After killing Shivanya (Mouni Roy) and thinking that Shivangi is dead, the family rejoices. Sesha wants to get married to Rocky by hook or by crook. She keeps stressing upon getting her married to him asap. Mahisvati and Yamini just galore upon the death of Shivanya and Shivangi’s death. Prem ras leke but yeh khud prem chopra ban gayi, says Sesha when suddenly Yamini slaps Rocky’s cousin as they want him to get married to someone. Shivangi is at the shiv mandir, asking Guru if she is a naagin herself as she sees instances of how she got saved since childhood. However, Guru refuses and tells her it takes 100 years of chanting before one naagin is born. And Shivangi hasn’t even turned 25 yet. But Shivangi insists. She wants revenge.
A collapsed Yamini (overacting has a wish from Rocky and that is (obviously) to see Rocky married to someone. She guilt trips him by telling him that she has done a lot for him and he won’t do the same because he just can’t marry anyone else as he still loves Shivangi. Rocky friendzones Sesha and tells her that he will marry anyone but not her. He doesn’t love her and he knows that she loves him. He tells her that he has fallen in love and he can’t do it again. He will only marry anyone for Yamini and just her. But he won’t be able to give in to the relationship like a husband. Sesha doesn’t mind. She tries to cajole him. He burns her by saying that she’ll never be able to replace Shivangi. Sesha tells she doesn’t want to replace her. Rocky accepts the proposal, just like that!
Happy by the acceptance of her proposal, Sesha hugs Yamini. They give each other air kisses as Yamini doesn’t want to hug her. That’s practically the classiest thing they’ve done in this show ever since it’s genesis. Finally the engagement ceremony takes place. So Yamini calls Sesha Kaali naagin in front of Rocky but he couldn’t care less. Wow. Shivangi on the other hand, reaches Rocky’s residence and wants to talk to him. Shivangi ends up seeing him get betrothed to Sesha, I mean, Ruchika, for him. A hurt Shivangi weeps and hears Rocky make a toast to his love is mistaken by her as she thinks he has always only loved Ruchika. His speech gets a little too stretched to deal with but thank god he looks good for we just didn’t mind staring at him.
Yamini’s puns just don’t seem to end. He takes the bottle of champagne and leaves the venue. Shivangi is still there, crying and nobody notices her. So Harry Potter’s invisibility cloak does work. She goes back to the shiv mandir and does a choreographed number with vengeance lurking in her head. Suddenly she falls down as a serpent comes by and plays the flute. Shivangi moves closer to the Shivalinga and holds it. As soon as she does that, as though the Lord pushed her, she flies to the other corner of the room and falls down. Froth keeps coming out of her mouth as she writhes in pain. Suddenly, she’s fine again. Now Shivangi is wondering what on earth happened to her.
After the whole drama that takes place in the mandir, Shivangi’s cousin walks in and tells her that Rocky and family are leaving forever. As soon as she hears this, Shivangi runs and sees the cars move. Persistent on getting her revenge from them, Shivangi runs behind the car (almost like Milkha). But they manage to beat her. Once again, she repeats her vengeance rant and vows to kill them. Shivangi then starts packing her bag as she also wants to go to Mumbai and find and kill Rocky and his family. She and her cousin go to Panchmer’s castle to find out more about Shivanya and herself. At the nick of the time whens she is about to open the door, her cousin freaks out and absconds! Just like that. Suddenly all concerns are thrown out of the window. But hey, we’re no one to judge.
When she enters the house, she starts hearing voices of Ritik and Shivanya calling each other out. Shivangi enters a room and is surrounded by snakes. She too freaks out by that incident and runs. But just as she’s leaving, she sees a book with Yamini’s face on it. Confusing her with Rocky’s mother, she wonders what Shivanya’s past is all about. Again, her rant starts, the whole ‘inteqaam’ shiz. The episode ends there! That was a little sad. Anyway, stay tuned to this space and we’ll get you next week’s episode updates!

