picked up and overtaken the former on day 12 (second Tuesday).

While Dilwale received mixed reviews from the critics as well as the audience, Bajirao Mastani got very good reviews from both the sections. The positive word-of-mouth has helped the latter and the film started reeling in Dilwale from the first Monday itself. On day 4 (first Monday), Bajirao Mastani collected Rs 10.25 crore, which was marginally more than Dilwale which had made Rs 10.09 crore. Since then, Ranveer Singh’s film has been collecting more than Dilwale and has finally overtaken Shah Rukh’s film on the second Tuesday (day 12).

Dilwale has earned Rs 129.03 crore by day 12, while Bajirao Mastani has earned Rs 131.45 crore. Yes, finally Ranveer Singh’s film has overtaken Shah Rukh Khan’s film and proven that content is king. Trade sources had earlier suggested  that Dilwale would open well because it is a mass entertainer, but Bajirao Mastani would have a good, long and steady run. Well, we guess there predictions have come true.

Both the films are going to maintain the same figures throughout the week and so, Bajirao Mastani will start creating a gap between itself and Dilwale.

The movie is a sequel to the 2014 horror comedy film Aranmanai

Tamil horror fans may have something to cheer about. The official trailer of Aranmanai 2 has been released. The movie is a sequel to the 2014 hit film Aranmanai which was also a horror flick. The film stars actor Siddharth who has acted in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi movies and is a big name in Kollywood. Hansika Motwani and Trisha Krishnan play the leading ladies. The movie is directed by actor and director Sundar C, who also plays a pivotal role in the movie. Other than the main cast, the supporting cast consists of veteran comedian and actress Kovai Sarala, Soori and Manobala to provide comic relief. The movie is produced by yesteryear actress Khushbu Sundar, wife of director Sundar C.

The trailer tries to give off a scary and spooky vibe in which it partly succeeds. It looks like the plot-line will not deviate much from the first film and continue in its horror comedy niche. The setting looks a bit grand, even though the special effects seem a little lackluster at times. Looks like Kollywood actress Laxmi Rai will also be making an appearance. The casting is strong and the trailer looks interesting and visually exciting.

Overall, the official trailer of Aranmanai 2 will definitely intrigue you even if it may not scare you much. What made Aranamanai such a success was the unique horror comedy combo which it pulled off well. Hopefully, Aranmanai 2 will also be as successful as Aranmanai.

When artists such as Deorro, Paul Ritch, Culture Shock, Luigi Madonna, DJ Zinc and W&W took to the stage in the late hours of the evening, the crowd went insane.

Spotted partying their hearts out at the event were popular player of the India Cricket Team – Rohit Sharma, television actress Kritika Kamra and MTV’s hottest young star Parth Samthaan.

Speaking about her experience at the event, Kritika said, “I love EDM and Vh1 Supersonic has pulled in some really hard core dance music artists. I was totally blown away by Norman Doray’s set today and I think Deorro was insane because suddenly I saw a whole mass of people just completely going bonkers. It’s crazy and amazing at the same time. I’m here with my parents and friends and after a hectic few months, parting at Candolim to such amazing music is definitely the best way to end the year on a high note! I can’t wait to see Axwell perform tomorrow!”

Mountain out of a molehill much?

Indian actress-turned-author Twinkle Khanna has found Rishi Kapoor’s birthday wish “sweet” even though some found the tweet by the veteran actor embarrassing.

Kriti and Sushant do make an interesting pairing

They are yet to begin shooting for filmmaker Dinesh Vijan’s next, but Bollywood actress Kriti Sanon already feels her chemistry with Sushant Singh Rajput is special.The duo will be seen sharing screen space in the yet-untitled project for the first time. The Dilwale actress said after enacting a scene from the upcoming film with Sushant, she felt they had an instant spark.

“Dinesh asked us to do a scene from the movie. We were sitting on the sofa and did it impromptu. There was something special, something you can’t describe in words. There was a connect, a spark, some chemistry between me and Sushant even though that was the first time we met.

“So, that kind of thing coming out in the first meeting was very different and unique for all of us. The film has a beautiful script. It is something which we three are very passionate about and there is some great energy between three of us,” Kriti told a news portal.

Without divulging details about the film, the 25-year-old actress said it will present a different side of her to the audience.

“It is about love, dreams, destiny… I feel it will show a different side of me to the audience. It is different from what I have already done. I will be starting Feb end-March beginning. Sushant would be done with ‘Dhoni…’ by then.

“After that we will go into a little prep and then begin shooting. I remember the first time I met Dinesh a few months ago, it was for something else and while talking, he narrated me this script. Sushant was already involved with it. I went back home and it stayed with me for days and after some time I met Dinesh and told him that I would love to do the film.”

She is just two-film-old and though aware of the competition around, Kriti is in no hurry to sign films. ”I consider everyone a competition. I don’t keep a tab on their work but there is a good, healthy competition. Whether it is Alia, Shraddha or Parineeti everyone is doing so well. They have done so many films. Technically, I am the newest of all. Everyone is being picky and choosy,” she said.

