Earlier in the day, Late Mohd. Rafi’s son Shahid Rafi slammed Karan Johar for poking fun at the legendary singer in his latest film Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. Now, popular singer Sonu Nigam has backed Shahid’s stance in an interview where he looks visibly upset and furious over the dig taken at Rafi in ADHM. In the Karan Johar directed romantic drama there is a scene where Anushka Sharma’s character says “Mohammed Rafi gaate nahi, rote the (Mohammed Rafi used to cry, not sing).” While talking to an entertainment portal, when Sonu was asked about his take on the scene, his reply made it clear that he too found the scene to be insulting. “If you can listen to the same joke about your parents then we are wrong. If your blood boils that how can someone say something like this about my parents, then hum sahi hain beta.”

Sonu further urged that Rafi has passed away and we should be even more respectful towards him. He further said that the Likhe Jo Khat Tujhe singer is equal  a saint to the fraternity. “When something bad will be said about your father then obviously you’d get hurt,” he added. Earlier in the day Rafi’s son Shahid told a news portal “This is so insulting. I am ashamed of Karan Johar. I didn’t expect this from him at all. My dad has sung songs for Karan’s father (Yash Johar) and this is what he has done now. I haven’t seen the film yet. Whoever has written this dialogue is an idiot. He doesn’t know who Rafi saab was. He was the most versatile singer. How can he write such crap about a legendary singer?”

Shahid is expecting an apology from Karan. He said: “The damage has been done. So many people have watched the film. I don’t think he is even going to edit that part. All I expect from Karan is an apology letter from him.”

Bigg Boss 10 witnessed it’s second eviction over the weekend. Akansha Sharma, who entered the Bigg Boss house on a shocking note has been shown the exit door this week. Fans of the show will know that after every eviction, comes the nominations. So it was time for yet another nominations ki prakriya, this time with a twist.

Last week we saw how each contestant had to smear foam on each other’s faces during the nominations, but this time Bigg Boss decided to keep the process a bit simple, but surely it had a catch. This time around, the celebrities and commoners were asked to nominate two members from their own team while providing a suitable justification. Clearly, with every contestant nominating their own team, the mercury level inside the Bigg Boss house was too damn high. While some like Lokesh Kumari Sharma were confused, some like Om Swami, who had a major argument with Manoj Manu Punjabi and Manveer Gurjar was very clear that he had to nominate these two. Gaurav Chopra nominated Bani J, who was quite pissed with him since she didn’t expected him to nominate her. So much that she even asked him to not to talk to her.

We have to admit, it was one of the interesting nominations ki prakriya. After it came to an end, Bigg Boss announced that Mona Lisa, Manveer, Bani, Nitibha Kaul, Lopamudra Raut, Swami Om and Manoj are in the danger zone this week. The upcoming 47th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) will not screen any Pakistani film as the two entries sent from the country were “not up to the mark”.

Union Information and Broadcasting Minister M. Venkaiah Naidu along with Union Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, Deputy Chief Minister of Goa Francis D’souza and Directorate of Film Festivals Senthil Rajan, held a press conference here on Tuesday to unveil the poster and share the highlights of the film festival, which will take place in Goa from November 20-28.

It was also announced that out of 1032 entries from across the globe, IFFI 2016 will screen 194 films from 88 countries, but Pakistan won’t be a part of it.

“We are not screening any Pakistani film this year. We had received two entries from Pakistan, but our film committee felt those films were not up to the mark. We received over 1000 entries from 102 countries,” Rajan told IANS.

“I don’t know the name of the two films that were sent, but they were not shortlisted,” he added.

In 2007, “Khuda Kay Liye” was the first Pakistani film, which was screened at the 38th edition of IFFI.

Last year, filmmaker Jamshed Mahmood Raza’s Pakistani film “Moor” was screened at the festival.

Speaking at the press conference, Naidu said that there is “heavy competition” between films.

“As many as 1032 film entries came. The films that have been selected, you will come to know as and when they will be exhibited,” he said.

IFFI, which earlier used to take place from November 20-30, has been shortened by two days this year.

Talking about the same, Rathore said: “One is always experimenting with the film festival to try and make it as attractive and possible. And we have delegates coming from across the globe.”

“We want them to get the best of cinema in the least amount of time. Therefore, from 10 days we have now reduced it to eight days. There is no reduction in content. The best films are all going to be showcased”.