After a desi style party with her New York friends, Priyanka has now taken time out for her family. They are holding a special Diwali pooja since it’s her nephew Krishna’s first Diwali! Jake McLaughlin (Ryan), Yasmine Al Massri( Nimah) and singer Jay Sean apart from the rest of the crew were present. They followed the traditional code perfectly. Sigh, we just can’t get over her blouse. Reportedly, the guests were treated to a desi dinner followed by Indian desserts. Well, abroad or home, she sure knows how to bring in the festivities. So, like we told you yesterday, Ajay Devgn made it to The Kapil Sharma Show for promoting his directorial venture Shivaay, and he came along with his gorgeous, ever a sport wife, Kajol! They really played along and had a lot of fun. They were awesome together and we got to know one thing, Ajay Devgn is a major prankster! Yes, last night, he actually wet this guy’s pants by pouring water and he also suggested a woman( from the audience)on clever ways to stop her husband from cheating on her. Kapil talked a lot about Shivaay with the couple and Kajol gave out some candid answers, especially when she was asked about what she felt about Ajay Devgn’s intimate scene with Erika. Tonight, it continued with couple, who sat down to play the popular quiz show. They were asked some funny question that specially cracked Kajol up. Post Kajol’s exit, Kapil asked Ajay Devgn some tricky questions on production since he himself wants to venture into production someday. He asked him a funny question -if an actor who plays a villain in the movie, was shot earlier than expected would his fee reduce? (Haha) He then brings up the the fact that Ajay Devgn has 300 pairs of shoes! Yeah, that’s right. But wait a minute why is Ajay Devgn still on the show even after Kajol has left it? It’s because the rest of the Shivaay team – Erika, Abigail and Sayyeshaa Saigal are here!
So the first question Kapil asked Erika was her complete name which just wasn’t possible to pronounce! That’s when they made a contest out of it – random people from the audience were asked to pronounce her name. They then move on to Abigail aka Abs who Ajay Devgn can’t stop gushing about. In fact, he narrated one touching incident about her. Then Kapil interacted with Abs, finally he says ” My English has expired.” Then Kapil brings up the tent scene and asks Ajay if the scene was originally part of the script. That’s when Ajay asked him if he was in his place, what would he do? Kapil is like, ” At least you had only one scene” which implied he would had have more than one intimate scene if it was Erika! That’s when Kapil brought up the same scene with Erika who by the way didn’t know it was Ajay Devgn’s first kiss on screen! She rolled her eyes! Then he asked her who would decide if the shot was okay or not, when it came to an intimate scene like this one – That’s when Erika pointed fingers at Ajay Devgn. She enacted the scene where he would kiss and then between the scene, he would shout out – Cut and then he would go back to the scene and continue kissing! Haha, the way Erika explained it was too funny! Then Sayyeshaa Saigal made a stunning entry. She also danced to Afgan Jaledi and man, she was too good! Kailash Kher and Mithun Sharma also showed up on the show. Kailash Kher sang a few lines form his famous song – Teri Deewani. Kiku Sharda and Sunil Grover had a lot of fun with both singers.

IANS had reported about Deepika’s Diwali plans before. “Diwali is the festival of lights, joy and happiness and has always been a very special festival for all of us. So I decided to spend quality time with my family before I immerse myself in ‘Padmavati’,” Deepika said in a statement. Interestingly, the family members’ names also signify light: father Prakash, mother Ujjala and sister Anisha. The meaning of Deepika’s name is also light. Last year, the actress was busy promoting her film, Tamasha, this year she spent it with her family. As Deepika doesn’t have any upcoming film this year, it has become rather easy for her to keep Diwali free for family. Now that she is back in Mumbai, Deepika will soon be starting the shoot for Padmavati, helmed by director Sanjay Leela Bhansali. She has earlier worked in his films like Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela and Bajirao Mastani. Padmavati also features actors Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor in key roles. We were the first ones to tell you that there is a Pakistani actor who is afraid his scenes from Ae Dil Hai Mushkil will get chopped owing to the ban on Pakistani artistes after the Uri attack. He is Imran Abbas, the man with perfect features who debuted with Bipasha Basu’s Creature 3D. He had urged people to watch Ae Dil Hai Mushkil while lamenting on Facebook how he isn’t sure his scenes will make the final cut. Now the film has released and we did see him in it. It was a short role but watching such a handsome face on screen was definitely a high for us. We thought the guy will now be happy that his scenes were part of the film but turns out it isn’t what it looks like. He again mentioned on Facebook that four of his scenes were canned. Now those who haven’t watched the film yet, it might come as a spoiler. So read at your own discretion. Imran plays Anushka’s family friend in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil who goes on a double date with Ranbir and Lisa Haydon. There are perhaps two scenes of him in the film and a song. He is part of the breakup song, which is also a double date sequence. Imran posted a video of him practising the moves of the song on his Facebook account. Watching that someone commented below saying, “Let’s see you dance tomorrow meray baitay.” To this he replied, “4 scenes are not even the in the movie Rabiya!!! Enjoy the remaining few ones .” We couldn’t shake off the sense of hurt in that reply for someone who was hoping a lot it seems from the film. Check the exchange here once again.

