Ae Dil Hai Mushkil has just released and has already started creating records. We told you how the film earned a massive $554,000 in UAE-GCC which is Rs 3. 70 cr. And tell you what? It is only the second film this year to get such a huge total. The first film which saw a massive opening in UAE-GCC was Salman Khan’s Sultan which earned $1. 40 mn on its opening day.

Komal Nahta, Trade Analyst, revealed this on his Twitter account saying, “#AeDilHaiMushkil collects US $5,54,000 on day 1 in MiddleEast, making it the second best opening of the year so far. Next only to Sultan.” It is clear that Aishwarya’s film is only second to Salman’s in this circuit which says a lot about the film. We already told you how ADHM took lead in India as well on its opening day. As trade expert and Editor of Super Cinema, Amul Vikas Mohan revealed to us EXCLUSIVELY, “Ae Dil Hai Mushkil has opened phenomenally. It is really good for a non-holiday release, which is not a franchise. Right now, at 2pm, by which 3 shows in each cinema have been screened pan-India, it looks like Ae Dil Hai Mushkil will have a collection in the range of Rs 12-15 crore, which is great. As per our conversation, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Shivaay would collect Rs 25 crore cumulatively, so ADHM is perfectly collecting half of that and so, it is bang on! But having said that, the evening shows have to kick-in still. So the numbers can change and hence, I gave you a range rather than a perfect number. But yeah, I guess Ae Dil Hai Mushkil will open between Rs 12-15 crore on day one, which is great for a non-holiday release. ADHM is a more urban film and has worked very well in multiplexes.” By tomorrow, we will know how much it will earn on day 1 in India. Salman Khan’s Sultan will definitely be ahead in the race but to see ADHM become the second highest in this region will only boost the film’s prospects at the box office.

Ah! Salman Khan is a total sweetheart! Well, only a non Bollywood follower would be unaware of two of the biggest Diwali releases i.e. Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Shivaay. The clash has gained so much momentum that the box office numbers would be the ones to state, who really nailed the Diwali box office and became a blockbuster this festive season. Both the films still have two more days, no wait, technically three more days and in that period of time, a lot can happen. We are super excited to see who dominates Diwali 2016. Ajay Devgn‘s action film hasn’t really impressed the critics and its the same with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil as well.

The industry has poured in their best wishes for the cast and both the films’ success as well. Post the release, however, Salman Khan decided to send his wishes for Shivaay and Ae Dil. There was a buzz doing the rounds in the industry that perhaps Devgn and Khan aren’t in good terms. Well, those rumours will surely be quashed. Salman wished both the films, Ae Dil and Shivaay good luck. Now isn’t that totally sweet? The actor wished his friend, Ajay for his film as well as Ash’s film as well. The last time we saw this trio together was in Hum dil De Chuke Sanam which was such a big hit! Perhaps its time for them to dig all their past and come together. It’s a little too much to ask but wouldn’t it be awesome? We had spotted Bhai’s family at the screening of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. Nope, we didn’t see them at Shivaay’s screening that was also held in the same week. However, maybe they have plans of watching it in the weekend or so. So far both the films have been bashed by critics. Many have not liked Ae Dil for the plot itself but Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has been raved about throughout every review. Well, I’ve seen it and I give all my vote to Ash for her best performance since her comeback. Shivaay too hasn’t lived upto the hype, according to various critics. While the critics say various things about the films, audience has a say of its own and for them, both have been good watch. Raavi’s husband and in-laws thank Harman’s (Vivian Dsena) brother for planning all this to which he says that his name cannot be involved anywhere. Harman takes his frustration out on Soumya who realises that Raavi’s in-laws found out about her being a kinnar and came home to threaten them. Harman asks her to sleep and he will manage the situation in the morning as Soumya (Rubina Dilaik) cries. Nimmi lights diyas as Surbhi asks her what she is thinking about. Nimmi reminisces about Soumya and shares her stories and worries with Surbhi. She calms Nimmi down and hugs her. Preeto asks Raavi why she is packing when she tells her that she has lost hopes of reuniting with her son. She tells them that she is ready to be their servant to get her son back.

Harak Singh tells her that she will never bow in front of anyone and she expresses that they only care about Harman and their respect. Preeto yells at her and tells her that she will make sure that she gets Avi’s son back. She swears to send Soumya so far away that no one will ever know where she is. Harman’s brother sees Harak Singh and wonders how he can rub salt on his wounds. He goes and talks to him about the impending case. Soumya asks Harman to take her to Nimmi before things get worse in his house but he refuses to listen. Meanwhile, Maninder, Preeto and Saya make a plan to capture Soumya again. Maninder announces that Surbhi’s wedding will be in two days when she argues about it. Khalsi overhears the conversation and panics about making all the preparations. Nimmi explains to Surbhi that she should get married as soon as possible. Preeto calls everyone at home and announces happily that Harman is coming back. Guests at Maninder’s house wonder why the family got both the daughters married in such a hurry as the haldi ceremony begins.