Late Polish director Andrzej Wajda’s “After Images” — a biopic based on the life of late Polish painter Wladyslaw Strzeminski, will kick off the festival.

This year, the country that will be in focus is Republic of Korea.

South Korean filmmaker Kim Jee-Woon ‘s “The Age of Shadows”, which is the country’s official entry for the Oscars next year, will bring down the curtains on the festival.

Antara Biswas (who also goes by the name of Mona Lisa) has caught the attention of the viewers with her growing friendship with Manoj Manu Punjabi, who is one of the commoners on Bigg Boss 10. She has g a BA degree in Sanskrit before starting out her career as a small-time TV actress and model in local video albums. She acted in several B-grade films before making her Bollywood debut in with Blackmail that starred Ajay Devgn and Suniel Shetty. She then acted and got rated in South Indian films before coming to notice through her role in Tauba Tauba opposite Amin Gazi. However, it is her work in Bhojpuri cinema that shot her into the limelight. At one point, Mona Lisa was the most sought after actress in the Bhojpuri film industry.

Have your priorities changed?
No, not really. I think I am working as hard as I used to in the first seven-eight months or years of my career. I am a mannered man, a stylised actor who genuinely plays to the gallery. I am all that. There’s nothing wrong in that. If you become Shah Rukh by being all that, you should never have any complaints.

Has stardom ever hit you?
Negatively? No! It has hit me in the most positive way. Stardom has caressed me. I say it to everyone who tells me, ‘Aapki privacy nahi hai. Aapko acha nahi lagta kabhi ki beach mein jaake pav bhaji khao ya kahi ghumne nikal jao?’ Nahi! I don’t want to be normal at all. I want a crowd outside my house waving out to me with sheer love. I love it more than having pav bhaji in public. I have no qualms being a superstar. I have been fortunate enough to live like a star for the last 25 years. I would like to die as a star, too. Main bahut clear hoon is maamle mein. Mujhe aur kuch nahi banna.

But as a star, is there anything you really miss doing?
I can do everything. There’s nothing I cannot do. As a matter of fact, Allah’s been kind. I get to do more things than other people can do. So I have missed nothing being a superstar. Also, there’s a sense of being alone — which everyone has — from a director to an actor. I like being reclusive at times. But I was made to be a star. There’s no other way I could have lived my life.

But have your desires changed over the years?
When you start off, you desire to have good money, you want fame, you wish to keep your family well-off. You want awards, rewards… tammanayein khatam hi nahi hoti hai. But having been here for 25 years now, you realise that the only thing you want to do is to make people smile. Somewhere down the line, it’s not guilt, but I have a feeling that I’ve been given a lot more than I deserve. I need to return it before it ends. It’s something I keep telling everyone that the best way to go would be ‘Roll camera, action.. Oh shit! He’s gone’. So, I want to keep on working till the last day because when I don’t work, I feel tired (Smiles).

We don’t have superstars anymore. Do you think that the audience has closed doors to the idea of having one?
Superstardom is more like a fourth wall and is an extremely different concept. You cannot work towards getting the stardom. Yes, there a lot of managers and management companies which help you make the right moves and say the right things, but you need to get a different kind of love to be a superstar. The kind of love that is not tangible and explainable. If that was explainable, we could create so many superstars in the industry. I do think that media tends to figure that out by labelling an actor as the next superstar. I think it takes many years of work for one to attain superstardom. It takes months for one film to reach somewhere. I don’t know if Salman, Aamir and I are the last superstars and I don’t think any actor can explain the phenomena of being a superstar. There is no explanation for that.

Do you ever fear losing out on your stardom?
I have an inane sense of strange confidence in my stardom. But I know what you are saying. It’s reality… it can and it will happen eventually. But I have protected myself from that reality. I live in a zone which is my own created reality. Yeah, I live in a false world, but I just believe that no one can take away my stardom. (Smiles) I don’t think I am worthy of all the love I get from the people. Neither do I deserve all the criticism that comes my way. They are two extremes.

