Alia Bhatt went the nude way (well…almost, as they want us to believe) when she posed for Dabboo Ratnani in 2014. To cover her modesty she only had Kaalu, the black feline. But the rest of the guys here can only say, Kaalu is one lucky cat!

Jacqueline Fernandez

Also, Yasmin (Karachiwala) has been keeping me on my toes. I feel fit enough to take on the challenge.” But she won’t be running half or full marathon but a dream one! Her trainer Yasmine explained to the daily, “She will be doing the Dream Run (6 km) because not being a pro she can’t suddenly take up the half or full marathon which requires special training. Katrina normally walks into the gym post 11 pm and for the next two hours I’m focussed on her.”

Katrina says, “We have been working on a mix of things, including ATS and Pilates; the idea is to improve the body’s core strength and bal ance while building stamina, which I will need.”

Shah Rukh Khan‘s Dilwale was undoubtedly one of the most talked about films of 2015. Firstly because it brought SRK and Kajol together on the big screen after more than five years and also because it clashed with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s dream project Bajrao Mastani starring Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra.

Though the Bajirao Mastani beat Dilwale in the domestic box office collections, the SRK-Kajol film did quite well at the international box office. Dilwale’s total box office collection in India and overseas has crossed the Rs 350 crore mark. At a recent event, the Fan actor admitted that he was disappointed with Dilwale’s performance at the box office.

Shah Rukh said, “I don’t think the film has done as well as it should have. I am personally disappointed with that.” Adding to this the actor said, ”To be honest, it has perhaps not done as well in India as I would like it to do. But overseas it has done very well in a lot of countries like Germany, Austria. It is quite thrilling that Indian films are reaching far and wide. There is a lot of business opportunities.”

One is either in a great place personally or professionally.It very rare that one’s work and love life are both equally enriching and satisfying. A few years after she started out, it wasn’t the case. When she was in a relationship with Ranbir Kapoor, her career wasn’t going anywhere. Also, her relationship with his family wasn’t the best. Today, she is not just at top of her game, but there is something to look forward to, post pack up on the set. Although she lives alone in the city, (her family is in Bangalore) beau Ranveer Singh’s family has accepted her into their fold. She is in such a secure place, on the home front and box-office wise that she hasn’t announced signing up for any film in months. Here, she talks about films, family and former boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor

You haven’t signed any film for 2016.

I am very happy with that… I have had a fantastic 2015 and I am not worrying about this year at all.

You must be having the choicest of films coming to you?

I don’t know… Of course I would like to believe that. (smiles) This year will be whatever it has to be. Am I antsy or insecure about not having signed a film? Not at all. I am looking forward to what 2016 has to offer me.

Are you getting more comfortable with Ranveer. You put up an intimate video snipping his beard?

I have said this before… I am very, very comfortable around him and I can just be myself in front of him. I can switch off and just be my true self with him. I remember a day after Bajirao Mastani released we were just sitting together and eating chocolates. As simple as that. Here the world is going crazy about Bajirao Mastani and Bajirao and Mastani are eating chocolates! That’s my relationship with him.I don’t like to label relationships explaining this or that. It is what it is and people can make whatever they want of it. I think what is important that we know where we stand with each other, in each other’s lives, what we mean to each other, what all we can do with each other, what all we can say to each other, how we can be in front of each other… That’s it.

Ranveer has met and spend time with your family. How close are you to his family?

I am very, very close to his family. His family is my family in Mumbai.

Your relations with Ranbir’s mother Neetu were strained when you were dating Ranbir, so her presence at your trial of Tamasha created quite a furore. Also she commented on your electrifying chemistry with her son.

I blanked out completely during that time. I remember her coming for one of the trials but I don’t think it was mine. She had her own separate trial. Obviously, she would come for that trial. I am working with her son in the movie and she’s been very hands on where his work is concerned. She’s been a huge fan of Imtiaz’s work. As far as the electrifying chemistry is concerned, I think as an audience she (Neetu) has every right to feel that. I agree Ranbir and I did share that electrifying chemistry in Tamasha and everyone who has seen the film felt that, including the reviewers. So when everyone feels that, she’s justified in feeling that.