Beeji asks Nimmi about calling Soumya for the wedding when Nimmi says that Maninder is here with a plan. Maninder’s mother asks him if he is sure that Soumya will come for the ceremony. Harman runs into Saya in the market and asks about Soumya. He refuses to give her details and asks her to stay away from Soumya. He even tells her that he will always be there to protect her when Saya says that she will make all the other kinnars go away from Maninder’s house. That’s when Harman finds out about Surbhi’s wedding. Saya tells him that he will be responsible for the consequences of her life.

Swaragini starts with Nikhil (Pratap Hada) chatting to Swara (Helly Shah). She says you are so matured now. He says I love you a lot and will love you throughout my life. He says I became sensible to live with a partner like you. She slaps him. He says what is wrong. She says you are joking. He says I am not joking I seriously love you, he says you have so much love in your heart. Sanskar (Varun Kapoor) overhears this conversation and feels jealous. Swara and Nikhil come to Shekhar (Sachin Tyagi) who is with Ragini (Tejaswi Prakash Wayagankar). She is telling him that he has full faith in Laksh (Namish Taneja) and knows he will return. Nikhil comes and says I will not go anywhere till Ragini’s problems are solved. Shekhar says where will you live. He says here. Upset, Shekhar says this is not Canada where girls and boys can live together. He gets embarrassed but Shumi (Parineeta Borthakur) says the situation and says he is Swara’s guest and will live here.

At Maheshwari mansion, Sanskar is drinking. Sujata (Sonica Handa) gets upset seeing him boozing in the day. She says there is lot of work left for Uttara’s (Khyati Mangla) engagement. She says the impact of your failed relationship should not fall on your sister. He says my broken relationship won’t spoil anything, there is nothing left in the relationship as such to be saved. He leaves from there. Gayatri calls up Sujata and asks if the arrangements are done. She says yes. Gayatri also asks about Rs 50 lakhs and Sujata says it will be arranged. She tells her husband that Uttara is a prize catch. The husband says once the marriage is solemnised, we will get more money.

Swara, Nikhil and Ragini are working on the plans. Shumi brings tea for them. Nikhil and Ragini go to the caterers. A man walks in with a lehenga for Uttara. She says it will look lovely on her. Swara sends a snap of the lehenga to Uttara who is seeing sarees sent by in-laws. She loves the outfit selected by her bhabhi. Shumi is worried as Swara will be staying in Maheshwari mansion for a while. She tells her daughter to keep an open mind. Swara says I still love Sanskar as much as I did before. She gets teary-eyed. She says I came here only to support my sister. I would have returned once he got back. She says I will go back as Laksh gets home. She sees Sanskar’s reflection in a mirror and feels she is hallucinating. She trips and lands up in his arms. They share an eye-lock.

Abhi (Shabir Ahluwalia) tells Pragya (Sriti Jha) that he is very uncomfortable about the marriage and that he wants to know about what happened in the past few years of his life. Abhi and Pragya talk about love and memories related to love and she leaves. Tanu is worried about everything as Aaliya is confident about her plan and offers some champagne to Tanu. Aaliya says that she wants to see Pragya cry at Abhi and Tanu’s wedding. Daadi and Daasi encourage Pragya telling her that God will not let anything happen to her as Aaliya comes and asks Pragya to get mehendi from her room and that Daadi will apply the mehendi on Tanu’s palm.

She drags Daadi to speak to Tanu and apply mehendi on her palm. She makes sit between her as Tanu says that she wants the entire family to love her. Pragya picks the mehendi’s plate and carries it to the living room when she bumps into Abhi. The plate falls, the kumkum falls on her head and mehendi on her palm. Aaliya and Tanu look in disbelief as everyone else is happy to see Abhi clean Pragya’s forehead. He apologises to her saying that he was excited about getting some 15 million views on his new song and didn’t notice that she was holding the plate. He goes to pick the fallen things when Pragya goes and helps him. He looks at her palm and spreads the mehendi in an attempt to clean it. He calls Aaliya to help him clean the mess and asks Pragya to freshen up in his room. Pragya shows her palm to Sarla who smiles at her. Pragya is happy with everything that happened downstairs and smiles to herself as she is cleaning her face and palm. Aaliya mumbles as she cleans as Tanu taunts her plan. Daadi also taunts Aaliya and Tanu saying that Abhi and Pragya are made of each other. Sarla also agrees with Daadi. Aaliya loses her cool and asks them to stop the lecture when Daadi says that no matter what they do Abhi and Pragya will end up together. Tanu leaves furiously as Aaliya asks Robin to clean the mess and throw it in the bin.

She challenges everyone that she will make sure Abhi marries Tanu. Will she be successful? Stay hooked with us to find out.