When you try doing something new, at times it doesn’t work. Does that bother you?
I have no understanding of what people think of my work. All that I understand is I am an extremely selfless creative person. I want people to be happy with what I do. So if I go wrong, I go wrong. And it’s never the numbers. I remember when Chak De! India released, I was in London. Everyone told me that Chak De! was going to be the biggest flop. Ditto for My Name Is Khan. They felt it wouldn’t work because we didn’t have a catchy song in it. That’s absolutely all right. I don’t work for posterity or prosperity. I work only on things I like doing and if I don’t like doing something, I can’t move or shift that feeling to you. If an artist is feeling it’s not good enough, he will never be able to convince the audience of the same. The beauty of art is you have to go wrong more often than right to get it right eventually. When Chak De! released, I remember driving down Andheri and there was nobody there to watch the film. When I did Swades, someone in America told me, ‘How can you do a film like this? It’s making no noise’. Those things will keep happening. Again seven or eight years down the line, people will say why aren’t you doing a Chak De! or a Swades and who knows, they might be the same people who rejected the film at first. People forget that when I started off, I did Baazigar, I did Darr. In Deewana, I was launched as ‘the thing’. I see some of the other films on television and I wonder how I made it so big. (Laughs) I have the ability to make memorable choices.

Unlike the millennials, Mr Kapoor is quite old fashioned when it comes to talking about sex or even flirting for that matter. He prefers it face to face and not via a virtual world created by technology. He opened up stating, “To be honest, I am not good at sexting. Sexting is a little bit of brainwashing, it is make believe. I like being face to face with the person and really the flirting and energy is what matters. Sexting is boring, it gets vulgar and needy. I don’t like that.” In a lot of ways, what Mr Kapoor’s thoughts on sexting is, makes a lot of sense.

Clearly he doesn’t shy away from speaking his heart out anymore and we couldn’t be more happy about it! He has openly been stating how he was once part of London Tinder during shooting Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and how it was a total waste of time as his friends downloaded it for him and he felt bad to swipe left! While Katrina Kaif has never really admitted to dating Ranbir on various occassions, Kapoor in the recent past, has stated about their relationship. On the same show, Ranbir even admitted on accepting the perception of the world to see him as a playboy.

“I think unfortunately because of the two actresses I was in a relationship with and because of a certain film I did very early on in my career, people have this perception that I’m a playboy and a serial dater. Sona (Erica Fernandes) and Ranveer’s bhabhi talk about Neha-Ranveer’s relationship and how they can mend it. Sona walks in the room and finds Ishwari crying. She tells her that she understands what Ishwari (Supriya Pilgaonkar) is going through when Ishwari cries asking when Neha will be happy in her life. She talks about the concept of divorce and how the society taunts a divorced woman. Sona brings up the topic of discussing the topic again when Ishwari says that she knows Neha very well and will not let her go anywhere now. Sona expresses her concern about Neha not being happy after the divorce. Ishwari says that Neha has sacrificed a lot of for the family and she won’t let her compromise anymore.

Ishwari then tells Sona, again, that she understands Neha better and if she has decided anything for Neha, she needs to understand that this house and the family is different. Sona is working as Dev (Shaheer Sheikh) comes in the room and kisses her on the head. Sona wants to discuss something with him but he stops her and starts flirting with her instead. They are just about to kiss as Kichu knocks on the door informing that Ranveer has come. Sona stops Dev and tells him about her discussion with Ranveer’s bhabhi. Ranveer scolds Sona for talking to his family about Neha. He further adds that he doesn’t want to drag the family into everything. Radha yells at Sona for interfering in the matter despite everyone asking her to stay out of it. Ranveer calls Sona a fool and Dev loses it. He insults Ranveer calling him egoistic. Neha enters asking why Ranveer came and the three get into a heated argument. Ranveer leaves and Radha gets a chance to taunt Sona. Ishwari also reminds her that she had asked her to stay out of it. Neha also lashes out at her and storms in her room. Ishwari tries talking to her but she asks her to leave her alone. Ishwari and Neha hug it out. Neha asks why Sona is doing all of this and that she made the wrong choice marrying Ranveer.

Ishwari consoles her and says that everything is her fault as she never stopped her from marrying Ranveer. Sona tells Dev that she never thought that things will get so complicated and he hugs her saying that he knows what her intentions were. Despite Sona’s attempts to pacify things, Dev is still mad at Ranveer for everything. Sona tells him that she doesn’t think she will ever be a part of his family despite her many tries. She makes a joke and they sort things out between them.

