Unlike usual couples who after split, hold grudges against each other, these two are ultimate cute! They are very supportive of each other’s work and are super cordial. Maybe it’s this chemistry of theirs that just keeps our hopes on their pair to reconcile, alive. As you all know, tomorrow is a big day for Alia as her film with Shah Rukh Khan, Dear Zindagi is slated to release. Buzz around is quite strong as everybody is curious to know what filmmaker Gauri Shinde has in store for us. However, what’s slightly curious and more adorable is the fact that Sid has come for the screening of his ex bae, Alia’s movie!
If you notice, even in the past, despite breakup, Bhatt and Malhotra attended same events and brushed shoulders. Of course, there was a little distance maintained initially but looks like all that is in the past as the duo are once again good buddies. Dear Zindagi releases this Friday which stars Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt. All this while we thought the two of them don’t have any romantic connection in the film but the release of the Aye Zindagi Gale Laga Le song yesterday made us believe that there could a whiff of romance between the two after all. It could be an one-sided affair for all we know but if it turns out to be true, it will be nothing less than history. SRK (51) romancing 23 year old Alia Bhatt will be a big deal, we feel so. It isn’t for the first time that such an age gap is noticed between the leads of a film. In fact, it got us wondering what is generally the fate of such movies and turns out they have more or less always worked at the box office. But then there were duds too. So here’s a list of films done by our 40 + A-listers with nearly half their age actresses and their B.O. verdict.
Sultan (2016)
Star cast: Salman Khan (Age: 50), Anushka Sharma (Age: 28)
Verdict: All Time Blockbuster
Salman Khan’s films are always awaited not only by his fans but by the industry as well because when it comes to him, the film is bound to be a super duper hit. And the industry needs cash flow in the form of revenue. Sultan earned more than 300 crore in the domestic market alone becoming the most successful film of this year. Salman’s chemistry with Anushka wasn’t the talking point of the film because it was mostly about Sultan’s rise, fall and rise again. But you cannot deny the fact that the two had a huge age difference and yet the audience lapped it up.
Happy New Year (2014)
Star cast: Shah Rukh Khan (Age: 49), Deepika Padukone (Age: 28)
Verdict: Blockbuster
Happy New Year was the best Diwali gift Shah Rukh Khan fans got in recent times. In fact, it was his last Diwali release which made oodles of money. At that time SRK was 49 years old while Deepika was 28, there was an exact 20 years difference between the two. But could you spot that difference? No right? Happy New Year is one of the highest grossing films of Indian Cinema.
Dhoom 3 (2013)
Star cast: Aamir Khan (Age: 48), Katrina Kaif (Age: 30)
Verdict: Blockbuster
Dhoom 3 had major flaws but it was presented beautifully and hence became one of the highest grossing films. Aamir and Katrina looked a bit off since the age gap was clearly visible but audience didn’t mind and made it a success.
Rustom (2016)
Star cast: Akshay Kumar (Age: 49), Ileana D’cruz (Age: 29)
Verdict: Superhit
Rustom is a film Akshay Kumar is very proud of and us too. It introduced today’s generation with a case that was a celebrated one in the year it happened. Also what people liked was Akshay and Ileana’s chemistry which was very refreshing because it was new. No wonder the film became such a big hit.
Shivaay (2016)
Star cast: Ajay Devgn (Age: 47), Erika Kaar (Age: 28)
Verdict: Still Running
Shivaay is still earning money at the box office and that says a lot about how Ajay Devgn and Erika Kaar’s chemistry got appreciated in the film. Nobody cared that there is a huge difference between the two because at the end it’s all about conviction and both of them looked very much in love with each other.
Mohenjo Daro
Star cast: Hrithik Roshan (Age: 42), Pooja Hegde (Age: 26)
Verdict: Disappointment
Mohenjo Daro clashed with Rustom this year and paid the price. The film couldn’t make much headway at the box office and went down to Akshay’s film. This time the audience couldn’t digest the romance between a 42 year old man and 26 year old girl. Mind you, it was a love story set in prehistoric times.
Rock On 2
Star cast: Farhan Akhtar (Age: 42), Shraddha Kapoor (Age: 29)
Verdict: Disaster
Rock On 2 was a sequel nobody wanted except for the makers perhaps. There was no buzz around the film and the demonetisation drive severed its case further. Even Farhan and Shraddha’s rumoured off screen affair couldn’t save the film either. Clearly, this jodi with a vast age difference was rejected by the audience outrightly.