We can understand his concern. It’s not everyday that you get a chance to work in a big production like Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. It has the likes of Karan Johar, Ranbir Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan attached to it. It definitely is next big step towards making a mark in the industry. But with four scenes gone, he is definitely a bit sad. And with Karan too pledging to not engage with talent from across the borders, chance of him bagging another Bollywood film looks bleak.
Tanu blames Pragya (Sriti Jha) for ruining the mehendi and refuses to believe her when Pragya says that it was an accident. They have a verbal spat about everything that happened downstairs. Tanu drags Pragya to throw her out of the house when Abhi walks in demanding an explanation. Abhi (Shabir Ahluwalia) tells Tanu that it was his mistake and she is just making an unnecessary issue. Pragya leaves her hand and Tanu raises her hand to slap her. Abhi holds her hand and asks her how dare she raise a hand on Pragya. He tells her that Pragya is more than just a secretary and supports her. He swears to protect Pragya from everything and accuses Tanu of indirectly insulting him.
Tanu loses her cool when Abhi starts yelling at her and calls off the mehendi. (Yayy!!) Pragya stands over there reminiscing about their moments together and in awe that he supported her. Sarla, Daadi and everyone are happily discussing about Pragya and Abhi. Purab just enters when they give him all the details about the mehendi ceremony drama. Purab is very happy to hear everything. They joke about Tanu’s mother when she gets up asks them why they are laughing. Purab makes an excuse to drive her away. Tanu tells Aaliya about how Abhi supported Pragya and Aaliya scolds her for ruining the entire plan. She tells her her ego and anger keeps ruining the entire plan and Tanu asks her to somehow get them married. Aaliya wonders how she will face Daadi and others and swears to somehow win the challenge. Aaliya asks Tanu to apologise to Abhi for her behaviour. Aaliya wonders if she underestimated Pragya and swears to not let her win. Tanu goes and apologises to Abhi for her behavious and requests him to not cancel the function. He asks her to apologise to Pragya instead and Tanu grudgingly agrees. Sarla and Daadi get emotional with Pragya when they see Abhi enter with Tanu. Her worried mother asks her about the mehendi function and Abhi rudely drives her away. Tanu apologises to Pragya again more politely and a shocked Pragya forgives her. She turns to Abhi who then decides to begin the mehendi ceremony. Aaliya is relieved that the mehendi is finally going to happen and decides to get the mehendi quickly before anything else happens. Purab tells Pragya that Abhi cancelling his mehendi for her is a sign that he still likes her.

Deepika has just returned to Mumbai after celebrating Diwali with her family. “Diwali is the festival of lights, joy and happiness and has always been a very special festival for all of us. So I decided to spend quality time with my family before I immerse myself in ‘Padmavati’,” Deepika said in a statement. Interestingly, the family members’ names also signify light: father Prakash, mother Ujjala and sister Anisha. The meaning of Deepika’s name is also light. Last year, the actress was busy promoting her film, Tamasha, this year she spent it with her family. As Deepika doesn’t have any upcoming film this year, it has become rather easy for her to keep Diwali free for family. Now that she is back in Mumbai, Deepika will soon be starting the shoot for Padmavati, helmed by director Sanjay Leela Bhansali. She has earlier worked in his films like Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela and Bajirao Mastani. Padmavati also features actors Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor in key roles.

Sona (Erica Fernandes) advises Dev (Shaheer Sheikh) to not take a wrong decision hastily and consoles him. Sona and Elena discuss marriage when Sona gives Elena a cheque to deposit in Bejoy’s account. Elena refuses to do it but Sona convinces her saying that she will start working again. Dev is frustrated of calling Ranveer and lashes out at Tina asking her to get information as soon as possible. Sona tries to discuss Neha with Ishwari (Supriya Pilgaonkar) who tells her again that she has still not understood people in the house and asks her to stay away from the issue. Sona agrees and asks if she can join her work soon. Ishwari agrees to it and gives her a thumbs up.