Rishi (Ssharad Malhotra) and family are shocked to see a woman open the hotel room door. Raaj asks her where the other guy is and they hear another guy’s voice. The couple clarify that they are married to each other and that they have been staying in the room since the last day. Raaj justifies it to Rano saying that he had seen Malaika go in the room. Manpreet suggests that they ask the hotel staff about it. Raaj asks the manager if he had seen Malaika go in the room and he refuses to recognise her. Raaj insists but the manager fails to recognise her. They then ask the receptionist if she has seen Malaika and Shekhar sneakily drags her asking about everything that’s happening.

Shekhar tells her that he has tipped the manager and changed the register records so she doesn’t have to worry about a thing. She leaves him and comes back to the reception area only to see that Raaj and Rishi haven’t found her name in the register at all. Raaj and Rano start bickering when Rishi stops them requesting them to not fight in public. At home, Beeji and Divya are talking about marriage and everything that just happened. Just then, Sweetie attends a call as everyone walks in. Beeji is elated to see Rishi and Tanuja (Kratika Sengar) walk in together. She stops them and tells them that Tanuja will enter the house after the grahpravesh ritual. Rano stops her saying that no such ritual will take place. Sweetie tries to talk to Rano but she brushes her off. Beeji and Rano bicker about Tanuja. Rano tells Beeji everything that happened, much to Malaika’s triumph. Raaj disagrees with her saying that he never misunderstood anything. Raaj reminds her of all the times her tried talking to Rano about Malaika. Tanuja walks out when Rano says that she has Bani and Neha’s flithy blood in her. She goes inside a room and cries thinking about her fate.

Malaika walks in and starts crying. Tanuja justifies whatever happened, hugs her and apologises to her. Malaika tells her that she betrayed her when Tanuja tells what Raaj told her. Malaika asks her why she never called her to confirm when Tanuja says that everything happened so fast that she never got a chance to inform her. She asks Malaika why she didn’t call since she knew that she was getting late and asks if anyone is troubling her. Malaika denies having any boyfriend and asks Tanuja if she also believes Raaj instead of her.

Tanuja says that she doesn’t know who is lying and who is not but she just knows that she didn’t do anything. Malaika blames her for snatching her rights from her and tells her that she hates her. Malaika thinks to herself that Shekhar was and will always be in her life and that she will marry Rishi someday. Sweetie finally manages to tell Rano and everyone else about Raaj suffering from Alzheimer’s disease.

The third Luxury Budget task, Raja Aur Rank has made things interesting inside the Bigg Boss house. Plus to raise the mercuries even further Bigg Boss has assigned the celebrities a secret task in which they have to capture the commoners in 12 moments orchestrated by the celebrities. And it has definitely worked for we saw quite a few heated arguments between the housemates in last night’s episode of Bigg Boss 10. First we saw how Manveer Gurjar and Nitibha Kaul got into an ugly verbal spat, then the same Manveer got into a squabble with Lopamudra Raut. Gosh, the guy was certainly not in the very best of his moods.

Anyway, both the tasks are still on and surely it’s going to cause even more fights amongst the housemates. But if you are not able to watch tonight’s telecast of Bigg Boss 10 then fret not, as we have the Live updates sorted right here on BollywoodLife. Take a look:

The Royal Kingdom and its subjects woke up to Nazre Mili Dil Dhadka welcoming the second day of the luxury budget task. Worried about plots to snatch his mighty throne, Om Swami and his royal family were grumpy about having slept in the living room to protect the kingdom.

Quite vexed about this, Manveer pointed out Swami’s insecurity which earned the royal karmachaaris a good night’s rest. Rohan Mehra insisted that he wanted to help Manoj to put his clothes and after a lot of pleading, Manoj agreed. But, Nitibha got annoyed with Rohan because he was taking his role too far. Manoj felt that Rohan is playing a game by showering the men with attention, but remains unperturbed by it.

Meanwhile in the kitchen, Rohan unknowingly stabbed Bani J with a knife, after which she started bleeding. Obviously, she lost her shit and lashed out at her teammates. Rohan, who was guilty started crying and later apologised to Bani, who didn’t really accept his sorry. Sad.

Making the task more interesting, commoners planned a Rajya Abhishek of Om Swami. The celebrities readily agreed because it gives them an opportunity to complete their secret task. Just to annoy Lopa, Nitibha ordered her to bring her crown for this ceremony, but Lopa flatly refused. This led to another argument between the two ladies. Gosh, will they ever become friends? Guess not.

