Remember that iconic series Baywatch? You know…the one with running lifeguards. The show you wouldn’t dare to watch in front of your parents! The same series that made Chandler and Joey friends for lifetime in the show F.R.I.E.N.D.S.!

Well, the famed series is getting a reboot in form of a movie which will star Dwayne The Rock Johnson and Zac Efron. Unlike the serious television series, this will be more of a comedy like the 21 Jump Street reboot. The Rock will reprise David Hasselhoff’s character from the original, while it’s not sure who Zac will be reprising. It is said that his role will that be of a new lifeguard who joins the Rock’s band at the beach.

Now that the male parts are filled, everyone is interested in knowing who will play the female roles. After all, the original Baywatch was known to make icons out of its two stars Pamela Anderson and the late Nicole Eggert. Alexandra Daddario of True Detective fame, who was also seen with The Rock in San Andreas, will reprise Nicole’s role from the original.

As for Pamela’s, the lucky needle fell on super-model Kelly Rohrbach, who had been seen in Two and a Half Men and Rush, while also gracing the cover of 2015 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. She was also dating the Titanic star Leonardo DiCaprio, before they broke up recently.

Are you excited for A Flying Jatt?

Tiger Shroff is super excited for his upcoming flick, The Flying Jatt and we don’t blame him. He is on a spree posting pictures of himself working that oh-so-flexible body, leaving us wanting for more. The makers announced a while ago that the film will be released on August 25 this year and just a few hours later, Tiger posted this picture announcing the dates.

This will be Tiger’s first super hero flick. We all know how the Baaghi actor is inspired by the Bollywood’s Greek God Hrithik Roshan. Now, we will see him filling in his role model’s shoes as a superhero. Will he be able to impress masses with his stunts and act like Hrithik did in the Krrish franchise? Only time has the answer to this.

The photo shows choreographer turned director Remo D’souza and Tiger with their feet slightly above the ground. They indicate the number 25 with their fingers, hinting at the release date. Only their silhouettes are visible in this image, but fans can make out that they are Tiger and Remo.

The Flying Jatt will also have Jaqueline Fernandez playing the female lead. The movie sure seems to be exciting. Watch out for more updates about this film exclusively in this space.

Last year, Hrithik Roshan had a quiet birthday with only his close family members.  Yup, he did cut the cake in front of the fans and the media, but mostly he preferred to spend the special day with his family.

But this year, the Bang Bang heartthrob wants to ring in 2016 and his 42nd birthday with a total bang! The man is quite in a celebratory mood, as he plans to host a big bash at a hotel in Worli. The party that being held on January 10 is said to be starting by 9 pm. Not only that, the actor himself will be taking care of every detail of the party right from the menu, the place and the arrangements.

The guest list will include more that 200 people, with many of the industry biggies making an appearance as well as his close friends, like Kunal Kapoor and his wife, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, and others.

The actor will also be attending the pooja being held at his house the next day, followed by a private lunch with his family members, including his two sons, Hrehaan and Hridhaan.

The actor will be next seen in Mohenjo Daro, which is directed by Ashutosh Gowariker. The film is set in the pre-historic times, and Pooja Hegde will play his heroine. AR Rahman will compose the music for the film.

For starters, Malik doesn’t have the nicest things to say about his former group’s new music. Malik told Billboard that, as of late of November, he hadn’t listened to One Direction’s new album, Made In the A.M. He admitted the first single, “Drag Me Down,” was “quite cool,” but made a face when he brought up the second single, “Perfect,” and said, “Yeah, I didn’t buy that album.”

Malik, who’s working with Frank Ocean collaborator Malay on a solo album tentatively scheduled for this spring, says he’s also fallen out with a lot of his old crew. “I had every intention of remaining friends with everybody, but I guess certain phone numbers have changed and I haven’t received calls from a lot of people. I’ve reached out to a few of them and not got a reply. Certain people have pride issues, but it’s stuff you overcome in time.”

