Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan are in trouble now. Court accepts plea against Shah Rukh, Salman for wearing shoes.

A local court here today accepted a plea by Hindu Mahasabha against Bollywood superstars Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan and a private TV channel for purportedly showing the actors inside a temple wearing shoes during a reality show. The court has fixed the date for hearing on January 18. 

“A scene with Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan inside a Kali temple on the sets of TV reality show ‘Bigg Boss’ was broadcast by Colors channel in December last year,” Bharat Rajput, president of Hindu Mahasabha’s Meerut unit said.

Rajput said that he had written a letter to the SSP and the District Magistrate of Meerut on December 23 and also sent an email to the channel over the issue. He alleged that no one should enter any religious places with their shoes and airing it on TV was insensitive as it hurt people’s religious sentiment. Rajput said, when the channel didn’t respond and the administration or the police didn’t take steps over the issue, a petition was filed at the court of CJM Sanjay Kumar Singh against the channel, the programme’s director and also Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan.

Does a certain ex-girlfriend has anything to do with this?

The signs were there for everyone to see. Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif are no longer a couple. Close friends reveal that the scope of a reconciliation can’t be dismissed, but it isn’t on the table as of now. So what went wrong? Weren’t they caught kissing by the paparazzi on the balcony of their love nest in Bandra? So how did they break up within a matter of days? Is this a publicity stunt for their next film Jagga Jasoos? We managed to speak to a close friend who tried to give an insight and understanding of the events leading up to the split. Let’s begin…

- So the breakup wasn’t a spur of the thing moment. The decision to go separate ways was something that happened after a series of long drawn fights that continued for weeks. Ranbir and Katrina wanted this to work, like any couple in love, they too hoped the relationship would lead to a wedding. But clearly that wasn’t the case.

- Ranbir’s non commitment on planning a wedding was a big reason for the split. The common friend says that RK would develop cold feet each time this subject came up. Also each time they fought the only way Katrina agreed to give this another chance was on RK’s promise that there would be a wedding.

- Deepika Padukone had nothing to do with this! Reports suggesting that her proximity to RK during the Tamasha promotions was responsible for the break up are incorrect. DP is committed to making her relationship with Ranveer work.

- It seems that Neetu Kapoor too wasn’t quite happy with Ranbir moving out in the Bandra apartment with Katrina. She was often heard saying that it would only be a matter of time before her son would come back. As of the recent events, her prediction stands true.

- The coming days will throw some more light on what stand RK and Katrina have decided to take. Will they confirm the split or stick to the cliché and not talk about it. Katrina won’t be able to maintain her silence for long given the fact that she will be promoting Fitoor in the coming days answering media questions.

A very happy birthday Sid

Siddharth Malhotra, the Bollywood heartthrob who made his Bollywood debut with Karan Johar’s Student Of The Year turns 31 today. He doesn’t need an introduction now. His abs speak for him. He has made a kind of space amongst the fans that it is next to impossible to dethrone of it.

Sidharth appeared in Brothers alongside Akshay Kumar and proved his dedication towards the profession he is in. BJP general secretary Kaliash Vijayvargiya hinted at teaching a lesson to Aamir

Suoertar Aamir Khan’s ‘intolerance’ remarks continue to haunt him with a senior BJP leader today suggesting “treatment” to his upcoming movie ‘Dangal‘ in the same way that was done to Shahrukh Khan’s ‘Dilwale’, whose business was marred by protests from Hindutva groups.

BJP general secretary Kaliash Vijayvargiya hinted at teaching a lesson to Aamir by saying at a public function that “treatment to one has been done. Now it is time for the other to be treated. ‘Dangal me mangal karna hai’. You should keep this in mind.

“When anybody says that intolerance is rising in our society, then it makes me a little angry. Then he has to be treated. His treatment is very necessary.”

Though he did not name either Shahrukh or ‘Dilwale,’ his reference seemed to be aimed at him as his last movie was marred by protests at several places. Khan, too, had earlier spoken about rising intolerance in Indian, prompting the BJP leader to brand him a “traitor”, a remark he withdrew later facing public backlash.