The Rajya Abhishek ceremony began with Om Swami taking a dip in the swimming pool. The royal subjects, i.e. the celebrities followed it up with a milk bath, and concluded the ceremony with a special bath organized for Swami in the Jacuzzi where sevikas Mona Lisa and Lopa helped him out. The Rajya Abhishek ceremony finally came to a close with Nitibha crowning the king and everyone leading him back to his throne.

Adding some fun to the task, Rohan prompted Lokesh Kumari Sharma that they must escape since people will not accept their love. He took her to the swimming pool saying that he was willing to jump in for their love’s sake. And, while Rohan stealthily slipped out of the way, Bani J successfully pushed Lokesh into the pool (this was a part of the secret task). When Om Swami got to know about this, he got really annoyed with both Lokesh and Rohan and decided to punish them after subjecting them to his wrath.

Later Bigg Boss announced that the celebrities have won the secret task thereby becoming the maaliks again. Yay.

As the day progressed, we saw Nitibha give a massage to Lopa. Yep, you read that right! Lopa is taking full advantage of her new found power, and we love it, don’t we?

With all the drama that unfolded, tonight’s episode of Bigg Boss 10 was certainly a very good watch. We give it a Garma Garam on our Masala Meter.

Shah Rukh Khan is celebrating his 51st birthday today. That is 51 years of being pure awesome! Certainly a time to celebrate for the actor along with his family and close friends. And so he did. While the market for Indian made animation films is quite less in India, there have been quite a few homegrown projects in recent years. Some of them are Char Sahibzaade ( a huge hit) and Motu Patlu the film that released a week back. Contiloe Pictures is also releasing its film, Mahayoddha Rama on November 4. The animation film talks about the epic battle between Lord Rama and Raavan. The film is produced by Contiloe Pictures, which is behind TV shows like Sankatmochan Mahabali Hanuman, Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat and Maharana Pratap. The firm is headed by Abhimanyu Singh.

The film aims to tell the story of Ramayana and cast more light on the character of Raavan. Celebrities like Kunal Kapoor, Mouni Roy, Jimmy Shergill and Gulshan Grover are associated with the project. The actress was also a part of the promotions for the film are all radio stations. People who have seen the project have appreciated it so far. The actress shared a poster from the film with her as Sita. The TV diva looks gorgeous in the green outfit with jewellery.

This is the first time that Mouni has given her voice to an animation film. The actress shared her excitement on her Instagram account. Swaragini begins with Gayatri asking Sanskar (Varun Kapoor) what’s is happening. She sees his tight grip on Swara’s (Helly Shah) wrist. She says there was some problem so Sir got angry. Gayatri tells Sanskar not to be angry as people from lower level of society have right to make mistakes. She tells Swara that her guests are getting bored so arrange for some dance and music. Swara tells Nikhil (Pratap Hada) to call the folk dancers. Ragini (Tejaswi Prakash Wayagankar) tells Nikhil that she needs to find Swara.

Chirag (Manoj Chandila) makes an entry and everyone is happy to see him. Sujata (Sonica Handa) gets him introduced. Gayatri scolds her son for being late. Sujata gets Sanskar and introduces Chirag to Sanskar praising him. Gayatri says my son is like Shravan Kumar and is very obedient. Sujata gets upset hearing this. Gayatri says Sanskar is a nice boy and has made great arrangements. Ragini says the lady with butterfly tattoo is in the party. She says she will try to find her while Swara oversees arrangements.

Uttara comes down. The dance begins with folk dancers. One of the girls fall down, she is the one with the butterfly tattoo. She gets injured and is unable to dance. Gayatri tells Swara that she has made a blunder and needs to compensate. Swara says sorry Aunty. Gayatri says do not call me Aunty. Sujata tries to pacify Gayatri, who is throwing her weight around. Sanskar tries to intervene but she stops him. Ragini runs behind the girl but she tries to escape. Swara comes before her and the girl halts. She tells her to confess where is Laksh (Namish Taneja). The girl says yes we do steal wallets and mobile phones. Swara says we will not complain against you but tell us where is Laksh.

She says she met Laksh when he was lying injured by the wayside. She got close to him and realised that he was still breathing. He had got up and was walking towards the road when he got hit. The car owner took him to the hospital after the accident. She tells them the name of the hospital. Ragini calls up the hospital and asks about Laksh. The nurse says there is no patient with this name. She is distraught.