The mercury levels inside the Bigg Boss house are soaring by every passing day. Last night we saw how the otherwise cool Lokesh Kumari Sharma lashed out at Navin Prakash after he sabotaged her immunity task. Their argument got so intense that Lokesh, who comes across this cute girl was seen screaming her lungs out. Clearly the viewers were not happy with Navin’s ill behaviour. And their fight will continue in tonight’s episode of Bigg Boss 10.

So Navin has won the task by sabotaging Lokesh’s efforts, but this has created a visibly broken commoners’ team spirit. Lokesh is cleary hurt with Navin’s behaviour and she was sharing her dard with Manoj Manu Punjabi.

Forgetting all disputes and animosities, contestants woke up to the song Happy Diwali bringing in festivities.

Still upset about being put in the jail by his counterparts, Om Swami complained to Lokesh about not being given a chance to  do much in the task and put inside the jail every time for displaying poor performance.

In order to make peace between Lokesh and Navin, Manveer requested Lokesh to talk to him and  give him a chance to explain himself. Lokesh, however, refused to talk to Navin and walks off. Lokesh also went up to Manoj and told him that Navin is playing a dirty game and is  brainwashing everyone including Manveer.

While having a conversation about their respective teams, Mona Lisa told Manu about her team’s indifferent behavior towards her. Manu also shared his side of the story and told Mona that even commoners are playing dirty games and Navin’s behavior in the task the other day was not justified.  At the end of the conversation, Mona and Manu came to terms with the fact that no one in the house is trustworthy and they need to play their individual games.

Bringing in Diwali festivities, Bigg Boss decided to create a cheerful atmosphere by giving the celebrities the gifts sent by their loved ones. Manu handed over Mona’s gift to her while she is inside the jail which made her emotional and she broke into tears. With only the  celebrities getting  their gifts,  commoners wait eagerly in anticipation to receive their set of gifts. Bigg Boss also asked Manu to release Monalisa and Swami from the jail and asked them to join the housemates in the celebrations.

In the evening, housemates celebrated Diwali by performing a small puja in the garden area where Swamiji recited mantras and completed puja rituals.

Happiness filled up the atmosphere as Bigg Boss wished everyone Happy Diwali and provided fireworks for them to celebrate the occasion. He also surprised commoners by giving them their share of gifts by calling Nitibha and Lokesh in the confession room. He asked them to collect their gifts that are hidden behind the chair and distribute it amongst the housemates.

So that was a wrap of tonight’s episode of Bigg Boss 10. It was not a very entertaining watch, which is why I give it a Garam on our Masala Meter.

The past week brought about many twists and turns, especially with the common folk having to relinquish their rule over the Bigg Boss house and becoming sevaks to the celebrities. And after a week of many ups and downs, it’s now time for host Salman Khan to usher in the festival of lights, Diwali with the housemates. And, in his own inimitable style, Salman will also give the contestants a quick round up of their actions and their consequences on the second Weekend Ka Vaar of Bigg Boss 10.

Kick-starting the festivities in his unique andaaz, Salman Khan danced on the number Prem Leela from his film Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo. After exchanging Diwali pleasantries with the housemates, he spoke to the contestants questioning them about their behaviour. Starting the conversation on a light note Salman asked Rohan Mehra and Om Swami about their hidden talent. Rohan entertained Salman with his air-guitaring skills to the superstar’s chartbusters Oh Oh Jaane Jaana and Just Chill, but Om Swami stole the spotlight with his unique rendition of the song Ye Mera Dil from Don.

Post the fun and games, Salman addressed the looming question of unity amongst the celebrities by asking Mona Lisa about her thoughts pertaining to her team’s behaviour towards her. Mona Lisa, on her part, opened up about the cold vibes she gets from her fellow teammates especially Gaurav Chopra. Salman probed further by speaking to Karan Mehra and Gaurav for not standing up in support of Rohan against the commoners during the luxury budget task.

Soon, it was Navin Prakash’s turn to take over the Khalnayak Kursi when he was voted to be the biggest villain in the house. In fact, even Navin agreed! Salman interrogated Navin about his shrewd and violent behaviour. When Navin tried to defends his actions, Salman reminded Navin to think about his pupils before misbehaving with his fellow housemates.

In the BB Laundry task, we saw how Manveer Gurjar and Manoj Manu Punjabi almost came to fists and blows with Rohan. This violent behaviour of these two commoners didn’t really go down with Salman, who indirectly warned them to not to get violent or else they will end up being inside the prison, not the one which is inside the Bigg Boss house, but the one, which is Lonavala Police Station.

Salman then asked Om Swami about the secret of his telepathic powers and the special bond he shares with the Almighty. Swami revealed that his powers have weakened in the Bigg Boss house generating peals from laughter from not only Salman but also the audiences. Clearly, Salman is tripping on Om Swami and we are definitely not complaining.