Vijayvargiya’s remarks came a day after another party general secretary, Ram Madhav, had denounced Aamir Khan’s comments on ‘intolerance’, saying he should not preach about the country’s prestige only to an auto-rickshaw driver but also his wife.

The star cast of “Fitoor” along with director Abhishek Kapoor launched the song “Pashmina” at Lodhi Garden here on Friday with much fervour.

On a chilly evening here, actors Katrina Kaif and Aditya Roy Kapur with Kapoor held a press launch of their new song “Pashmina”.

Talking about the song which has been shot in a larger than life hall where the two actors can be seen essaying their contemporary dance moves, Aditya said that it was a different dance form for both.

“It is a different kind of dance form for Katrina and a different dance form as well for Bosco who has choreographed this song. The choreography goes with look and feel of the film as well,” Aditya told media here.

Clad in a purple dress, Katrina who essays the role of an elitist in the film, looked beautiful at the event although the actress had to shed her coat, flaunting a strapless dress in the freezing cold for the shutter-bugs.

Composed by Amit Trivedi, the song has been penned by Swanand Kirkire.

The film also stars actress Tabu in a lead role.

“Fitoor”, based on Charles Dickens’s novel “The Great Expectations”, will release on February 12.

Yeh Fitoor Mera (Fitoor)

This slow song from Aditya and Katrina starrer Fitoor is filled with angst and brimming with passion. Arjit Singh is at his best as always and really pulls the listener in to experience the deep emotions in the song and his amazing voice does conveys it very well. The song depicts the feelings of Noor played by Aditya Roy Kapoor towards Firdaus played by Katrina Kaif. She looks drop dead gorgeous with her flaming red hair. The score from Amit Trivedi supports the singer’s vocals perfectly. The imagery is vivid, memorable and combined with the music makes it a great song.

Pashmina (Fitoor)

It seems like Fitoor is filled with amazing songs. The new song Pashmina is different from Yeh Fitoor Mera in its pacing, setting, tonality and grace. Amit Trivedi’s voice is usually not ideal for singing love ballads but it is just perfect in this song. The light music score breathes more life into the song and combined with Trivedi’s vocals, this song is something to behold. But what makes this song so special is the slow, sensuous dancing by Katrina Kaif and Aditya Roy Kapoor which will make you go weak at the knees.

Atrangi Yaari (Wazir)

This wonderful song from Wazir has a nice ring to it. The nice and easy rhythm of the guitar right from the beginning puts you in a relaxing and happy mood. Mr Bachchan’s deep set voice is well complimented by Farhan Akthar’s husky one. The song is a tribute to friendship, trust, camaraderie and companionship. The best part is it looks completely natural as these two stars smile, laugh and have fun on camera and it warms your heart.

Sanam Re( Sanam Re)

Composer Mithoon has created something very special with this melodious title song. The song is sung by Arjit Singh and his voice is just pure magic. Pulkit Samrat and Yami Gautam have a very sizzling chemistry on screen, which increases the sensuality and passion of this beautiful number. What is so special about the song is that Urvashi Rautela also looks ravishing and looks great with Pulkit. Background imagery is simply breath taking and is an added bonus.

Soch Na Sake (Airlift)

The Akshay Kumar song from Airlift is just brilliant and kind of sad. Nimrat Kaur and Akshay Kumar look very good together on screen and their dynamic as a married couple adds a whole lot of depth to the already emotional song. Arjit Singh’s voice is like honey to the ears and breaks your heart with its sincerity and passion. The Punjabi lyrics takes the emotional turmoil to another level and makes it a song to listen to on repeat. The Amaal Malik composed number conveys the pain of separation accurately.

When the pretty Divyanka Tripathi was seen at the recently held 14th Indian Telly Awards, holding hands with her co star from Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, Vivek Dahiya, tongues started wagging!

Now there are pictures of them being part of a roka ceremony, i.e. engagement rituals, and it has led one to come to an obvious conclusion – Has Divyanka Tripathi got secretly engaged to the love of her life?

In the pictures, the actress is looking quite pretty in a pink lehenga, while Vivek was wearing totally formal with suit and tie. Pink was the theme of the evening, it seems, since Vivek’s tie and surrounding embroidery were also in pink. However, no official statement has come from both the sides, so we are not sure if these are actually from the engagement ceremony

Previously, also there were rumours that Divyanka’s parents had visited the sets of the show, and had met with Vivek, where they bonded quite well.