Tusshar Kapoor became a father to a healthy boy through surrogacy back in June. Jr Mr Kapoor has been named Laksshya by his doting family. Up until now Tusshar has kept his son away from the eye of the media. No clear pictures of Laksshya have made been made public. But paparazzis have been able to click a few pics of the baby from a distance. But we guess Tusshar might be gearing up to share pics of his son soon, and his latest tweet is the next baby step in the process. The actor took to his social media account and shared the picture of his son’s onesie, and of course it is super cute. The onesie has super cute and witty text written on it – A Tusshar Kapoor production 2016. So cute! Hey Tusshar, can we please get to Laksshya already? We all are eagerly waiting.

For now we know that Laksshya is the apple of the eye of the entire Kapoor family. Tusshar is a doting father and fixes his schedule according to his son’s convenience. While talking to a news daily he said “He goes to sleep at 8 pm, and I step out of the house only after that. But there are days when I leave him with my parents because I want both of us to have a little space to breathe.”

Soon after the announcement of birth of his son, Tusshar attended a media interaction to talk about IVF technology. “I wanted to be a single parent, my dream has come true. My son looks exactly like me, so it makes me very happy. I have no words to express how excited or joyous I feel right now. It’s just your paternal instinct when you feel mentally that you are ready to become a father… Lot of people adopt, but I didn’t want to adopt, I wanted to have my own child.” he said the event.

Sayyeshaa Saigal, who made her big Bollywood debut in Shivaay said here on Wednesday that working in the film was a learning experience for her.

“For the first time, I saw a film camera on the set. I didn’t have any reference when I went to the set of Akhil (her first Telegu film)… I learnt there about the angles and lighting. However, of course, ‘Shivaay’ set up and the unit was much bigger … it was a very big learning experience for me,” she said in an exclusive interview.

Sharing the experience of working with Ajay Devgn, Sayyeshaa, 19, said, “The best part about Ajay Devgn sir is his calmness. In spite of being a superstar, he is such a humble person. If you ever have a tea with him, you won’t even realise he is such a big star.”

“As an actor he is spontaneous. He didn’t have to do rehearsals before the scenes which I learnt from him. He always used to tell me throw dialogues as if you would do at home. About the film’s feedback and the clash with Karan Johar’s “Ae Dil Hai Mushkil”, the actress said, “The comments which I received so far are good. Both the films are good so both will get a good run at box office.”

Sayyeshaa, who is the grandniece of veteran actors Dilip Kumar and Saira Banu, said she took tips from them about how to prepare before going on the set.

“They told me that how they used to prepare the dialogues before going to the set. They used to make notes putting right conjunctions between the lines. Saira ji suggested me to learn Odissi dance,” She said.

While she rubbished the news of being part of Salman Khan’s next or doing any single opposite Sushant Singh Rajput, Sayyeshaa said she has finalised one script which she will be announcing soon.

For actress Deepika Padukone, one of the biggest takeaways from her upcoming Hollywood venture xXx: Return of Xander Cage is the friendship of her co-star Vin Diesel and his sister Samantha.

Deepika says Diesel is the first peson she calls every time she is in Los Angeles. “He and his sister, Samantha, are to me what Shah Rukh (Khan) and Farah (Khan) were when I started out here. But early on I realised that the process is exactly the same. People are different. If you can make the relationships work, it’s all smooth sailing,” she says. Ghostbusters director Paul Feig and his wife Laurie have wished Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan on his 51st birthday.

Paul, who has also helmed films like The Heat and Spy, on Wednesday took to Twitter to wish the “amazing” Shah Rukh. “Happy Birthday to our friend, the amazing Shah Rukh Khan! Paul’s wife Laurie also wished the Happy New Year star. “Good morning India, it is Shah Rukh Khan’s birthday! Hoping your day is as sunny and glorious as his. Wishing him health, happiness always. Thrills, king,” she tweeted.

In an interview earlier, the Hollywood director had told IANS that he “would love” to make a film with the Indian superstar.

Back in May, when Shah Rukh hosted a star-studded dinner party for Apple CEO Tim Cook, Feig’s wife had tweeted: “Some day I hope Paul Feig can be welcome at Mannat! Dream, Shah Rukh Khan.”

Shah Rukh had then invited the couple over for a meal. The Spy director had then responded: “You’re on, Shah Rukh Khan! I’ll bring the ketchup. It would be an honour to meet you. Many thanks, my friend.”