So it’s clear that the formula of casting a older actor and younger actress in a film has worked at the box office most of the times.
Going by their latest picture, it is safe to assume, one of the most loved Tollywood couples is now engaged! It’s every fan’s dream to see the reel life couple come together for real. The buzz around the two had started much earlier when Samantha had revealed details about her secret boyfriend few months ago this year. Soon after the two were spotted having dinner together. The fact that Sam took him to watch her movie AAa, fuelled rumours further. But neither addressed their relationship back then. Two three months later, Chaitanya’s father Nagarjuna announced that both sons ( Chaitanya and Akhil) had found their soulmates and that, Amala ( his wife) and he were really happy for them. It was around the end of August. Samantha and Naga unofficially confirmed their relationship by making in an appearance together at a wedding. She further sealed the deal when she opened up about Chay in an interview,a month later – “Chay (Naga Chaitanya) and I are in a relationship and the reason we’re not talking about marriage is because even the immediate family would know about the wedding only three months before. Why should I talk about marriage to the media when there’s still time? We have our parents’ blessings and there’s nothing to hide. We have a friendship and relationship as long as my career – right from my first film. I’m extremely happy. And no, the wedding is not in 2016.”
During the promotions of Premama, Naga Chaitanya had mentioned that they would get married only after his brother Akhil tied the knot. From what we know, Akhila and his to be fiance Shriya are reportedly set for a destination wedding in 2017. So, will Sam-Chay tie the knot in December? Fans can’t to know their wedding date, especially after it seems like that she is now engaged.
Finally we have an official picture of Jhanvi Kapoor with her boyfriend Shikhar Pahariya as they arrived together at the Dear Zindagi screening last night. Yes, this happened! Can you believe it? Despite rumours which suggested mom Sridevi has issued a ‘no boyfriend’ policy for Jhanvi, Shikhar was seen accompanying the entire Kapoor family for the screening last night, seated right next to Jhanvi and Sridevi in the car. Now if this doesn’t confirm their ‘official’ relationship status then I dunno what will….
In fact, this picture also proves how Jhanvi doesn’t care a damn about what’s being perceived out of her right now. I mean, usually when you are set to make your Bollywood debut, you would obviously want your personal life to take a back seat and get discussed only for your looks and appearances. For all the ignorant, Shikhar is Sushil Kumar Shinde’s grandson, who is basically from Delhi but has done his schooling in Mumbai from Dhirubhai Ambani International School and Bombay Scottish School. For further studies he went abroad to London and has done graduation from Regent’s University London. Like his grandfather he also has a keen interest in politics. A fan of the TV series Entourage Shikhar plays Polo, and has been a part of Royal Jaipur Polo team and has even represented Indian in Berkshire Polo Club London back in 2013. No wonder he caught the eye of the gorgeous Jhanvi.

Dear Zindagi is a movie we are dying to watch ever since we came to know Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt are cast as the main leads. We are curious as to how this pair would work out, considering the huge gap between SRK and Alia (He is 51, she is 23…but not that it matters much in our movie industry). However the makers have insisted that they will not be having a romantic equation in the film. Instead, Alia Bhatt will be the main lead of the movie, while Shah Rukh Khan, in an extended guest appearance, will be playing her life coach. Apart from these two, the movie will also star Aditya Roy Kapur, Ali Zafar, Kunal Kapoor and Angad Bedi. Dear Zindagi is directed by Gauri Shinde and jointly produced by Karan Johar and Shah Rukh Khan.
An interesting fact about Alia Bhatt is that she made her debut with Student of The Year, which also was a co-production between Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment. However this is the first time she will be acting with Shah Rukh Khan. Forget Shah Rukh, this is the first time she is acting with any major superstar of Bollywood, The Khans, the Kumars and the Roshans. So will acting with such a big ticket name prove beneficial for a young star like Alia Bhatt?
Now Alia Bhatt is already an established actress with successes under kitty, like Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, Udta Punjab, Kapoor & Sons etc. Shah Rukh Khan had already labelled her ‘the greatest actor of her generation’. At the age of 21, Deepika Padukone made her BIG debut opposite a two decades older Shah Rukh Khan in Farah Khan’s Om Shanti Om. Even with that huge age difference, her pairing with SRK was much liked by the audience. They worked together again as a pair in Chennai Express , which was one of the biggest hits of all time and Happy New Year, which despite the bad reviews, was a huge hit.