The environment again intensified after caller of the week put Navin’s integrity on the spot, as he asked Navin on why he wasn’t honest with his fellow housemates regarding the immunity task. Phir kya tha? Lokesh, who is already quite pissed him lashes out at Navin. Manveer and Manu weren’t really pleased with Navin’s backstabbing.

Wrapping up tonight’s episode, Salman announced Rohan, Manveer and Manu safe from eliminations, while Gaurav, Nitibha and Akansha are still in the danger zone. Who will be the second contestant to get evicted from Bigg Boss 10? We will find that out in tomorrow’s telecast.

All in all, tonight’s episode was certainly very entertaining, especially the part when Salman was ROFLing, thanks to Om Swami, which is why we give it a Garma Garam on our Masala Meter.

Diwali is here! For the next few days, it’s going to be about social parties, yummilicious food, fancy clothes and most importantly, family time. For our B-town and Tollywood stars, it’s no different. Just like Deepika Padukone flew down to Bangalore to bring in the festivities with her family, there was another star down south who flew to Chennai to be with her daddy dearest. We are talking about Shruti Haasan and Kamal Haasan. She looked gorgeous in a saree while Kamal Haasan rocked the casual look. Looks like, the father-daughter duo are having a blast. Well, when it comes to these two, however busy their schedules are, they always take time out for each other. They are undoubtedly the coolest father-daughter dus, and also one of the most good looking, if we can say so! She also posted a Boomerang video which was kind of cute.

The two will soon resume shooting for Sabash Naidu, a tri-lingual directorial venture by Kamal Haasan himself. The shoot had begun in full swing two months ago but came to an abrupt halt as Kamal Haasan injured himself. Akshara Haasan will also be assisting her dad on the sets. Well, it’s going to be fun and play for the three of them. The movie is based on one of the characters he played in Dasavathaaram

AS for shruti Haasan, she just wrapped her shoot for Singham 3. The movie is the third installment of the actioner series. It also stars Suriya and Anushka Shetty. Also, the first look of her next movie with Pawan Kalyan was out today. The two have already worked with each other in Sardar Gabbar singh. They are coming together again for the remake of Veeram. Her latest movie Premam, with Naga Chaitanya opened to positive reviews. She specially received praise for her portrayal of Miss Malar.

Our desi gal might be in Hollywood but she sure is stuck to her roots. Well, didn’t we already know this about Priyanka Chopra? She’s one lady with principles. And she has the best way to show to people that she’s still our very own desi gal. We all know how she has started her very own production company. Although her first film, which was a Bhojpuri flick, Bam Bam Bol Raha Hai Kashi received a lot of flak because of its content, her upcoming Marathi film, Ventilator is gaining a lot of attention for its touch of emotions. The film hasn’t released yet but the trailer suggests an emotional ride, that’s for sure. What’s more, the film also has Ashutosh Gowarikar in it as he steps into his acting shoes.

To promote her Marathi debut film as a producer, the actress decided to do something really sweet. She made a video where she channeled her Marathi mulgi avatar. We’ve seen her don the Maharashtrian look and yes, with every new role she dons, she just looks better. Be it in Agneepath or Bajirao Mastani, PeeCee has always looked really pretty. Even in the video where she sends her Diwali wish as well as promotes Ventilator, you see her wearing the classic Chandra bindi along with a saree. But that’s not the coolest part. Priyanka even spoke in Marathi to connect directly with the crowd! Check out the video below.

From acting as the legendary Kashibai in Bajirao Mastani to quickly becoming the American FBI agent, Alex Parrish in Quantico, clearly, you need to have a lot of talent crowding in you! Oh, yes, I did mean that! Anyway, her first Bhojpuri production wasn’t a hit but we’re hoping the Marathi film does well.

Bollywood star Kangana Ranaut is unsure whether she will be named the brand ambassador to promote Himachal Pradesh tourism or not. Kangana hails from the hill state and there has been a buzz around her refusal to sign an agreement. However, her father denies any wrongdoing.Two days after State Tourism Development Board Vice Chairman Vijai Singh Mankotia slammed the bureaucracy for deliberately scuttling the proposal mooted by him to appoint Kangana as the state’s brand ambassador, another board member on Saturday slammed the actress for demanding a huge amount.

“After negotiations, Kangana Ranaut said that she will charge Rs.45 lakh per day and all the other expenditure, including board and lodging for the entire unit, and cost of shooting will be borne by the government,” member S.P. Katyal said in a statement. “Therefore, it was costing more than Rs 2 crore for her single appearance. Even after this huge expenditure, the deliverables were not clear as to how many more tourists will arrive in the state after she promotes it,” he said. Upset over the ongoing developments, Kangana’s father Amardeep Singh Ranaut blamed the state government over flip-flops. Katyal said since Himachal Pradesh is a well established tourist destination, the domestic tourist inflow is already touching 2 crore per year and infrastructure is to be provided to house them.