Divyanka was earlier dating actor and long-time boyfriend Ssharad Malhotra for 9 years, until they broke off a couple of months ago, citing commitment issues.

In Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, Divyanka plays the lead role of Ishita Bhalla, while Vivek plays the supporting role of ACP Abhishek. So if the pictures are true and they are officially engaged, can we hear the wedding bells soon?

The fight of the biggies is set to take place this Eid…

We had revealed to you earlier that 2016 is a year of box office clashes. Salman Khan’s Sultan and Shah Rukh Khan’s Raees are going to clash on Eid, Hrithik Roshan’s Mohenjo Daro and Akshay Kumar’s Rustom are going to both release on August 12, Ranbir Kapoor -Anushka Sharma’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Ajay Devgn’s Shivaay are going to clash during Diwali and so on. We asked you let us know which clash according to you is the most awaited one in 2016 and the verdict is out…

According to fans, the Sultan-Raees clash is the most awaited one this year as 74 per cent people are waiting for the ‘Clash of the Titans.’ While the films are set to clash on Eid as of now, we had revealed to you a few days back that Sultan will be delayed and the clash will be averted. However, with no official confirmation yet, this is the most awaited clash of 2016.

The next most awaited box office battle in line is the Mohenjo Daro and Rustom clash which is far behind the Raees-Sultan clash. Only 15 per cent people are waiting for this clash. People aren’t interested in the other clashes such as the Airlift and Kyaa Kool Hain Hum clash (4 per cent), the Housefull 3 , Jagga Jasoos and Raaz Rebooted clash (4 per cent), the Shivaay and Ae Dil Hai Mushkil clash (3 per cent) and the Azhar and Mirziya clash (1 per cent).

The Fitoor star was quizzed about this news at a promotional event recently….

Though a storm is brewing in her mind, Katrina Kaif seems to have maintained a stoic stance. Just as the news of her break up rocked the tinselville a couple of days ago, she was seen in the capital with her co star Aditya Roy Kapur promoting her next, Fitoor. So, expectedly she had to answer some tough questions about her personal life at the event.

A reporter asked the Kat if the news of her breaking up with Ranbir was true. The query seemed to have miffed the Fitoor beauty to such an extend that she glared at the reporter and chose to speak nothing. Well, that’s the classic Katrina for you. They say silence is golden and sometimes, it speaks more than the words. It is absolutely  true in this case. Katrina neither confirmed and denied the news which actually says a lot about the whole issue. Anyways, director Abhishek Kapoor came to her rescue and said, “This isn’t the right place to talk about it.” Okay, so did he he just confirm the news?

Fans of the former IT couple of Bollywood, will be sad to know that the might me no chances of reconciliation for Ranbir – Katrina. The news of their break up was hardly a shock to their family and friends who saw these two drifting apart since a couple of months now.

The actor has been advised a couple of weeks rest, before he can start shooting again!

Hrithik Roshan, who is currently shooting for Ashutosh Gowariker’s Mohenjo Daro, has met with an injury on the sets of the film!

The actor has apparently torn a ligament from a fall. He was shooting for an intense action sequence, when he had the fall and suffered two torn ligaments on his ankles. His doctor has advised bed rest for a couple of weeks. The actor has himself, tweeted about the injury,

This is not the first time Hrithik has suffered an injury while shooting for a film. Previously, he had hot a serious injury on the head, when he did a stunt for his 2014 blockbuster, Bang Bang. The committed and methodical actor that he is, Hrithik prefers to do most of his stunts alone.

Mohenjo Daro is a adventure action drama based in the prehistoric times, during the early civilizations of man. It is a subject that has never been attempted before in Bollywood. The film also stars Pooja Hegde and Kabir Bedi.

Will Salman Khan make his relationship with Iulia official soon?

Eternal bachelor Salman Khan is in love again. And this time, a Romanian actress/model, Iulia Vantur, seems to be ruling his heart. Though there were hush hush rumours about them being together, it was at the superstar’s 50th birthday party that we got a confirmation of these two going stronger than ever. She was seen photobombing his every snap. Later, she even clicked a selfie from Salman’s lavish vanity van on the sets of Bigg Boss 9.