Anushka Sharma
Lika Deepika Padukone, even Anushka Sharma made her debut in a movie opposite Shah Rukh Khan in Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi. She is younger to him by more than twenty years, and the movie even acknowledges the age difference. Despite Ghajini latter toppling it at the box office, RNBDJ was still one of the biggest hits of the year. She was also a part of Jab Tak Hai Jaan, that again was a hit.
Katrina Kaif
Compared to other girls in the list, Katrina is just 18 years younger to King Khan when she acted opposite him in late Yash Chopra’s flawed swansong, Jab Tak Hai Jaan. Though it may not be a romantic drama that you want Shah Rukh Khan to be in, the movie was a huge money spinner, especially in the overseas, grossing Rs 2.11 billion worldwide.
Kriti Sanon
Even though Kriti Sanon is paired with Varun Dhawan in the movie, Dilwale is still a Shah Rukh Khan starrer, and she gets to share screen with him. Though the movie got average reviews and, by SRK’s own admission, disappointing domestic box office returns, Dilwale got a HUGE box office opening and it worked very well overseas, earning more that Rs 300 crores worldwide.

It’s official! Dileep and Kavya Madhavan will tie the knot today. The ceremony will be held between 8-10:30 am at a hotel in Cochin. It has reportedly been confirmed by both their families. According to reports from leading portals, Dileep and Kavya reached Cochin Thursday itself. He called up his friends on thursday to inform them of this wedding. Close friends and relatives will be part of this ceremony. With this news, all the speculations around their marriage comes to an end.
It was in August, the two had come together for an exclusive interview for Vanitha, a leading regional magazine. “My life has been an open book and whenever a new thing happens, it will be communicated to all.” revealed the actor when he was asked about remarrying again. In fact, at that time, he had mentioned that if at all it came to marrying again, his daughter’s consent would be important. “Usually, it’s the parents who will decide one’s marriage. In my case, I have to ask my daughter. I am like a kid before her,” So can we assume, Meenakshi has given her approval?
This is the couple’s second marriage. Dileep was previously married to Manju Warrier and Kavya Madhavan was married to Nischal Chandra. While Dileep got divorced in 2014, Manju warrier got divorced in 2011. Much before this news today, the two had been rumoured to be a couple for the longest time. In fact, many cited their affair as the reason for the Dileep-Manju warrier split. But Dileep was quick to deny that Kavya was not the reason in the Vanitha interview.

Dileep and Kavya got married today in a private function at a hotel in Cochin. The ceremony took place between 8 -10:30 a.m. The couple reportedly had reached Thursday night itself. They then invited their friends and relatives on Thursday. So it was a totally unexpected event fopr people close to them. Dileep, the groom himself went LIVE form the scrent ceremony. Here’s what he had to say “Greetings to all. A big event ( in my life) is happening today. I had told you all, if anything was going to happen, i would come and tell you all. And now I am doing that. Today I am getting married. Since I wanted to get married,, we all came to this decision with ym duaghter, both our families. She ‘s anyway my close friend (Kavya Madhavan) so anyway, getting married to somebody else wouldn’t be possible, so we came to this decision. All fans who love us, we need your prayers and support. He was very happy for my son and asked him about his health and how he was doing now. The week has almost come to an end and Salman Khan is all set to rule our TV screens with yet another Weekend Ka Vaar of Bigg Boss 10. With so much drama that unfolded throughout this week inside the Bigg Boss house, the BB 10 host will obviously have a lot to talk to the housemates. The otherwise calm and composed Rahul Dev finally lost his cool on Om Swami and got into a massive war of words with him. Then there were Lopamudra Raut and Manu Punjabi, who lost the secret task, as a result Rohan Mehra retained his captaincy for one more week. So we really can’t wait for the Sultan actor’s interaction with the contestants.
However, let us tell you it’s not only Salman, but a former BB contestant is also all set to bring the house down this week. Last week VJ Andy and Tanishaa Mukerji joined Salman on the stage and shared a few words of wisdom with the contestants. This week, it will be none other than the winner of Bigg Boss 8 Gautam Gulati.
Naturally, Gautam is quite excited to go back to the show, which changed his life. In his own unique style, he tweeted:

Guess we are in for a lot of fun during the upcoming Weekend Ka Vaar with Salman Khan.