Swaragini begins with Ragini (Tejaswi Prakash Wayagankar) calling up district hospital and inquiring about Laksh (Namish Taneja). They say that there is no patient with that name in our hospital. The tattooed girl says I am not lying. At Maheshwari mansion, Gayatri fumes that the wedding planner girls have done a shoddy job. She says I made a mistake employing them. Swara (Helly Shah) says Ragini you go to the hospital with Nikhil (Pratap Hada) to find out about Laksh. Inside, Gayatri screams enough is enough.

Swara starts dancing on Deewani Mastani much to the dismay of Maheshwari family members. Swara dances with tears and people offer her money. Sanskar feels terrible and shuts his eyes. Everyone clap for Swara’s performance. Gayatri gets up and puts a garland of notes on Swara’s neck. She says you are a better dancer than decorator, you should be dancing at functions only. Swara goes inside a room and cries. Durgaprasad and Annapurna enter in to console her. Annapurna says what was the need for all this, why did you get yourself humiliated like this. Durgaprasad says your actions have hurt us. They ask why did you not stop that dancer. She reveals that girl knew about Laksh so I had to let her go. She says I sent Ragini and Nikhil with the girl.

Ragini rushes inside the hospital and asks about Laksh. They show his snap and enquire. The nurse calls senior doctor. He says I did not know anything about him when he came in. We referred to him by his bed number. She calls up Swara and says we found out about him. Ragini says I want to meet him, I am desperate. The doctor says I cannot allow that as he has died three days back. He says no one enquired about him in six months so we cremated him yesterday. She sinks down on the floor.

Nikhil tells the doctor that how could they do it. The doctor says what we did was legally right. He says we did everything right from giving ads in local papers to everything. Ragini leaves the hospital in tears. She gets flashback of all memories. Nikhil tries to console her. He gets a call from Swara and is about to tell her everything. But Ragini remembers Swara’s promise and says that Laksh is not here. She says he has escaped from here. Ragini says I hope you did not mention about Laksh to his parents. Swara says I did. Ragini says tell them that Ragini is only mildly disappointed and has full faith that he will be back soon.

Swara says you wanted to hide truths from me so you cut the phone. She looks behind to see Sanskar. He asks you look so unhappy what happened Swara. Sanskar says you must be thinking about Nikhil. Swara yes, what is your problem. He says do not get upset, just wait for a few days then you can spend all your time with Nikhil. Angry, Swara says do not interfere in my personal life, I am only a wedding planner here. Nikhil says Ragini why did you lie to Swara. Stay tuned for more updates on Bollywood Life….

The Dixit family is celebrating Diwali and decorating the house with diyas. Dev (Shaheer Sheikh) helps Sona (Erica Fernandes) with a two plates full of diyas. Mamaji captures Sona and Dev decorating the rangoli with diyas as Radha manipulates Ishwari saying that Sona is snatching away Ishwari’s rights from her. Ishwari (Supriya Pilgaonkar) calls Sona to light some diyas with her and blesses her. Neha looks on as Mamaji tells Dev that he is proud of his choice (Sona). Sona tells Dev how happy everyone was today but Dev seems lost. He reminisces about his childhood Diwalis and how they never really had enough money to buy firecrackers. Sona tells him that they should something special for everyone.

Mamaji walks in to find Ishwari counting clothes and blankets to give to the poor. She tells him that she is happy that even though Dev is an athiest, he comes with her to the temple to donate blankets to the poor. In the morning, everyone wishes everyone a Happy Diwali and Sona also seeks everyone’s blessings. Dev enters screaming Happy Diwali and gets food and gifts for everyone in the family. He gives everyone the gifts except Neha who sits feeling left out. Dev says that this was Sona’s idea when Mamaji thanks him. Dev, then, gives Neha her gift which is a doll. She looks at the gift disappointed when he reminds her that she always wanted this doll. Neha finds a bracelet inside and thanks Dev saying it’s beautiful. He tells Ishwari that he bought some extra blankets and they’ll go to the temple this year, too. Meanwhile, at the Bose house, everyone is excited about Diwali and Elena asks Sourabh about his interview. Bejoy and Sourabh bicker about Sourabh’s answers in the interview. Everyone in the Dixit family is preparing for Diwali and Dev goes to flirt with Sona when he finds her alone in the kitchen. Mamaji urges everyone to burst the crackers as Elena comes home with gifts from the Bose family.