On the other hand, Vice Chairman Mankotia said that despite several rounds of talks with Kangana in Mumbai, the proposal to sign an agreement with her was deliberately delayed by the bureaucracy. The issue turned hot on October 27 when Mankotia, after the Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Board meeting that was presided over by Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh here, told the media “the proposal to sign an agreement awaited government’s nod for over one and half years and now it has died its natural death”. He lamented the bureaucracy by saying, “she too was very keen to popularize her home state, but probably the bureaucracy was not too keen on it”.

Contrary to Mankotia’s assertions, Katyal said when Kangana was approached for being brand ambassador, first of all she never responded. He said that after Mankotia’s efforts, she agreed to talk on the issue. And even after this, she took more than six months for the officials to meet her. Then finally when a meeting was arranged she was taking the department and the government for a ride.

“She asked a huge amount of money for her appearance for the tourism department,” he said. “She was not insulted in any way, rather she inflicted insult on the people of the state by asking for huge money to promote the interests of the state,” Katyal said in a signed statement. Kangana’s father Amardeep told IANS over phone that two state tourism department officials met her in Mumbai almost nine months back to fix the shooting schedule and the expenditure.”After the first meeting, there was no communication from the state. I, in fact, approached the state on the insistence of my daughter as she had to fix her schedule for the state,” he said.

“She, in fact, demanded nominal charges to become the brand ambassador. Even if they (the state) had no funds, they can inform Kangana in this regard. Moreover, initially when her name was announced she was not taken into confidence,” said Amardeep, who is settled at Bhambla village near Hamirpur town, some 200 km from state capital Shimla. “My daughter is born and brought up in Himachal Pradesh and she herself is its brand ambassador,” the aggrieved father said. Currently, Kangana is busy in shooting director Hansal Mehta’s “Simran” in the US, he added.

Her father’s second marriage

Alia recalls an incident in her life when she was in standard fourth and someone came to ask her if her father has married five times. Instead of reacting to this, Alia kept her cool and instead just corrected the fact that it was two and not five. The actress reveals that this thing has never bothered her since they have been brought up with such an understanding. Shaandaar failure

Alia was quick and quite honest to say that Shaandaar’s failure was predicted by her father well in advance. It was the only movie probably which he didn’t like (though he loved Alia in some scenes). Apart from it, all of her movies so far have been successful and Mahesh has admired them all. But with Shaandaar he always knew this was gonna be the first unsuccessful movie of her career.

Aha! Looks like the Khan’s are gonna celebrate Diwali by the sea! Salman Khan’s family is as good as being called the Hum Saath Saath Hai kind. They are always together and always celebrate festivities like they do in movies. Of course, the sudden choreographed songs aren’t a part of their celebrations but otherwise, food, togetherness are always on their cards. For every occasion they always come and are there for each other. Same way for festivals also they celebrate together. We were appalled when Priyanka Jagga’s (the recently evicted commoner of Bigg Boss 10) alleged ex-boyfriend, Gautam Arora made some shocking statements about the lady, who caused a havoc during her one week stint inside the Bigg Boss house, thanks to her ill behaviour with the fellow contestants. Gautam, who is a DJ claimed that Priyanka has been estranged from her husband for more than three years. Not just that, Gautam, who apparently dated Priyanka for four to five months also went on to reveal that her profile of a Marketing Recruiter is a fake one and that she can do anything for money. So on one hand where Gautam was doing Priyanka’s character assassination, she on the other hand kept mum about this issue until now. Yes, we spoke to Priyanka earlier in the day and asked her about Gautam’s statements about her failed marriage. Quite pissed with his statements, here’s what she said, “If you saw the premiere episode of Bigg Boss, you obviously also must have seen my kids saying that I can’t cook and my husband cooks for everyone. So can you expect a 7-year-old kid to lie, that too on national television? We celebrated my son’s birthday on the 3rd October and my husband was very much there with all of us. So even if I was separated, why wouldn’t I talk about it while I was inside the house? Would audience not accept me just because I was separated from my husband?”

But the man also claims to be your ex-boyfriend. What do you have to say about that, we asked. “He just has one photo with me. And he has been claiming to be my boyfriend just by showing that one picture to the entire world. And he will definitely pay for attacking my character because I am filing a defamation suit against him,” she replied.

Bairavaa will mark Vijay’s 60 film. Jagapathi Babu will play the antagonist in this film. The movie is directed by Bharathan The team has wrapped all the talkie portions, they have only a song to shoot for. They have reportedly flown to Switzerland for this particular song.  It’s all set for a 2017 Pongal release. Interestingly, Nandamuri Balakrishna’s 100 film – Gautamiputra Satakarni and Chiranjeevi’s 150 film – Khaidi no 150 will also release around this time. So will there be clash between the three? Now that will something to watch out for!