As we all know, Dileep and Kavya Madhavan got married today in ceremony at a hotel in cochin. The function took place between 8-10:30 am. The entire function was LIVE streamed frrom the venu. Apart from the couple surprising their fans, turns out they surprised friends, actors and co-workers. While speaking to a leading regional portal, Jo mol, one of Dileep’s co-stars revealed that she got to know about this big event a few hours before the function, “I just came to know about it early Friday morning at 4’O clock. Kavya had messaged me saying I should be here at venue by 8.30 am and I am indeed glad to be here with them” Whoa! Even Meera Jasmine who has worked with Dileep had no clue,”‘Not at all. In fact, I don’t think it was a planned function. It was a quick decision and it’s a good one. She also mentioned how happy she was for them,”It’s a good news, right? I can’t be more happy for them. Dileep also went LIVE minutes before the ceremony. He mentioned how he had told his fans, if he were to take such a deicison, he would inform them in the future. And that is xactly what he did, he went LIVE just to inform them of this big event in his life. He requested everyone to pray, bless and support the two. In the LIVE event, you can spot his daughter and both their families standing on stage.
There have been rumours around this couple for the longest time. they have now put all speculations to rest, by finally getting married today. The two were previously married but soon got separated from their spouses. On the work front, they have acted in many movies and delivered many hits. As a reel life pair, they rocked.
Aamir Khan’s nervousness triggers his smoking habit. Who knew, right? Aamir, nervous? Well, it so transpires that Dangal caused him sleepless nights and got him to start smoking again, almost a year after kicking the habit.
Pre-release jitters
Says a source, “It’s a thing. Before every release, Aamir gets nervous and starts smoking again. It happened during PK, Dhoom 3, Talaash… and it has nothing to do with the quality of the film. The last time he quit the habit was in January this year and since then, he lost 25 kg as he had to get in shape for Dangal. But now, he’s got into the pre-release phase and his nervousness keeps growing. Every time he gets nervous he becomes a full-fledged smoker, puffing at countless cigarettes a day.”
Not in front of Azad
If anything has changed, it’s because of his son Azad’s presence in his life. “Azad doesn’t like his dad’s smoking and whenever he sees Aamir puffing away, he tells him to go out of the house or smoke in the balcony. There is no way that Aamir can smoke in front of little Azad. It’s very cute seeing him tell his dad off,” concludes the source. Well, you’ll have to be nervous considering this year his contemporaries, Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan made their grand releases. While Shah Rukh’s Fan fizzled at the box office, Salman’s Sultan hit like a bomb, destroying a lot of records but still having difficulty beating PK. Already Dangal and Sultan’s comparisons are done because of the same backdrop i.e. wrestling. Obviously the comparisons with respect to the money earned by both of them would take place as and when the film releases. Also, because of all the buzz and anticipation around the film, it might take a toll on Aamir’s nervousness! However, we do wish he kicks the butt soon.
Dangal will be releasing on December, 23. It has a Christmas opening plus, around the film, there is no big release. It has a wide window of opportunity. Dear Zindagi has got rave reviews and is yet another brilliant film in Alia Bhatt’s bag. Even with Shah Rukh Khan in the film, Alia’s performance has stood out and how! With her performance in Udta Punjab, everyone had pretty high expectations from the actress for Dear Zindagi. It is the first time that she has worked with Gauri Shinde, who had also directed English Vinglish. Alia opens up about working with Gauri Shinde and Shah Rukh Khan while giving us an insight into how she solves her problems. Here are excerpts from the interview.
Was it a breeze shooting for Dear Zindagi, coming off Udta Punjab?
Not really, in fact not at all. Udta was difficult for different reasons but my part in Dear Zindagi was also a very difficult one to play though it was easily relatable. In DZ, I had to convey a very simple emotion with this character. I didn’t have the crutches of a girl getting abducted and raped. I had a simple story that I needed to follow, a simple character graph that I needed to build, so in that case, it was not easy.
You’re working with a female director for the first time.
Yes. And what I really liked about Gauri is that she’s very real and straightforward and the same goes for her work. There’s no fakeness. She knows exactly what she wants and is very focused. The great thing is that before we started shooting, I understood my character and we were both on the same page. She didn’t have to really tell me beyond a point what to do. We had this amazing sync. And the few times I wasn’t able to carry it for some reason she would say just one thing and it would push the right button. She would say ‘Just think about this’ and it would happen. She knew the right things to say. Many a time I would know that this would be an okay take and we could move on to the next scene. Did you sign the film because it had Shah Rukh Khan in it?