Vicky tells Elena that he knows she likes her and wishes her a Happy Diwali. He holds a rassi bomb in his hand, lights it and asks her to say that she likes him. She refuses when the bomb bursts in his hand. She drags him to the kitchen to clean his hand when he flirts with her. Elena gets a call from Sourabh and gets out of the situation. Sona finds out from Sourabh that Dev sent some gifts to Sona’s house, too. Sona and Dev flirt with each other for sometime.

Ae Dil Hai Mushkil is one of those films that will make you nostalgic about things you really don’t want to remember at all. Even with all the flaws the film stood out and attempted to portray one-sided love in a way that only Karan Johar can think of. There were a lot of cameos in the film including Imran Abbas, Alia Bhatt, Shah Rukh Khan and Lisa Haydon. While SRK’s performance made us fall flat on the floor with awe, Lisa Haydon‘s was one cameo in Ae Dil Ha Mushkil that one can just not forget. Even if she was in the movie for hardly 10 minutes, she did a magnificent job of making us laugh unlike all the other characters in the film. Though her character reminded us of Evelyn Sharma in Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani a tad bit, Lisa definitely stood out in the film.

My favourite part was when she sang ‘Sauna Kitna Sauna Hai’ (You’ll know if you’ve watched the film) and of course, her ‘Vaatvaran’ dialogue in the film too. The actress added glamour in the film when it was in dire need of some sparkle and glamour. Honestly, she did not come across as a gold digger to me in the movie at all. I think you need the perfect comic timing to play Lisa’s character and she did it perfectly. Forget about her playing a rich bimbo in the film who has a posh lifestyle but all her outfits in the film were just drool-worthy. The actress has done cameos and supporting roles before but will definitely be remembered for this. Not because she played a bimbo but because she played the character so well.  She managed to make us laugh when none of those characters made us do anything but keep a straight face. Even her exit in the film was hilarious and I can’t help but thank KJo for casting this tall and sexy actress in the film. No one could have pulled it off as good as her and I know you guys will agree with me on this.

Lisa got married to her long time boyfriend Dino Lalvani in a beautiful beach wedding a month after announcing her marriage. Rano freaks out when she finds out about Raaj’s disease. Just then, the delivery boy gets Raaj’s test reports that says that he has Alzheimer’s disease in the second stage. Raaj walks in asking why everyone is staring at him when Rishi (Ssharad Malhotra) hugs him. Just then, Divya says that the medicines that Raaj takes can cause hallucinations. Rano scolds him for hiding everything from him. Raaj justifies saying that he thought he will just take the medicines and be alright. He says that he did not want to ruin the wedding preparations. He tells everyone that Tanuja took him to the doctor and took care of him.

Divya says that Tanuja (Kratika Sengar) took advantage of Raaj’s disease and meddled with his brains. Tanuja says that she is wrong but Rano lashes out at her saying Divya is right. She accuses Tanuja of giving Raaj an overdose of the medicine to make him act like she wants them to. Tanuja justifies saying that she just took him to the doctor. Beeji cross questions Tanuja when she realises her mistake of believing Raaj. She looks at Rishi who looks away. She tells everyone that she hasn’t done anything and that she did just what Raaj asked her to do. Tanuja tries to justify herself when Rano stops her. Tanuja looks at Rishi again when Malaika goes and stands next to Rishi. He stops Rano when she drags Tanuja to throw her out of the house. Rishi tells Rano that his watch is stuck in Tanuja’s attire which is why he stopped her. He tries to remove it when Malaika butts in and breaks her bangle saying now they have broken all relationship. Rano drags her when Raaj stops her but she doesn’t listen to him. Rishi gets a memory of his childhood with Tanu. Rano throws her out of the house asking her to never show her face again. Raaj goes and stands next to her saying he will leave the house if Tanuja leaves. He tells everyone that if anything wrong happened with the marriage, he was responsible for it and not her.

He sticks to what he saw and says that Tanuja is like his daughter and gets her back in the house. He requests Rishi to understand and look into his heart. He says that Tanuja is the only one meant for him. Raaj is screaming and doesn’t stop despite Tanuja’s requests to calm down. Rano blames Tanuja for breaking the family when Raaj yells at her saying Malaika is the one who is breaking the family. Raaj collapses as the entire family takes him inside. Tanuja follows them when Rano stops her saying that if she has any shame left, she will leave them right away.