In other news, Vijay has already signed up for his next with Theri director. Considering their combination was a winner at the box office this year, it would be great to see them team up again. Nothing else has been revealed about this project so far. There were rumours of Kajal Aggarwal being approached for the female lead, but there have been no confirmations. So who do you think should be roped in as the female lead for this movie?

The episode which ended in what could best be described as the ‘Red Wedding’ of Telly town, Shivangi (Mouni Roy) finally learns about her existence. The episode starts with Yamini (Sudha Chandran) trying to stop Sesha (Adaah Khan) from killing Shivangi. An angry Sesha tells them she will kill and doesn’t care about them attaining the naagmani. Basically, she is pissed that the family is getting Shivangi married to Rocky. Hence she wants to kill her once and for all. Plus, she also points out how she doesn’t gain anything from this alliance. Yamini then turns to Mahishvati and asks her to get rid of Kaali Naagin i.e. Sesha. But in turn, Sesha simply insults Mahisvati as well. While she hurls insults at them she also mentioned how she won’t gain anything from seeing their multi colour faces. Yep. She said that. Anyway, what Sesha doesn’t know is the the person she’s holding is not Shivangi but Shivanya!

Yes. In her own head, Shivanya is reliving all the scenes from when the whole bloodshed began to how Shivanya managed to exchange places with her daughter. An injured Shivanya manages to somehow get up and she starts explaining to Shivangi to go to the Shiv mandir and find shelter there. Shivanya has learnt of Sesha and the others’ plans to use Shivangi to get hold of the naagmani. However, because she doesn’t want them to hurt her, she somehow persuades her to leave. But at the nick of the time, Rocky is starts banging the doors calling Shivangi out. She wants to go to him but Shivanya tries to stop her. And in the mess, Shivangi sees her mother’s wound on her stomach. A now worried Shivangi wants to just stay with her mother and she tells her that she won’t leave. So Shivanya hits her on the head with an item around. Then she changes into her clothes and asks Gautami to take Shivangi to the temple. Dessed up Shivangi, Shivanya has a soliloque where she states how she doesn’t mind dying as long as her daughter is safe. Scene changes and a passed out Shivangi wakes up in the shiv mandir. She’s asking people around her about the whereabouts of her mother. Meanwhile, Sesha (being Sesha), in anger drops Shivangi (but really, it’s Shivanya) from the cliff. There’s a lot of slow mo falling sequence happening before which she finally collapses. An angry Mahisvati and Sesha turn into their bee and snake selves and have a face off. It’s ugly. Quite literally. In the fight, Mahisvati even stings Sesha. However, just when Mahisvati is about to kill Sesha with her venom, Yamini intderrupts and tells her that it’ll be a mistake if she kills Sesha.

Since Sesha wants to marry Rocky, she puts a deal that she’ll help them provided they get him married to her. Yamini says no but as soon as Sesha gives a death stare, she quickly changes her answer. Yamini then tells Sesha to go and get Shivangi’s corpse so she can prove to Rocky that his to-be bride is dead. Sesha being her awesome self, flies down and brings back the body of Shivangi, who hasn’t bled or even broken limbs after falling off a cliff. Yes. time for the man to make an entrance. Rocky comes in the picture. He is in the house. Someone hits him on the head from behind and as he wakes up, all he remembers is that. He starts calling out Shivangi and goes downstairs only to be faced by the bodies of people who got killed earlier. He freaks out and leaves the house in search of her. And, no surprise here, he come to the scene of crime.

So as Sesha sees Rocky come closer, she tells Yamini, “Overacting ki dukaan, chal apni dukaan khol.” Uh, yes. So that did happen. And as the cue goes, Yamini cries a river. So does Rocky. Shivangi on the other hand, is calling Rocky from under the cliff. Now how did she know he was there?! Nevermind. So she runs towards the cliff. But she is stopped by the Guru. Rocky is sad. He keeps saying that she can’t die. Simultaneously, Guru breaks the news to Shivangi that her mother is dead. “Maa ke dushman, tere dushman,” he tells her as she wouldn’t believe Rocky and others killed her mother. The Guru further asks, “Do you know whose your mother? Shivanya? No, naagin! She hid the truth from you.”

Meanwhile, Sesha is having her share of Iktarfa pyaar. Perhaps Karan Johar, you could’ve used Sesha in your film, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. Anyway, she still goes and hugs Rocky while he just stares at the corpse of his dead fiance. Sadly, he doesn’t realise that it’s not Shivangi but Shivanya lying dead there (bro, can’t even make the difference between fiance and mother-in-law). As soon as they leave, the Guru takes Shivangi to the place where Shivanya’s body has been rested. Guru tells her to open her mother’s eyes as she can see who killed her (Naagin perks). She sees all the enemies including a man wearing the garlands on the face (the groom, supposedly). A recap session takes place of Shivanya’s life.