(Laughs) No… Uh…huh. Shah Rukh wasn’t event on board at that time. The no-fuss, simple story and concept drew me to it.

Why does your character need a psychiatrist or a shrink? Also, in India shrinks are not looked kindly upon….
I don’t want to put too much focus on the fact that the film is about a girl going to a psychiatrist. As you rightly said, people here don’t understand therapy, the fact that you need help from a third person who is a stranger whom you need to pay for help. So let’s not talk about all that. What this film is about is the fact that we all have questions in life and most times we don’t have answers. And sometimes we need answers from neutral people. This film is about the journey of finding those answers and as Shah Rukh’s character says, “It’s about finding simple joys in an imperfect life.” That’s the essence of the film.
In real life who’s your go-to person when you need advice?
I am a very secretive person. I don’t talk about my problems to anybody. But I have different people that I speak to. Eventually, though, I end up listening to myself only. So even if I ask people for advice and they give it, I may not listen to them as it’s my ‘you’ that takes over. Sometimes, it’s important to hear the right thing at the right time.
What connects you to your character Kayra in the film?
A lot of things — the fact that she’s very moody, a little grey, she’s not a typically correct person but yet a very sensitive person. Even I am a very sensitive person.
You have three guys romancing you in the movie — so were you the most pampered person on the sets being the solo girl?
We didn’t always have all the boys on the sets at once so it wasn’t like a boy-fest with just one girl (laughs), but I get pampered on every Dharma set or every set that I have worked in… People always pamper and take care of me…
You give the impression of being fragile and delicate…That you need looking after.
(Butts in) Fragile, I don’t know… but sensitive, yes! I give people the impression that I need looking after, I let people believe that so they feel happy (her eyes twinkle) but actually I don’t need to be. I can and do take care of myself pretty well.
SRK advises you in the film. Off the sets have you given him any advice?
I gave him advice on how to up his Instagram game and he totally took it. I told him he could get better with his Instagram and he’s been killing it while shooting for The Ring. I messaged him also that he’s doing it so well now. I guess I am a good teacher! (Laughs) Of course, he insists that he always had this talent for Instagram but he was hiding it from the world because he didn’t want the world to see his talent.
ALIA IN THE SHRINK’S CHAIR
On advice she’d give these stars
Kangana Ranaut: I don’t know her. Don’t know what advice I can give her.
Varun Dhawan: To just believe in himself and not ask for so many takes again and again.
Arjun Kapoor: I think he should be giving advice as he’s very good at giving it. But I think it’s high time Arjun got himself a girlfriend. I keep telling him that he can’t be alone all the time, he needs to find love and be in a relationship.
Ranveer Singh: I would advise Ranveer to teach other people his ability to remain so joyful and so in love with himself. People can use that as self-love is very important and he needs to spread that.
Sidharth Malhotra: To be a little nonsensical. While he can be perky and fun, he just needs not to make sense just for one day because he makes too much sense always, according to me.
Karan Johar: He needs to take a long vacation, just chill and de-stress, take a massage and eat food. Karan needs to just relax.
Mahesh Bhatt: He needs to try and not have an opinion for a day and let’s see how that goes.
Sonam Kapoor: Sonam is fab! I love her. She needs no advice from anybody!
Shah Rukh Khan: He can also take a break. I think he’s not taken one in years. He won’t like it because if I understand him, he loves his work but he can take a holiday and go somewhere with AbRam.
We’ve never had an iota of doubt that Hrithik Roshan is one of the most good-looking men in the world. And now, the world has acknowledged that. While usually, airport is also like a ramp for several celebrities, Ankita has chosen to keep it simple and minimal. Be it her fashion or her makeup game, it's very low key. Is there a special reason behind it, Ankita?
The much hyped Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Shivaay ended up impacting both films. With combined collections of both the films expected to close in the Rs 210-220 crore range, it is hardly good news. Last year’s Diwali release Salman Khan’s Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, despite mixed word of mouth, had ended up netting Rs 210 crore all by itself. The potential these days is clearly Rs 300 crore with the number of screen that are now available (around 5000) but the two Cs — content and clash — have resulted in much lesser numbers.
With the next big clash is expected to take place on January 26, 2017, one wonders if Bollywood can afford another clash.Hrithik Roshan’s Kaabil was all set to arrive solo on the Republic Day weekend. However, Shah Rukh Khan’s eventual decision to arrive on the same date turned out to be a spanner in the plan for all involved.