While Kriti comes from a non-film background, many of her contemporaries are star kids, who enjoy backing from the industry. The actress, however, thinks the filmy association helps an actor only for the initial part of the career and beyond that it is one’s hardwork that does the talking. ”When you belong to a filmy family, you can get an advantage in the first few opportunities. I totally believe that beyond a certain number of films, it is only your talent that can take you ahead. I don’t think just belonging to a film background; you can survive in the industry. I have gotten used to the place now…”

 Actor Nandish Sandhu clarifies on his relationship with Ankita Shorey and says she is not responsible for his divorce

Fans of Uttaran were very happy when Rashami Desai (Tapasya) and Nandish Sandhu (Veer) tied the knot in real life. However, their union was far from blissful with rumours of strife ruling the roost. The news of them separating and divorcing did not come as a surprise but actor’s reported affair with beauty queen Ankita Shorey was a shocker for many, who were unaware of this alleged angle.

The couple had been having issues from the start of their marriage. They were living apart since three years. Sources say the actor tried to make amends but she opted to live alone. She filed for divorce last year and again this year in September.

In a statement, Nandish told us, “I am not dating Ankita Shorey. In fact I am not dating anyone currently. Whenever I get into a relationship I will be vocal about it and not hide it as has always been that way for me. Rashmi asked for a divorce last year when she sent me a notice. We got together for Nach Baliye and decided to give our marriage one more chance. Things got better but post Nach Baliye this year on September 23, she again approached me for a divorce and we mutually decided to finally part ways.”

Elaborating on his relationship with Ankita, he says, “I met Ankita at a common friend’s birthday party in October end this year. We have a lot of friends in common and so bumped into each other a couple of times and hence she became like one of my other industry friends. How can a girl whom I met in October end this year be responsible for a divorce that was decided on September 23? I have consented for a divorce not because there is someone else in my life, but because I have tried my 100 percent and I have really given our marriage the best shot possible.”

The coming together of the two superstars brought a lot of cheer to the Bigg Boss ratings!

It was a historic moment. Viewers of Bigg Boss 9 were in for a treat as superstars Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan shared the same stage on a show after reviving their friendship. King Khan had come to promote his film Dilwale with his co-star Kajol in tow. Not surprising, that particular weekend got a high TRP of 2.9 as per BARC Ratings of Week 51. It is one of the highest scores for this season and the channel is delighted. In fact, Colors was also the No.1 channel for Week 51. The past few weekends had numbers like 2.7, 1.9, 2.1 and 2.3. This latest figure has clearly beaten them all. It is almost as high as the launch episode.

The episode was a super entertaining one with Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan regaling everyone with anecdotes from their Karan Arjun days. Viewers were happy to know how close the two actors actually were. They also danced on stage on songs. However, the best part was when Kajol joined them for a game of dumb charades. Inside the house, SRK and Kajol got a warm hug from the housemates. All the girls were dressed to the nines for King Khan.

The excitement in Bigg Boss 9 has got bigger since the entry of wild cards like Priya Malik, Nora Fatehi and Rishabh Sinha. Ugly spats, romance and groupism have ruled the roost. With the show enroute to the finale, we have to wait and watch if such numbers will be repeated again.

Filmmaker Karan Johar’s next directorial venture Ae Dil Hai Mushkil will feature Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Fawad Khan in pivotal roles. The film is Karan’s dream project. We hear that Ae Dil Hai Mushkil is a tale of unrequited love and heartbreaks. Saif Ali Khan plays Aishwarya’s husband in the movie, while Ranbir and Anushka play each other’s love interests. It won’t be a happy masala entertainer, instead ADHM will deal with somber emotions and rough patches in relationships. Reports also suggest that the film is inspired by Rishi Kapoor’s Doosra Aadmi. The 1977 film was about a bereaved working woman (played by Rakhee Gulzar) who falls in love with a much younger man (played by Rishi Kapoor) because he resembles her dead lover.

# MS Dhoni : The Untold Story - Another biopic in the making. The story of the inaugural ICC T20 World Cup and 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup winner, MS Dhoni’s life story will be depicted in the film. Directed by Neeraj Pandey and starring Sushant Singh Rajput and Kiara Advani, the film is set to release on September 2, 2016.

# Kapoor and Sons - Sid and Fawad play brothers in the film and the story of Kapoor and Sons revolves around them. One of the brothers comes out of the closet concerning his sexuality and the drama that follows. Directed by Shakun Batra and starring Alia Bhatt, Sidharth Malhotra and Fawad Khan, Kapoor and Sons Since 1921 will hit the screens on 18 March, 2016.

# Ki and Ka- Directed by R. Balki, the film is about a couple where the wife is the working member of the family and the husband is the housemaker. Here the wife is elder and more mature, while the husband is younger and naive. The day-to-day life drama and crisis make up the film. Starring Kareena Kapoor Khan and Arjun Kapoor, the film is set to release on April 1, 2016.