Now adding fuel to fire, She accompanied Salman to his training sessions for Sultan. An entertainment website just reported that she joined the Sultan star for his training session by Hollywood’s renowned stunt director Larnell Stovall. Seems like the Romanian bombshell and Salman are indeed going very strong. With he being acquitted in the 2003 hit-and-run case, will he now finally settle down and accept his relationship?

Veteran actor Kabir Bedi, who celebrated his 70th birthday on Saturday, with his close friends also tied the knot with his long-time partner Parveen Dusanj, 42, on Friday.
Actor Gulshan Grover who attended Kabir Bedi’s birthday celebration on Saturday night said he wished him 10 more marriages.

“I admire him and he has done some tremendous work, he is someone I look up to and he is the nicest person in the show business. Wishes come from heart I wish him all the very best and I wish him 10 more marriages,” Gulshan Grover told reporters on Kabir Bedi’s birthday celebration on Saturday.

Bedi, who walked the red carper with Parveen Dusanj said, “Welcome to my annual 70th birthday I have always said anybody in this business who survives 25 years or more deserves an Oscar for survival so I am an Oscocanadian in that sense,” Bedi told reporters during the birthday celebration.

“I wish to thank every single person who has loved me, wished me, supported me and wanted the best for me. I hope I live up to their expectation and believe me the best is yet to come,” he added.

Parveen further revealed Sufi band from Delhi has been called on his birthday and many more surprise were waiting for him.

The couple had visited the gurudwara on Thursday to seek blessings, and the wedding was held on Friday, attended by close family and friends.

This is truly  the year of Deepika Padukone!

Deepika Padukone has done it again. This year’s awards season belongs to her. She is the Queen Bee of Bollywood and boy, she has arrived! At the recent Filmfare Awards, her film Bajirao Mastani won it big while she won the Best Actress award for Piku! Her beau bagged the Best Actor trophy for his portrayal of Blazing Bajirao, the powerful Maratha warrior.

While the two made affection for each other very obvious, Ranveer even went ahead and touched Dippy’s parents’ feet after he won the big award. That was truly touching gesture on his part considering that Deepika is so close to her parents. At her award acceptance speech, she read out a letter written to her by her dad and badminton legend Prakash Padukone, This is what that heart warming letter read, “If you love what you do nothing else matters, not even awards. Follow your heart and live your dream. You are our daughter and then an actress.”

Well, now that’s really sweet isn’t it! She dedicated this award to her parents and understandably so. The night ended on an emotionally high note for the couple. Kudos to Dippy and of course her dad Prakash Padukone.

Tonight will be the end of one of the most successful comedy shows in the history of Indian televison!

Comedy Nights with Kapil, one of Colors’ most successful shows, that made stars out of Kapil Sharma, Sunil Grover Kiku Sharda will end its 3 year old reign tonight. Tonight’s episode will also feature Akshay Kumar, who is there to promote his upcoming Airlift.

A leaked video from the sets of the show has gone viral which features the final moments of the show. It has Kapil Sharma thanking everyone for their support, and also saying there is no end to anything, people just go to different directions but do the same thing – make people laugh! The best (or the saddest part) comes towards the end when the cast members line up on the stage, right from Kapil, to Kiku Sharda, Sunil Grover, Ali Asgar, Sumona Chakravarthi, along with Akshay Kumar. It was heart rending to see the usually vibrant Gutthi aka Sunil Grover break down and cry. Sunil gets out of his Gutthi garb and speaks his heart out in English. The rest of the cast, even the usually strong Kapil Sharma, were in tears. Sunil of course, broke into his fave song of the show on Akshay’s insistence, but that just made more people weep more. Akshay also confesses that though he had been on the show many times, this was the best episode that he has shot for.

Big B explains why he won’t romance younger heroines in his films anymore. Read on…

Tides are shifting in the industry. At a time when 50-year-old heroes are romancing heroines half their age, Karan Johar and R Balki are bringing much needed change — Ki And Ka and Ae Dil Hai Mushkil — both films having younger actors romancing actresses older to them. Ask Amitabh Bachchan about it and he welcomes the change. “I think this should have been done years back. Characters in films should never be restricted by age and it doesn’t matter what the gap is, the actors have to play their parts well.”