We told you how Mandana Karimi has been declared safe from the coming round of eliminations! In a surprising turn of events, the hottie escaped this week’s nominations and has been saved from getting eliminated until the next week! However, turns out she might not qualify into the finale week courtesy her upcoming porn-com, Kyaa Kool Hain Hum 3! Yes, that’s right! As per reports, Mandana will be evicted close to the film’s release i.e falling on Jan 22, as the makers of KKHH3 want her to be there for the last leg of promotions!

Confirming the same, recently evicted contestant Suyyash Rai too EXCLUSIVELY revealed to us the mystery behind Mandana’s role on Bigg Boss 9 and how she is likely to get eliminated on the 16th of Jan. He said, “I can give you in written and say Mandana is going to be out on the 16th, according to my calculation. Because 22nd January her film is releasing and they will take her out to promote the film, physically outside the Bigg Boss house! They can’t be playing only on Bigg Boss ka promotions. The film is all about Mandana so it’s but obvious she will be out!”

That’s not all! Proving further, we just got to hear that Mandana has even stepped out of the ‘ticket to finale’ task, leaving less chances of her going straight to the finale week! As Bigg Boss 9 gets closer to its finale, it was a tedious day for the contestants with everyone getting into the workman’s mode.Clearly not fond of each other, the day started with Priya and Rochelle venting out their anger against each other’s behavior relating to the previous day’s sand task. Priya mocked Rochelle and tried her best to get a reaction from Rochelle but the latter showed no interest! Seeing this, Prince even added saying that after the show, he will not be interested in staying in touch with Priya. Well, here’s a low down on all the events…

Rishabh’s game in trouble

Rishabh’s method of playing the game became the hot topic of discussion. While most of the housemates agreed that he did nothing during the task and played like a girl, Priya defended him by saying that it was his strategic thinking to remain inactive and make it till the end. However, Priya eventually found out that Rishabh is upset and even confessed to him that she thought his game was 80 percent defense and 20 percent attack and further gave him a pep talk saying that he is still strong in the game.

Fight for ticket to finale

Bigg Boss announced the next stage of the ‘Road to Finale’ week where Prince, Mandana and Kishwer had to enter designated fenced boxes, having assigned buzzers. The first one to press their buzzer gets disqualified from the ‘Road to Finale’ task but will be allowed to be back in the game. The second person to press the buzzer will have to leave the house with a total amount of Rs. 6 lakhs; while third person to press the buzzer will win the ticket to finale week. It could have been a terrible fight between the three hadn’t Mandana quit so easily! She quickly became the first one to press the buzzer and left the direct ticket to finale! Nevertheless, Prince and Kishwer still continue to be in the game…

Boycott Priya

During the task, Priya and Prince got into a heated argument where Priya taunted him about being a bad captain and being too image-conscious. This invited the wrath from Prince who then slammed Priya to shut her mouth as she has joined the game much later and has no right to pass comments on him. Hurt by Prince’s statement, Priya asked him if he meant that she is not an equal contender. That’s when Priya’s favorite Mandana intervened and irritated Priya by saying she entered the game mid-way and it definitely meant that she will not be able to match up to the level of other contestants.

Kishwer predicts Bigg Boss 9 runners’ up

Later in the evening, Kishwer then expressed her thoughts about the game to Prince saying all the contestants except Priya and Rishabh deserve to be in the competition as they have been around in the game since day 1. On the other hand, Rishabh and Priya are hoping that Bigg Boss does not terminate the task looking at the contestants’ determination.

Bigg Boss increases the prize money

Seeing that nobody is willing to budge and give up on the task, Bigg Boss increased the leaving amount from Rs. 6 lakhs to Rs. 8 lakhs. However, Prince and Kishwer still remained stubborn that they will not leave the house no matter how much amount is being offered. They won’t quit the game under any circumstances with only 2 weeks remaining for the finale.

Many important names in B-Town were seen walking the red carpet

The annual Star Screen Awards has kicked off and the star studded event is picking up steam. Many big faces are making an appearance at the prestigious award ceremony like Sonam Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Amitabh Bachchan with his spouse Jaya Bachchan, Tusshar Kapoor, Aftab Shivdasani and many more. But the ones who made the night alive are Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone.