Dev reaches Ranveer’s office angrily demanding why he hasn’t been answering the calls. Ranveer tells him that he tried to reconcile but Neha always humiliated him. Dev also taunts him about not doing well in life and gives him house keys to a house that he bought for Ranveer and Neha. Ranveer refuses to accept it when Dev threatens him. Ranveer tells him that if Neha wants a divorce, she will get it. Dev leaves saying that he will have to speak to his lawyer. He runs into Sona on the way who is on a Scooty. She flirts with him asking if they can go for a ride and a coffee later. Dev parks his car and goes for a ride on the scooty with her. Sona tells Dev that she is planning to join her work again and Dev acts like he is mad at her decision, almost scaring her. Dev says that Neha will not sacrifice anymore and that he will explain to her. He asks Sona to stay out of it. Dev and Sona flirt with each other in the morning. Sona brings up Neha again by saying that she wished even Neha experienced these beautiful things in a relationship.

Raaj agrees to do the kanyadaan ceremony leaving everyone shocked about his decision. Tanuja (Kratika Sengar) asks Raaj why Malaika isn’t here yet but he fools her by telling her that she is on her way. Rishi (Ssharad Malhotra) and Tanuja hold hands when he gets the strange feeling again. Rishi looks at Tanuja, thinking it’s Malaika, suspiciously and wonders why he is feeling strange. He is just about to take the ghoongat off when Raaj stops him by asking why he isn’t wearing a watch. Rishi shows him the watch and diverts everyone. The pandit calls Rano for the ghatbandhan and she happily does it. Rano whispers to Raaj asking him how he is suddenly so affectionate towards his daughter-in-law.
The pandit asks them to stand for the pheras and Tanuja doesn’t stand. Ahana holds her and helps her get up for the pheras. She wonders why she helped Malaika thinking it’s Tanu when she doesn’t even like Tanuja. Rishi is wondering why Manpreet hasn’t found Tanuja yet and Manpreet is busy looking for her. Tanuja and Rishi take the pheras. Tanuja gets flashbacks of her last birth when she got married to Rishi and made a promise to protect him all the time. Rishi reminisces of all the promises that Tanu made to it about returning in his life again. They finish the pheras and sit on the altar for other rituals. Rishi ties the mangalsutra around Tanuja’s neck and she can’t help but feel good. He is about to fill sindoor on her head as Raaj is worried about everyone seeing her face. Malaika enters and finds out through a waiter that someone else has been sitting on the altar with Rishi. Malaika falls on some entangled wires and the lights in the house turn off. Raaj urges Rishi to fill her head immediately and just as he puts sindoor on her head and uses a matchstick to see Tanuja’s face. He is shocked to see when the lights come back. Everybody in the house is shocked as pandit announces the they are husband and wife now.

Salman Khan literally ruled our TV screens with the Diwali Special episodes of Bigg Boss 10 over the weekend. And with Akansha Sharma’s elimination from the Bigg Boss house, team common man has lost yet another crusader. Now that the weekend is over, it’s time for us to enter the third week of Bigg Boss 10. And since it’s Monday, we will get to witness yet another nominations ki prakriya in tonight’s telecast of the high voltage reality show.

Marking the dawn of a new day, the housemates woke up dancing to the tunes of the song Ole Ole, not knowing what’s in store for them. After a session of Hanuman Chalisa chants, Manoj Punjabi and Manveer Gurjar tried to pull a fast on Om Swami as they told him that he won’t be the person going to jail this time around. Rather, Manoj will be the one accompanying Mona Lisa. Taking advantage of this situation, Navin pulled Manoj’s leg telling Swami, and indirectly Manoj, that if Mona is his daughter, then Manoj becomes his son. So, technically both of them would be siblings. With a smirk on his face, Om Swami agreed with Navin leaving Manoj flabbergasted.
Washing away the stress of the week gone by, Mona Lisa decided to take a cooling dip in the swimming pool, with Manoj looking on admiringly. On noticing this, Manveer nudged Om Swami to go for a dip as well, to which he replied that he doesn’t like doing such things. But, when Om Swami saw Mona and Lokesh in the pool, he changed his mind and jumped into the pool. Seeing Swami dance and throw flowers at Mona while saying Devi Ki Jai Ho, Manoj got really jealous and, through gestures, asked Mona to come out. Just to have some fun, Lopamudra Raut asked Om Swami to walk on the pool’s water, but he refused while saying that it is not the right time to show such things. Haha, of course.