After your breakup (with Ranbir Kapoor), instead of moping around, you picked up the pieces and fought back strongly to where you are today, correct?

(Smiles) Of course! It takes a lot of strength to mend a broken heart. Channelising energies into your work helps, but also to be able to accept situations for what they are instead of questioning them, help immensely. The day you start questioning, you are going to be unhappy. Sometimes you have to accept things for what they are and have the ability and the strength to forgive. And when I say forgive it’s not about wrongdoing — XYZ has done something so I am going to forgive that person. You just have to forgive certain situations and moments in your life to be able to move on, if you genuinely want to be happy. I am someone who can’t hold on to negativity or hold on to grudges. I might feel something at a certain point, but I get tired after that. I don’t carry it with me. I forgive and forget very easily and that’s the only way to be happy and peaceful.

Tiger Shroff has been pushing the envelope with the stunts of Baaghi. While doing so, he has injured his back. A bit early in his career to get a back injury, albeit a minor one. Still in pain, Tiger groans, “I wish Akshay Sir had warned me never to do a stunt at the cost of your well-being, before I went through the current schedule of Baaghi. I had to perform heavy duty action scenes. I pushed myself beyond my own frontiers of endurance.”

Not that Tiger would heed Akshay’s advice and stay away from on-screen stunts.

Confesses the young actor, “Akshay Sir is a major source of inspiration. But I’ve to keep pushing myself further with each film. The audience has to feel it’s watching new action every time. I can’t allow them to go home disappointed.”

Tiger tries to play down his injury. “I have injured my disc slightly. But I am on the road to recovery. It was 40 days of non-stop action with the most intense stunts I’ve ever done. It took a toll on my body. But it was worth it..”

While talking about the film in past Tiger had said, “Baaghi is going to be something extra special, something extra-ordinary. For everyone who loved Heropanti, I just have to tell them one thing. Just wait for Baaghi to come.” Well, we certainly have high expectations from you Tiger. Also there is much speculation about the fresh pairing of Tiger and Shraddha. Yesterday, we told you how Mumbai Police came out with a circular that pointed out 16 discrepancies in the way the 2002 Hit and Run case was handled. This discovery raises a lot of questions about the case. Salman Khan was the accused in the 2002 Hit and Run case which resulted in a death of a person. Others were also severely injured when his car rammed into a bakery in Bandra. Last year, the Mumbai Sessions Court found the actor guilty and awarded him five years of imprisonment which the superstar challenged in Bombay HC. The latter acquitted him of all the charges. But it instructed Salman to deposit two sureties of 25000 under section 437-A of CrPC to confirm his presence if the State appeals in the Supreme Court against the Bombay HC’s decision. However, the actor sought some more time as a lot of paperwork was left which made the Court grant him an extension of two more weeks. Justice A M Thipsay gave him the extension.

According to a daily, Justice A R Joshi had mentioned in his order that, “The bail procedure be complied before the office of this Court.” Last month, Public prosecutor A A Mane pointed out that the bail procedure post acquittal has to be completed before the trial court and Justice Sadhna Jadhav of the Bombay HC who presided over Salman’s appeal for more time, complied with the prosecutor and stated, ” In normal circumstances, the procedure has to be completed before the trial Court. She instructed the HC registry to remit all concerned papers to the trial Court forthwith. The HC order on December 22, 2015, had said, “The procedure be completed before the trial Court within three weeks from today.”

The entire process will be conducted at the Session’s court.

While earlier it was reported that Sharda has been booked for hurting religious sentiments after he mimicked the sect head of Sirsa headquartered Dera Sacha Sauda, Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh in one of the CNWK episodes! We’ve just got to hear that the comedian has been detained under Baba Ram Rahim’s followers’ custody! Yes!