The celebrity couple has entered the event. Ranveer Singh was looking particularly stylish and dashing in a grey DIOR HOMME suit. Accompanying the Bajirao was actress Sonakshi Sinha who was looking graceful and absolutely gorgeous in a flowing maroon dress with low shoulder straps. Deepika on the other hand posted pics on twitter showcasing her dress for the night. She was seen sporting a frilly white sleeve less dress which was broader at the waist and which accentuated her curves perfectly.

The young actor’s performance was high on energy and emotion

He is one of the hottest young stars of today. However, Varun Dhawan’s heartfelt performance at the Star Screen Awards, which was a tribute to India’s martyrs, left many amongst the audience emotional. The actor sizzled on the stage with a thumping dance show that had elements of Bollywood freestyle and hip-hop. With ABCD2, the actor has further polished his dancing skills, which was clearly evident here. The actor paid tribute to those who lay their lives down for the nation. In the dance performance, they made a human pyramid and danced to Suno Gaur Se Duniyawalon from Dus.

The actor was also joined by Shraddha Kapoor for another dance segment. Varun looking dapper on the red carpet spoke about how this performance was indeed a special one due to the intent. The year 2015 was a special one for the actor. At the outset, he had a brilliant film like Badlapur that won his laurels from public and critics alike. He followed it up with ABCD2, which was again loved by kids. The actor’s dancing prowess was on full display in the film. Varun rounded off the year with Dilwale. One of the year’s top projects, it had him sharing screen space with Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol. The actor’s pairing with Kriti Sanon was much lauded.

Loyal fans of Naagin just can’t have enough of Adaa Khan. The lovely actress who plays the role of Shivanya’s (Mouni Roy) sister, Shesha looks absolutely stunning in her fierce yet decked up avatar. With Naagin setting new records on the TRP charts, we caught up with Adaa for a small chat. She said, “I have been working in the industry for six years and it has been a great journey so far. Nowadays, whenever I enter a party or gathering, people say ‘Naagin Aa Gayee’. Krushna Abhishek and Bharti Singh always tease me as a Naagin on the sets. It is always nice to be recognized by your character.” So, according to her what is the reason behind the success of the show? “I think it’s a fantasy-drama, which is a new concept. People have always liked the idea of the Icchadhari Naagin whether it was Sridevi in Nagina or other films. The myth of the Naagin still exists in many parts of India. People believe that snakes should be left unharmed and that they remember their killers forever.” However, what has thrilled the actress is the fact that kids love the show. “Kids are loving the whole drama and the VFX effects. In fact, many parents have started watching the show on the insistence of their children. I am very happy to know that the little ones are liking it.”

Mandana and Priya fight over food!

While Priya was making breakfast, Mandana got into a fight with her, as she felt Priya was not using the right method to make the paranthas. Priya defended herself, saying that she makes paranthas for Keith and he likes it with less oil. However, Mandana continued to insist on putting more oil. Later, Priya’s hair touched the flour, and Mandana blamed her for wasting food. Mandana then began to make food herself. The housemates told Mandana that this is not the right way to behave, but she refused to budge.

Mandana worries over Bigg Boss’ negotiations

Rochelle ask Prince and Mandana whether they think that they will win the game. Prince gets irritated by this and he tells Rochelle to stop asking him such questions. Later, Bigg Boss increases the offer amount to Rs. 9 Lakhs and decreases the winning prize amount to Rs. 41 Lakhs. Mandana tried to convince Kishwer saying that if she takes the money and leave, but she will give Prince a chance to reach the finale. Kishwer insist that she does not care about the money but she wants to reach top five. She also tries to convince the rest of the housemates why Kishwer should leave. Bigg Boss increases the offer amount to Rs. 13 Lakhs and decreases the winning prize amount to Rs. 37 Lakhs.

Mandana covers her annoyance with Bigg Boss by cleaning!

When Bigg Boss upped the offer and reduced the final prize money, Mandana was ranting at Bigg Boss to announce that they only have an hour to make their decision. She later took to  cleaning, even though it was Rishabh’s duty. When Rishabh narrated the incident to the other housemates, they discuss how Mandana believes that she will be the winner and it is her money which is getting deducted from the prize money. Little do they know, that she will be eliminated later ahead!