After learning about her mother, Shivangi is mighty annoyed. While Rocky is missing Shivangi, she wants to kill him and the entire clan who were responsible for her mother’s death. But she’s not a naagin (she thinks). She actually runs out somewhere in an arid region and yells “Help me avenge you!” And then comes a tiger. Finally, an animal that won’t change into a human. So he wants to attack her but naag helps her ward off the carnivore. Stay tuned to this space to know what happens tomorrow.

The biggest highlight of yesterday’s episode was when Pihu found out that she is Ishita’s daughter and not Shagun’s (Anita Hassanandani). Raman (Karan Patel), as usual, yells at Ishita (Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya) for saying that Pihu is her daughter and not Shagun. Pihu tells her father that if she has come to take her then she’ll come. The father-daughter are in the car when Raman tries to explain that what Ishita said is in fact, the truth. He brings the example of Lord Krishna’s story. However, Pihu is stubborn about her thoughts that Shagun is her real mother and not Ishita. Someone calls Mihika and blackmails her about the previous night when she was in the hotel room with her ex-fiance. She cuts the call. Enter Raman with Pihu. Shagun is quite mad at him for that. In the meantime, Ruhi calls Pihu but she goes to Shagun instead.

Ishita finally arrives and they are all happy as they’ll start the ceremony of Aaliyah and Adi’s wedding. However, nobody knows where Adi’s ring is. He also states that its not with him whereas he has something romantically cheesy planned for his fiance. It’s a cheesy engagement ceremony that takes place. Adi says he wants his mother’s blessings and walks straight up to Ishita (Ouch, Shagun!). The anonymous caller sends pictures of what happened last night between Mihika and *. Mihika gets a call again and she challenges him. He uses the word ‘mandavli’ for her challenge. Yep. That happens. Mihika and Mihir have a troubled conversation where she argues that she wanted to tell Romy but couldn’t.

Romy butts in and takes Mihika away. Ishita tells Raman that she isn’t the one who told Pihu about it but that she found out on its own. To this Raman retorts that he doesn’t want to talk to her to avoid upsetting Pihu. In the background, Adi and Aaliyah are performing. Romy is holding Mihika and talking to her, happy about the smooth ceremony. She however, wants to open up about the hotel incident. Just when she is about to tell him, Romy’s friend enters. He is a lawyer and he takes care of cases where parents are not able to get custody of their kids rightfully. After overhearing this, Raman goes to Ishita and tells her about this and hopes for help with respect to Pihu.

This Diwali, it was a mighty clash between Karthi‘s Kaashmora and Dhanush‘s Kodi. While one was an out and out horror masala film, the other was a political thriller. Both movies have received positive reviews. Karthi has been praised immensely for his versatile performance, as for Dhanush, his double act has blown everyone away. But where do the movies stand in terms of Box office? Well, let’s begin with the local Tamil Nadu Box office. Turns out, Kodi has had a blockbuster opening, reports suggest the movie is estimated to have collected Rs 15 crores gross, from TN alone.  As for Kaashmora, the movie went on to collect Rs 12.5 crore by the end of 2 days. So on the local front, Dhanush’s movie has raced ahead of Karthi’s mythological drama. But worldwide, Karthi’s movie is ruling hands down!

On day 1 at US box office, the movie managed to collect Rs 85 Lakhs, by the end of two days, it raked in Rs 1.49 crore. As for Dhanush’s Kodi, the movie had managed to collect Rs 25.5 lakhs. To add to it, Kaashmora, overall has collected Rs 4 crore overseas. So looks like, worldwide, the black magic masala film has cats its spell. But it’s a win-win for both movies. While one is ruling at the TN box office, the other is rocking it worldwide. We are now awaiting the opening weekend collections to pass off the final verdict.

Karthi’s Kaashmora is reportedly one of Karthi’s biggest releases it was released in 1800 screens in Tamil and Telugu. The movie’s storyline may have received mixed reviews but Karthi’s performance is the biggest highlight. As for Dhanush’s Kodi, his double act has received rave reviews, everyone is applauding the brilliant concept of ‘once a twin always a twin’, also Trisha’s bold, negative avatar has been noticed.

If the figures are anything to go back, Kaashmora will change the game for Karthi, and as for Dhanush, he is back in the game after Thodari’s lukewarm response.

Shah Rukh Khan is a charmer and we all know that. But did you know what a fantastic poet he is? If you don’t know yet then be prepared for you are about to find out soon. The actor has shared a heartfelt poem for the jawans of the country. If you notice, this is a kind of gesture every celebrity from the industry is doing this Diwali. It started with Salman Khan who shared a video by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Later Akshay Kumar to shared a very touching message with the help of a video. The poem was very beautiful and instantly struck a chord with us. You wouldn’t expect anything less from Mr Khan anyway, right? His message too was rather cute as while he said to celebrate a happy and safe Diwali without fire crackers, ironically we could hear a cracker burst in the background. A fact that even he acknowledged and jested about.