As per reports, Kiku will be taken to Haryana for further interrogation on this case, although an official confirmation on the same is yet to made! It can be noted that Kiku had already apologised for imitating Baba Ram Rahim! In fact, he had even clarified saying, “ I have a lot of respect for Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singhji. The look [on the show] wasn’t deliberate; it just happened to match [Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh’s look]. We didn’t plan it as a spoof on him. It’s a coincidence, and it is unfortunate. I am sorry that people felt hurt. We never try to do any such thing intentionally, or try to get headlines out of it, or want people to talk about our show in this manner. There is nothing more to it.”

Sridevi’s younger daughter, Khushi Kapoor is very popular on social media. The young, happy-go-lucky girl has been posting photos and videos on photo sharing platforms since a long time and most of her photographs go viral! While some people love and respect her, some of her critics have slammed her and called her out.

This hasn’t gone down with Khushi and today she posted a picture on Instagram that will surely shut her body shamers! She wrote a very genuine, open and mature caption along with the picture suggesting that people should not slam each other, but accept the beauty of the other person and celebrate with them.

She wrote, “I post my pictures because I feel good and confident. I put out these pictures not because I want to show off or try to be anyone or anything else. I have my own sense of style and my own way to think and me putting out a picture that’s accessible to so many people is taken more of an opportunity to judge me or my looks, clothes or anything else. I put something out there because it’s something I feel good about, everyone is entitled to have their own opinion but putting someone else down because of it is not making you any better of a person. Please think twice before you decide to comment something rude or offensive, it’s not a joke. It’s sad how in this day and age where feminism is finally getting the attention it deserves, girls still feel the need to tear each other down and indulge in body shaming. I don’t care if you think my stomach pops out or if I don’t fit into your idea of beautiful, but for your own conscience please realize that having such narrow minded opinions of people makes you an ugly person inside. I truly believe everyone is beautiful in their own way, why can’t we all celebrate that and encourage each other. There is only one of you, embrace your beauty, and don’t rain on my parade when I’m confident enough to embrace mine. I hope that whatever it is that frustrates you enough to be so cruel will one day go away, because some people might actually take your snide remarks seriously, and I know from experience it can hurt. Let’s be kind to one another, love always x”

Rocky Handsome brings back the Force duo of John Abraham and Nishikant Kamat which means we are in for a treat. When we heard the title first, it sounded funny to us and made us wonder if the duo is trying something different this time round. However, there was a nagging film that with Kamat at the helm of affairs, who is a genius when it comes to thrillers, Drishyam being a superlative example, it might pack a punch too. And guess what? We were proved wrong. The posters of Rocky Handsome are anything but subtle. They are BLOODY awesome. The first one had a gun and the new one, flaunts a knife. But there’s a common link between the two apart from the menacing weapons at display – the happy smiley drawn on one of the nails of the hand holding the gun and the knife. Cold, calculating and definitely sinister!

If you remember the first picture, it had a hand holding a gun and the new poster has a knife in the hands of a man. It is pretty easy to guess that this is John Abraham holding the knife which makes our grey cells go on an overdrive. What is his role in the film? If the film follows Kamat’s thrilling capabilities, why is it called Rocky Handsome? The two posters have only increased our interest in the film. The film also has Shruti Haasan in the lead opposite John.

Now, we are pretty sure it will be nothing less than sensational. But we have yet another nagging feeling that this Rocky is not as handsome as we or you must be thinking. Trust Nishikant Kamat on that. Meanwhile, you can check out the first poster here and judge for yourself!

Katrina Kaif and Aditya Roy Kapur‘s much awaited film, Fitoor has finally made its presence felt with it’s gripping trailer. Just as promised by the makers of the film, it is giving us several reasons to watch the film! The first song, Yeh Fitoor Mera, sung by Arijit Singh was something that hooked me so much that I actually kept listening to it on repeat. And looks like their new song, Pashmina is also going to fall in my repeat list! The music of Fitoor is scored by Amit Trivedi so it is quite needless to say that the film’s songs are going to get us in a new dreamy trance. So for all the Trivedi fans out there, here’s the singer/composer’s treat to you! He has sung Pashmina and honestly, it looks like it’s soon going to be a chartbuster!