Kishwer accepts Bigg Boss’ offer and leaves the house! 

In the evening, Bigg Boss increases the offer amount to Rs. 15 Lakhs and decreases the winning prize amount to Rs. 35 Lakhs. This is when he also tells Prince and Kishwer that they will have to make a decision on who wants to stay and who wants to leave with the money in the next one hour. The housemates leave the garden area for Prince and Kishwer to take a decision. Kishwer accepts the offer and leaves the house, while Prince gets the ticket to finale!

An ex-contestant just spilled the beans and it’s really shocking!!!

We might be close to the finale of Bigg Boss 9 but none can forget how Rimi Sen wasted our seven weeks right at the start of the show! She was introduced as the only Bollywood celebrity this season but instead of using it for her benefit, Rimi proved she is worth nothing! Okay! I don’t want to be mean but I so cannot ignore how she sat there like a bean bag, performing no task, using no strategy, and laughing over fans voting for her despite she doing nothing on the show! Have we ever seen anyone as useless as Rimi in the history of Bigg Boss? But for all those who’re wondering why am I reminding you of Rimi at a stage where she doesn’t even matter to the show, is because an ex-contestant just revealed to me how the makers were fooled by Rimi through a clause mentioned in her contract papers! Yes!

You won’t believe but there’s reportedly an interesting clause mentioned in the contract that says “minimum guarantee” where that particular contestant is safeguarded from getting eliminated for a certain period of time. It can vary from 3 weeks-5 weeks or 10 weeks for that matter! Rimi got lucky to enjoy this privilege as she was the only star from Bollywood and the makers hoped she will give them good content on the show! However, Rimi played foul as she decided to misuse this clause, as soon as she entered the show! Knowing she has the advantage of not getting eliminated until a certain period of time, Rimi was on her own with no one to question! What a player, no?

No wonder she shamelessly even called herself a ‘Pyscho’ when host Salman Khan had questioned her about her unacceptable behaviour on the show! Wait, recollecting another reports, Bigg Boss really agreed to pay Rs 2 crore for a contestant like THIS? Now that’s serious disappointment….

Not only will he be seen in the company of Bollywood beauty Deepika Padukone in the upcoming xXx: The Return of Xander Cage, he will also have two other hot ladies for company!

The first lady, in question, is Nina Dobrev who was seen in Vampire Diaries, Girls and The Final Girls. She was the lead role in Vampire Diaries, through which she got a really huge cult following!

The other lady is Ruby Rose, who played the tattooed badass convict in the Netflix series Orange is the new Black. She will also be seen with Keanu Reeves in the upcoming sequel of John Wick!

Aamir Khan discontinued as Incredible India’s ambassador

The ghosts of the intolerance controversy would not leave Aamir Khan, it seems! Much has been said about global star Priyanka Chopra, who knows no stopping when it comes to work. The actress has been the talk of tinsel town since the time she started working on her international television show Quantico.

PeeCee is the first South-Asian actress to have won the title of Favourite Actress for television at the prestigious People Choice Awards. While speaking to a leading daily the actress stated, “In 2000, I was a 17-year-old who was over the moon at having bagged the Miss World title. Here I am again, feeling blessed and happy at having won this honour for Quantico. For me, the biggest achievement was receiving an honour outside my country. I was truly nervous when I went to the awards function at Los Angeles. I was holding on to mom really tight. I barely knew five people out there, yet everyone seemed to know me. I was shy when they walked up and congratulated me. You know, I have never walked around with bells and whistles. So, it was indeed a pleasant surprise that so many people were acquainted with my work. It’s incredible when your work is recognised. That’s all I’ve ever truly wanted.”

The actress feels she is very much part of the Indian film industry as much as she is of the television industry abroad. “I’m very much a part of the Hindi cinema industry . Of course, I’m away now because we are prepping for the second half of season one of Quantico, which will begin once the winter break, is over. However, Bollywood will always remain my priority .I have managed to achieve what I have only because of all that I have learnt from our prolific industry . I can go on any stage, overcome any obstacle because of the confidence that Bollywood has instilled in me. Frankly, all I want to do is act. It doesn’t matter where my assignment takes me,” she said.