Larger issue
The issue is not just about Shah Rukh Khan vs Hrithik Roshan. The issue is much larger, that of the industry which has seen its fortunes dip already in 2016. The last thing it needs is bloodshed right at the beginning of the year. Bollywood could well do with a much better success ratio, the fact remains that even if both films are at least well made, at least 25 per cent loss is definitely on the cards.
Even if one gives a nod of approval to the rationale of ‘the-film-which-announced-its-release-date-first-should-arrive-solo’, it is common sense that when two biggies arrive on the same date, audiences will get divided. Both Shah Rukh and Hrithik are superstars and when they arrive with a film which plays to their strength, there is no stopping them.
Their Dilwale and Bang Bang may have seen mixed reviews but still, former (with Shah Rukh’s romantic image) went on to do close to Rs 150 crore while latter (with Hrithik’s action image) did even better to cross the Rs 175 crore mark. That tells the tale!
Hence, now that Hrithik is coming with Kaabil and SRK is coming with Raees, one just hopes that there is no clash whatsoever. One look at the promo of Kaabil and you know that Hrithik is pretty much in the ‘zone’ with this Sanjay Gupta directed affair, especially when compared against Mohenjo Daro. On the other hand, Raees has seen much better buzz building it when compared to Shah Rukh’s last, Fan. Unfortunately though, the situation is turning out to be the kind where one would be ‘forced’ to make a choice. When pirated DVDs and online prints are available within 24 hours of a film arriving, for a viewing member a choice has already been made. In a good case scenario, one film would be seen in theaters. In the best case scenario, both would be seen. However, the ratio would be minimal in case of the latter.
However, pick any patron and give him a choice to watch two films at a gap of two or more weeks and he would be glad to grab them both. Especially, when you are talking about two major superstars in two of the most anticipated films of the year.
As things stand today, promotion of Kaabil is already on. On the other hand, for Raees it is yet to begin. There is still time. It is a matter of blinking first with grace.
More than anything else, it is needed for the sake of the industry!

Lopamudra Raut is one of the hottest contestants on Bigg Boss. She is easily one of the most popular contestants on this season of the reality show. She has already made her way to the hearts of the audience. Recently, a major throwback moment turned the heat up in the house. Lopa wore a pair of heels and danced around a pole for a task, and stunned everyone with her sizzling performance. And guess who was judging the task? Sunny Leone! Lopa doesn’t need to care about these entries. If she is more popular than Sunny Leone than she is without a doubt more popular than anyone in the house. We even see a Bigg Boss 10 winner in Lopamudra Raut now. But you never know what will happen in Bigg Boss. I mean Rahul Roy and Vindu Dara Singh have, unbelievably, won in their respective seasons. They say Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra are on a ‘break’ right now or say have called off their relationship; but this latest revelation definitely doesn’t speak likewise. I mean, although Alia doesn’t approve of making an official announcement about her relationship status with Sid but when we caught up with Alia to play ‘Google’s most asked questions’, she surprisingly didn’t think twice before stating, “I love Sidharth Malhotra.” Yes, this happened! Can you believe it?
Basically, the game was very simple. Alia had to answer Google’s most asked questions- the ones that we keep googling about Alia every now and then. So the questions varied from being as silly as ‘Alia Bhatt’s house?’ to whether she likes Sidharth Malhotra and there she was… making a loving confession about her equation with Sid. No wonder Alia didn’t even shy away from expressing her PDA with Sidharth on Twitter the yesterday. While Sid being a sweetheart complemented Alia for being so flawless in Dear Zindagi as he tweeted ”
Heartwarming radiant vulnerable n the heartbeat of #DearZindagi @aliaa08 gives her best performance till now love n power to u way to go.” Alia too decided to reply by sending more love as she wrote, “Haha aww thank you Sid!!!!!! Love you ”
Guess Alia and Sid have finally resolved their differences and are yet again back together or you never know, maybe their ‘love you’ is just another expression to say ”I love you as a friend’ given that the talks suggest Alia and Sid have broken up to only retain their friendship. Not to mention, Sid too in his recent media interaction had clarified if he’s more than friends with Alia as he said, “Nobody can decide that. No one knows what can happen in the future. We want to make the most out of our time(in the industry) and during that process, you connect with people. I have done two films with Alia so it’s only natural that we both have a lot of fondness for each other. There’s a great amount of comfort because we’ve worked together. It’s great if you get along with a colleague. Quiz him if she’s really just a colleague and he adds, “Yes, Alia is a very dear colleague.”