During lunch time, Manveer complained to the celebrities, who are currently the sevaks about the roti being too thick and questioned Lopa about who made it. When he found out that it was Mona Lisa, Manveer changed his stand by saying that the paratha’s are good. Not appreciating the comments that Manveer and Manoj were passing, Swami asked them to respect her efforts. Because of this, Manveer and Manoj got into a brawl with Swami for creating a misunderstanding amongst everybody. As the argument got intense, Manveer told everybody that Swami is being fake and that he speaks ill about the girls in the house, especially Bani (he questioned her growing friendship with Manveer) and Lopa. Upon hearing this, Swami told him that stop spreading rumours while claiming that he has never said anything wrong against anybody.
As the day proceeded, Bigg Boss announced the nominations with a new twist. This time around, the celebrities and commoners were asked to nominate two members from their own team while providing a suitable justification. Upon hearing this, every contestant’s demeanour changed because they didn’t know who is trustworthy and who is not.
Furthermore, Swami once again picked a fight with Lopamudra because she overheard a conversation that he was having with Bigg Boss. And, terrified that she will reveal his secret, Swami threatened her. Annoyed with the Om Swami’s tone, Lopa told him that he has no right to speak to her like that and that he needs to reserve his comments for himself.

We have entered into the third week of Bigg Boss 10 and things are just getting interesting by every passing day. In last night’s episode of the high voltage reality show, Om Swami, our very own self styled Godman hogged all the limelight thanks to his fights with Manveer Gurjar, Manoj Manu Punjabi and Lopamudra Raut. Bigg Boss also announced the nominations with a new twist. This time around, the celebrities and commoners were asked to nominate two members from their own team, and as it always has, they has the nominations were to be made with a suitable justification. Clearly, last night’s telecast was indeed a fun watch.
But it’s tonight’s episode of Bigg Boss 10that we have to watch out for, courtesy of the interesting third Luxury Budget task. What is it all about, you ask? Well, we’ll find out in a couple of minutes, but hey if you aren’t able to watch your favorite show tonight then fret not, as we have got the Live updates right here on BollywoodLife. Take a look:
As a fresh day dawned to Pak Chik Pak Raja Babu, it brought with it the anticipation of the looming luxury budget task. And whilst waiting for it to be announced, Swami engaged in planning the task with Manu, Manveer and Navin Prakash, thereby breaking an important rule of the Bigg Boss house. Will he go to the jail again? We wonder…
Meanwhile on the celebrity side, Karan Mehra turned peacemaker between Lopamudra Raut and Bani J and tried to ease the tension created due to the nominations ki prakriya that took place in yesterday’s episode of Salman Khan’s show.
As the drama intensified, Bigg Boss introduced the luxury budget task – a costume drama titled Raja aur Rank. In keeping with the flavour of the task, the commoners and celebrities transformed themselves into various characters belonging to a royal family. While the common folk got regal status, the celebrities were their obedient staff. In order to help them get into the skin of their respective characters, Bigg Boss supplied the housemates with special costumes which they had to wear for the task. But, in a twist of fate, the celebrities got an opportunity to turn tables on the commoners through a secret task where they had to capture the commoners in 12 moments orchestrated by the celebrities.
As the task began, the commoners faced a tough time in taking advantage of the celebrities especially with Swami Om and Nitibha’s constant bickering over the rules of the game. Even Manveer got tired of Nitibha’s endless taunting and ended up getting into a screaming match with her. Even Navin found himself at the receiving end of Nitibha’s temper. Swami ended up taking his role of a king too seriously, thereby annoying even his fellow royal family members.
Scared of losing the task, Manu took charge and attempted to bring some method to the madness. Manu’s day got better thereafter, when his closest friend Mona Lisa surprised him with a kiss on his cheek. Now before you get your thoughts running high, let us tell you that it was the part of the secret task given to celebrities.
Rahul Dev had to make Om Swami wear his personal clothes, but Om Swami refused and instead alleged that Rahul was trying to suffocate him with his scarf.
While Gaurav slowly and steadily pushed the celebrities to complete the secret task, Manu and Manveer found him too pushy and tried to get him put in jail under false accusations. But Gaurav smoothly escaped the punishment. When Bigg Boss supplied the celebrities with paints and massage oil to fuel the luxury budget task, Rohan found himself banished to jail for misbehaving with Nitibha while painting Swami’s picture. And, as Lopamudra approached Manveer with the massage oil, her intentions were misunderstood resulting in a battle of words between the two.