He’s also romanced Tabu in Cheeni Kum and a much younger Jiah Khan in Nishabd. Any plans of going down the same road again? Pat comes the response. “Ya, we tried doing it with Nishabd and it was a failure (smiles). So it won’t happen now. The audience could not accept a 60-year-old man romancing an 18 year old girl. So definitely, I am not going to get a leading lady from this generation.”

Does he regret it? “Obviously, I do. When you have such talented and wonderful heroines in the industry, you wish they could be your leading ladies too. But that period is over. I cannot romance a Deepika or a Kangana. It’s not my cup of tea. Also, it won’t happen because nowadays, I am only getting character roles or character-oriented roles. That’s what I am doing.”

Well, going by director Divya’s reaction looks like Sanam Re has parts that might not be suitable for kiddie audience..

Divya Khosla Kumar is ready to release her second romantic film Sanam Re starring Pulkit Samrat, Yami Gautam and Urvashi Rautela. The lady had invited few media members for the preview of the film where she showed some songs and scenes of the film.

On this occasion Divya was accompanied by her 4-year-old son Ruhaan Kumar and husband Bhushan Kumar.One of the songs from the film had quite bold scenes of hottie Urvashi Rautela and we caught Divya literally trying to close her son’s eyes. She ensured that her kid had not watched these scenes.(Divya looked a bit embarrassed while the scenes were going on). She had kept his eyes shut till the song got over. Clearly the motherly instincts of Ms Kumar overtook the director in this case.

Divya has also done her comeback with an item number in the film and while talking to Bollywood Life she shared what made her do the song. She said, “Media was asking me since long that when will I be back onscreen, so I thought this is the best way to comeback. My husband (Bhushan Kumar) was in awe after seeing me in the song. Husbands don’t say much”,(smiles).

This film will hit the theatres on February 12,2016.

Ranveer Singh is the man of our dreams and ladies if you still are not acquainted with his funny antics and quirks then you surely need to come out of your cocoon.

Known to all Filmfare Awards 2016 witnessed the epitome of Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone’s PDA when Ranveer touched DP’s parents’ feet after the announcement of the Best Actor of the Year 2015. While on one side we see a relationship fall apart, DeepVeer on the other are getting stronger day by day so much so that they even made their relationship official at the recent awards function. Well such is life, full of contradictions.

We did not even get a chance to wrap our heads around the fact that Deepika and Ranbir are no more a couple and we saw a prominent display of affection and much more from the side of Ranbir’s ex lover and the actress of year, Deepika Padukone, which rarely happens as the actress is very particular about how much she reveals about her personal life at a public event. However, this time it was certainly different.

And taking that up a notch is Ranveer, who not only made it evident for the onlookers on the small screen but also took to his Instagram handle and shared a delightful post which says, “@deepikapadukone won Best Actor in Leading Role Female for PIKU! Gosh, I couldn’t have scripted it better myself!”

The Kapoor lad has a soft corner for football!

Arjun Kapoor has emerged as this social media savvy boy and we are liking every bit of it! Already the stills of his upcoming film Ki and Ka alongside Kareena Kapoor Khan has surged a fervour of excitement. And looks like Arjun isn’t going to let our excitement die any time soon as he is constantly entertaining us with funny tweets and quirky Instagrams. We are liking it quite a lot! If you remember, he almost gave Karan Johar a heart attack when he tweeted that he’s leaking the first look of Kapoor and Sons but turns out it was a jest where he put up a collage of his family boys! Yes, KJo did sigh a breath of relief but with this one thing is proven for sure, Arjun does have a good sense of humour.

But humour is not his only favourite passtime. The actor was recently spotted kickin’ away some ball as he played a friendly football match in Bandra. The Khatron Ke Khiladi host sure has several shades of him and looks like we’ll get to see it as he is back from his shoot! The actor was also joined by Dino Morea who got on his bike and made way for the football match. The Punjabi boy is making the most of his Twitter and Instagram account and treating us with more and more of his fun times. In fact, he is bonding a lot with his industry mates, especially Varun Dhawan and Ranveer Singh.