The actor’s video started with an endearing message. He said, “Happy Diwali to all around the world and specially to our soldiers who are serving at the border and elsewhere in the country. A very happy Diwali to their families, to their wives, mothers, fathers and specially their children. May they have the healthiest and happiest day today and the rest of their loves.” After this he started reciting his poem which was heartfelt. Only Shah Rukh can do such things and make you fall for him. Being the festival of lights, all the celebs in Bollywood have expressed their wishes for others with sweet messages. Earlier in the morning, Priyanka Chopra, Sidharth Malhotra, Alia Bhatt, Hrithik Roshan and a lot of other celebs shared their wishes to their fans.

The episode starts with Salman Khan dancing to the tunes of Aaj Ki Party along with a few kids. Now when there’s Mr Khan around, at least one sequence with kids is a given, considering how much he’s fond of them. Anyway, so the Aaj Ki Party performance comes to an end not before the actor gives away some Diwali presents to the kids. He even reveals that the kids are actually orphans post the dance gig that they conduct. So yes. All the cutesy stuff happens and then Salman gets down to business. And you know what happens when he starts grilling the contestants in the house. However, we’ll save your souls there for that doesn’t happen in today’s episode. He is quite easy on them and even plays some quippy games with them. Now you might have noticed by now that Salman is totally gaga over Om Swami. Who wouldn’t be?

Being his favourite, the actor quickly starts taking on Swamiji by showcasing a montage of alternate career options for the man. That bit includes his face being photoshopped on Barack Obama, Yo Yo Honey Singh, Baahubali and Khan’s Dabangg as well! That sort of eases all the tension reigning over the nominated contestants. Post the same, he introduces two new games namely, The Laddoogame and The Thappad game before setting a festive mood. The laddoo game’s basic rule is that you present the orange laddoo to the person you like the most and green for the one whose presence could be avoided. Sadly, after Navin’s backstabbing incident, most of the green laddoos go straight to him. Swamiji then talks about worldly pleasures and how Salman Khan hasn’t really experienced any as he isn’t married. Ouch. Swami burns Khan!

The thappad game is also quite an interesting one as the minute the person on the seat fails to speak the truth, gets a slap from a gigantic and slightly creepy palm kept right next to the seat. Gaurav Chopra, Navin Prakash, Manu Punjabi and Lopamudra Raut get the golden opportunity to be slapped by the creepy palm. Among the four, Gaurav and Navin both get slapped the maximum times. The fun game comes to an end as a new segment i.e. Salman Ki Sabha takes over where three housewives share their perspective about how both the Indiawale and celebrities fared in the week bygone. The housewives are utterly disappointed in Bani J for underperforming so much and having difficulty balancing between showing her fierce side and maintaining the celeb status.

After the housewives finish with their segment of discussion, the eliminations start. Salman being such a prankster that he his, tricks Gaurav Chopra into believing that its him who has been eliminated. He even goes to get his bags. But soon Khan reappears on the screen and states that ‘he was a-joking!’. The announcement is made and by a very fine line, Nitibha is saved while Akansha Sharma is evicted from the house. She seems totally happy by the decision while Nitibha cries a river (that was slight exaggeration). Soon they all go together and see her off.

The night then switches from intense to hilarious as Bharti Singh makes an appearance along with her comedy partner Karan Wahi. We’ve seen how entertaining and something annoying, Singh’s comical gags and fiery jabs can be. They enter and start taking digs at all the contestants, especially Om Swami as Bharti and Karan joke about his 100-crore film undertaking. In fact, they even make him dance and Swami ji being a total badass, is quick to shake a leg to Salman Khan’s song ‘Baby Ko Bass Pasand Hai’. Their attention, well, Karan Wahi’s attention then turns to Lokesh Kumari. He makes her audition for Comedy Nights Bachao Taaza. After shaking a leg, Lokesh just starts to talk but forgets her lines!

Bharti, however, takes a jibe on her by making fun of her voice and comparing her voice to the indomitable Rakhi Sawant! Ouch! But, at the end of the day, it’s Weekend Ka Vaar and Salman Khan bid adieu to a contestant, none other than Akansha Sharma. I gotta state this, Salman surely is very fond of Om Swami. He loves taking Swamiji’s case and a lot of times, Swamiji manages to give it back to him in the most subtle manner! Just like how today Omji made a sly but apt comment on Salman’s single status! Aren’t they entertaining? We sure thought so! Not a totally garma garam episode but garam enough thanks to Salman’s laughter riot! Stay tuned to this space for all Bigg Boss 10 updates!