The luxury budget task has brought new hostilities inside the Bigg Boss house. Will the celebrities be able to turn tables on the commoners or will they fail at their secret task? We’ll find that out soon.
As far as tonight’s episode of Bigg Boss 10 goes, as we said earlier, it was definitely an entertaining watch. We give it a Garma Garam on our Masala Meter.
Swaragini begins with Sujata(Sonica Handa) admiring the decorations of Swara (Helly Shah) and Ragini (Tejaswi Prakash Wayagankar) for Uttara’s (Khyati Mangla) engagement party. Sujata says this must be Swara’s handiwork. Nikhil (Pratap Hada) says this was done by Swara and praises her. Sanskar (Varun Kapoor) feels bad. Swara stands outside Maheshwari mansion and remembers the time spent there with Sanskar. Ragini remembers her romantic moments with Laksh (Namish Taneja). Ragini gets teary eyed. Swara tells Ragini that she can understand her pain. She says I left the home because I could not live here without Laksh and you also supported me. She says some relationships have soured since then.
She says I want to enter in with confidence. Swara says things will be right this time round. They walk inside. She remembers Sanskar’s ultimatum and feels bad. They check out the decorations. Durgaprasad is about to bless the sisters when Gayatri walks in with her husband. Sujata asks where is Chirag. She says his flight is late and he will reach the venue directly. Gayatri asks Sujata where is your badi bahu. Annapurna (Shalini Kapoor) says she is at her parent’s home. Gayatri says this is not done, today is her sister-in-law’s engagement and she is missing. Once a girl marries her in-laws home is hers.
She says the wedding planner girls have done the place well. Swara tells the waiter to serve starters and says do not give sweet to Durgaprasad. Sanskar observes this from the corner. She collides with Nikhil in the corridor and tells him to work carefully. Sanskar overhears the conversation. He stops Swara. He says I told you that you are here only as a wedding planner, do not try to mend relations. He says just stay like a planner. She says you have learnt a lot in life haven’t you, please try to read my eyes as what you see can be deceptive. Let me stay here just like a planner. Do not think of me as your wife and show your anger. Upset, he pins her to a pillar and looks angrily into her eyes. She says leave me as people will not like it if we are caught together. Nikhil comes there and says sorry. Ragini bumps with a woman who has butterfly tattoo. Nikhil leaves saying he does not want to barge in. Sanskar says you have already come in between. He says thanks Nikhil for managing his problem. He says Swara is your childhood friend, you can go ahead and marry her. Nikhil says I am being polite as it is your sister’s engagement or else I would have replied appropriately. Swara says let us go from here. Sanskar grabs her arm and says stop. Gayatri comes there and is shocked to see this.
We are so damn excited for xXx: Return of Xander, releasing on January 20, 2017! Our beloved Deepika Padukone is making her Hollywood debut opposite action star Vin Diesel. Hollywood is already calling her the next big star. The latest trailer of the film showed Deepika playing with guns and doing a few action sequences. One would think Deepika must have go9ne through intensive physical training for this action packed role, but the actress says she was already all prepared. In an interview with Rajeev Masand, Deepika talks everything about her Hollywood venture, and at one point tells us that Bajirao Mastani prepared her for the role of Serena Unger in xXx.
When Deepika was questioned if xXx: Return of Xander Cage has been the most physically demanding role ever, she was quick to deny that. “Has this been the most physically demanding roles that you have played?” Rajeev asked. Deepika says “No. Actually Bajirao (Mastani) prepared me for this. Honestly I think Bajirao… I won’t’ even say Bajirao, I would say working with Sanjay Leela Bhansali has..kind of sets you up for the greatest of challenges. And yes Bajirao to an extent – from the physical point of view – I think the training that the film required, the kind of action that it required and whatever we went through in that movie, physically and emotionally prepared me to take this (xXx: RoXC).”
While xXx: Return of Xander Cage is gearing up for a January 20, 2017 release, Deepika and SLB are set to team up again with another venture titled Padmavati. The film is based on the popular legend of Rani Padmavati of Chittor, who self immolated to protect herself from being held captive by enemies after her husband, king Rawal Ratan Singh, died in a battle. Shahid Kapoor will play her husband in the film, and Ranveer Singh will play ruthless king Alauddin Khilji.