# Airlift - Airlift is the story of Indians stranded in Kuwait during an Iraqi invasion. The film follows the story of how they, with the help of Ranjit Katyal, managed to survive the situation, and against all odds traveled a thousand kilometers across the border into Amman, Jordan. From Amman, 1,70,000 Indians were brought to India by the largest and the most successful evacuation ever attempted by any country, in the history of the world. Over 59 days, the Indian government systematically flew over 488 Air India commercial flights into a war zone to evacuate all 1,70,000 Indians and safely bring them back home. Starring Akshay Kumar and Nimrat Kaur and directed by Raja Krishna Menon, the film is set to release on January 22, 2016.

Deadpool

If you thought X-Men Origins: Wolverine spoilt one of the most iconic superheroes of all time in Wade Wilson aka Deadpool, here is another film that could redeem the character. Ryan Reynolds returns as the wise-cracking mutant, who retains the comic hero’s original characteristics – he breaks the fourth wall, he dons the trademark uniform and he swears a lot! The mature content of the movies (swear words, sex scenes, gory action) could find a hindrance with our Censors, though!

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

Batman and Superman lugging it out, with Wonder-Woman, Aquaman and Cyborg also making appearances! Do I need to say anything else to sell the movie? The latest trailer has impressed a lot of comic fans with some really gritty visuals, and Ben Affleck has silenced his detractors with his impressive portrayal of Batman. Henry Cavill returns as Superman with Gal Gadot, Jason Momoa and Ray Fisher making their debut in the universe as Wonder-Woman, Aquaman and Cyborg respectively.

Captain America: Civil War

Civil War is one of the most acclaimed comics in the Avengers series, and it is going to get a cinematic reinterpretation next year, when Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) goes against Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) after government started interfering in superhero matters and Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan) gets involved. The movie is already dubbed Avengers 2.5, for the number of superheroes it has crammed in, with the likes of Black Widow (Scarlett Johannson), Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner), Vision (Paul Bettany), War Machine (Don Cheadle), Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen), Falcon (Anthony Mackie), Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman) and Ant-Man (Paul Rudd). Martin Freeman, Frank Grillo and Daniel Bruhl will also be making appearances. Plus, there is a rumour that the new Spiderman will make his debut in the MCU here…Whew! Can I book my tickets an year in advance?

X-Men: Apocalypse

The concluding part of the X-Men: First Class story arc, set in the early ’80s, where Professor X (James McAvoy), Magneto (Michael Fassbender), Mystique (Jennifer Lawrence) and Beast (Nicholas Hoult) face their greatest nemesis ever in Apocalypse (Oscar Isaac), the most powerful mutant. We will also get to see Cyclops, Storm, Angel, Nightcrawler and Jean Grey in their younger avatars. Evan Peters will also make a return as the scene-stealing Quicksilver, though it is not yet confirmed if Hugh Jackman would make any sort of cameo as Wolverine.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows

The karate chopping, pizza loving turtles will be back! Though there were many who didn’t like the Michael Bay-produced first installment, the movie made a lot of money! The turtles will get company in another masked vigilante, the fan-favourite Casey Lang Jones, who will be played by Arrow fame Stephen Amell. Meagan Fox, Will Arnett and William Fichtner will also return from the first film!

Suicide Squad

While all the other films in the list are about superheroes, this one is totally about supervillains. You heard it right! A group of super-villains are recruited by a secret US military agency to fight their missions, and since they are not the good guys, their deaths will not be missed! Will Smith, Margot Robbie, Joel Kinnaman, Jai Courtney will play these assorted rag-tag villains. But the USP is the return of the Joker, this time played by Jared Leto. If luck permits, we can even have Batman in here!

Gambit

Like Deadpool, even Gambit was another fan favourite character that got the short end of the stick in X-Men Origins: Wolverine. All that’s going to change as Gambit will be getting a solo movie of his own, this time being played by Channing Tatum. Very few details are known about the movie, except that it was supposed to be directed by Dawn of the Planet of the Apes fame Rupert Wyatt, who is now replaced by a lesser known but he left the project. Even the release date is not confirmed!

Doctor Strange

Magic enters the realm of Marvel Cinematic Universe, as Doctor Strange will make his first appearance next year. Having already made his presence felt in one of Marvel’s earlier movies (his name was dropped in Captain America: Winter Soldier), Stephen Strange could become the most powerful Avenger in the mix, after Thor. Sherlock fame Oscar nominated Benedict Cumberbatch will play the titular hero.

Star Wars Anthology: Rogue One

Any news that has Star Wars in it will make hot news! With the seventh installment of Star Wars becoming the biggest blockbuster of all time, in 2016, we will be getting a spin-off based on the series, that will have Felicity Jones playing the lead. No other details of the plot are revealed, except that it’s about a sneak attack on the Death Star.

Trailing behind the Tollywood superstar is actor Prabhas of Baahubali fame with 30% votes. Third in line is the Kollywood actor Suriya who got 27% of the total votes in his favor. Allu Arjun and Ram Charan did not find many takers and trailed significantly behind the other three with 6 and 5% votes respectively.

Looks like Mahesh Babu and Tamannaah really set the screen on fire in Aagadu for the fans to react so positively to their chemistry. We really hope that the duo make more movies together in the future and continue to dazzle us all with their amazing romance on screen.