And for Katrina and Aditya’s chemistry in the song, you’ll just need to keep adding several synonyms of intense and it’ll still fall short to describe how awesome it is. Katrina’s effortless contemporary movements teamed with Aditya Roy Kapur’s ripped muscles will make you go weak in the knees. The song is super dreamy with both the stars moving serenely to the tune. In fact, there is this one particular scene at the end of the song that really moved me! So while Firdaus and Noor are locked in embrace on the floor, they are surrounded by their own paintings created by Noor. I’m quite sure that it’ll give you the intense feels too!

Directed by Abhishek Kapoor, the film also stars Tabu and is slated to release on February 12. Hopefully, there will be some more swooning tracks in store for us, courtesy Amit Trivedi! So tell us in the comments section below what you think of the song Pashmina and the video!

Mocking Dera cheif Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh seems to be taking a major toll on Kiku Sharda aka Palak’s career! The Comedy Night With Kapil fame is legally charged for hurting religious sentiments and has already been arrested twice! While this legal tussle doesn’t seem to end anytime soon. We wonder if Kiku will be seen on the finale episode of Comedy Nights With Kapil, that’ll be aired this coming weekend!

According to reports, the finale episode was been shot this Tuesday with Airlift actor Akshay Kumar as the celebrity guest! Reveals a source, “We all knew it was the last episode—at least for now. But we were not going to hug and sob . We had decided there will be no tamasha, not even an announcement about the show ending. Akshay took Kapil aside to ask if there should be any reference to the final episode but Kapil declined. We had a whale of time for three years. We didn’t want to spoil it at the last moment. ”

However, considering Kiku is in the midst of this Dera chief controversy since Tuesday, it is yet to be known if he shot for the CNWK episode or no! It’s really sad how things are being framed against Kiku! That too at the time when his claim to fame Comedy Nights With Kapil is drawing to its closure! Will you miss Kiku aka Palak? John Abraham certainly knows how to pose in posters to make your heartbeats go up a notch. The muscular actor has bared it all for the latest poster in which he is seen showing his scarred back as he hold knifes in both his hands.

The Nishikant Kamat film also stars Shruti Haasan and is touted to be an action thriller. Rocky Handsome will be John and Nishikant’s second collaboration after Force. The actor has really worked hard on the film. John has previously revealed that he underwent extensive training for his role. He went to Bangkok to get trained in different art forms especially in Aikido, Hapkido that involves a lot of hand-to-hand combat. He also trained in Krav Maga.

Shot in Goa, Mumbai and Pune, the film is an adrenaline pumping action thriller embellished with a strong emotional story of the relationship between a father who never had a daughter and a seven year old daughter who never had a father.

In the first look that was released earlier, John is seen suited up for his role and is holding a gun aiming at probably one of the drug mafias that he sets on to kill. The story is adapted from The Man from Nowhere, which revolves around a man who sets out to take vengeance against drug mafia after they take away an eight-year-old girl, with whom he shares a special bond.

Everybody knows Ranveer Singh doesn’t have a guard when it comes to saying things and sometimes while some find it endearing that the actor is upfront and open about things, some tend to not like the nature. Well, a few years ago during the time of Goliyon Ki Raasleela… Ram Leela, the actor wouldn’t stop gushing about his fan boy status for actress Kareena Kapoor Khan and how excited he was to work with her. Well, that clearly went for a toss when Bebo opted out of the film citing personal reasons. In fact, when he was asked about Kareena, the Bajirao Mastani actor said, “Now I don’t feel that rush of excitement (for her). My feelings have waned. I’ve grown up. I was effusive about my admiration, but I didn’t do anything wrong. It came and bit me in the face. People really judge you.”

Quite an indication that the actor decided to lift up a guard when talking about things in public and with people. Well, with all this going on, Ranveer and Bebo never crossed paths, of course as they never had a reason to. But recently, Bajirao’s bro, Arjun decided to get the two actors together at Lucknow. The Tevar actor brought Kareena and Ranveer together so they can get acquainted! Aww! Arjun, you’re the cutest.
